Review 1：Communication with the staff is difficult not only because of thelanguage barrier, but because they have no wish to discuss anything:transfer from the airport, bb or hb. I couldn't get a clear reply.We ended up paying extra 40 euros a day for hb instead of bb -precondition for use of the private beach (accessible to everybody else)and a-la-carte dinner (choice to be made in in the morning in Italianonly). For the first dinner got a spoonful of "pasta withseafood" with one mussel and Caprese salad as the main course.Never heard of lack of food in Italy! At breakfast they use plastic cupsfor juice made of powder. Breakfast is mostly sweet pastry. Coffee canonly be obtained from the waiter and nobody would dare asking for asecond cup. Amazingly unprofessional management.

Review 8：Even though we were the only couple in the hotel this family run hotel was wonderful. The language barrier, mainly due to our lack of Italian was a source of much amusement on both sides. We could not have been looked after any better, suggestions of local delicacies for the evening meal were wonderful and beautifully prepared. The location has wonderful views and the pebbly beach is only a few yards away.

Review 9：Staff were very good, however the 4 star rating is not appropriate. The place is rundown, plaster and paint falling off. There had been no maintenance done in years. Probably between 2-3 star

Review 10：I am surprised this hotel has a 4 star rating, the hot water was notavailable on arrival, the next morning it took 15 mins running the waterand requests to the staff to get any hot water. The hotel is a littlejaded and needs some tlc. It was early season so no beach or outsidefacilities other than tired chairs and tables.
