This friendly hotel is run by a young couple who are always on hand to share local knowledge and provide tips and recommendations. You have free Wi-Fi access throughout the hotel.

Review 1：Breakfast needed filling up more regularly.
Review 2：20-30 minute walk along the water front to the centre of Malcesine. Lovely restaurants within walking distance. Cute homely atmosphere. Stunning view of the lake. Pool was away from the road so was very private and quiet. Lovely breakfast.

Review 11：I didn't like it that my room did not have a balcony, which wasn't made clear when I made the booking. The main problem with this hotel seems to be the manager who was not a positive presence and needs to be more active in talking to guests and getting feedback.

Review 15：The beds where to old and i sleept like in a hangingmat. We had two separatebeds and the other one was okey. We complained and they did not do anything to support us. Its not acceptable fo a hotel in this priceclass to have poor madrasses. The AC did not work efficient enough.

Review 17：It often feels like the Ryan Air of the hotel world.The owner does the bare minimum. It is clear he does not care about how much you enjoy your stay. There is a difference between "Cheap and cheerful" and "Cheap and your know it, and you'll get nothing more." Panorama is the latter. The owner made me feel very insignificant in email correspondence about shuttle buses and gave one line answers (leaving me none the wiser) and I never found the shuttle area as he didn't bother explaining how it worked. I feel sorry for staff as they are working with limited resources and it must be frustrating for them. (They do care). Bed too short for me and I'm 5 ft 3. Carpet dingy. Note to the owner- your lazy attitude is reflected in your property and whilst your hotel is cheap- that does not give you the right to disrespect people who go on holiday once a year and need a break!!!! Make it better for them. Your carelessness will bite you on the bum in future. Get your act together.
Review 18：The view is astounding. The pool is right at the side of a hill overlooking the marina/beach. The staff are good fun and relaxed. The location is convenient. The breakfast is plentiful but basic brands of everything, as the price would indicate. There were singers at night.

Review 21：Breakfast & coffee were awful, same boring (with low-quality ingredients) English breakfast every day, We had days when we ate just melons in the morning because of this. We also didn't like older personnel which wasn't very friendly and the fact that we were asked to pay the full stay before getting a chance to see the room (no receipt ofcourse for the cash) -this got us in some side-seaview room. A/C seemed to be from last century and did little for our comfort.
Review 22：Hotel has good views over the sea/bay, there is a little to climb from the bus station but not that big a deal. Pool with seaview is very nice and younger personnel is very friendly and helpful. Hotel had a live coverband in the evening which was also nice. Mellieha is a great resort with great people and it's easy to reach everywhere by bus.
Review 23：Me and my partner had booked this hotel as we're both students so was looking for something along the lower end of our budget for our stay in Malta. We arrived late at night and happened to come across a lovely couple also staying at the hotel, as I'm guessing they could tell we were struggling to find our way. as we arrived there was live entertainment and we was pleasantly surprised how nice the lobby was for a budget hotel. Check in was quick and easy and the staff were extremely pleasent! When going to our room we were taken back by how breathtaking the views were! We were lucky enough to be on the 4th(top) floor, even at night it was incredible. The room was basic but very clean. The bathroom also was basic and looked as though it was time for it to be ripped out and upgraded. But nothing that was off putting. We only stayed as bed and breakfast, and breakfast was also better than expected for a budget hotel. The infinity pool was also a mega plus point! Especially during the day as you can see over to Gozo. We really enjoyed our stay here and will definitely be looking to come back! P.s my partner is a massive cat lover, so if you are too you'll be pleasantly surprised

Review 27：i had researched the hotel before booking and it was ideal for what we wanted. In the town with easy access to the beach (a 20min stroll downhill) Quiet location but perfect.

Review 34：My room was really dirty. There was dust on the floor and old plaster inthe balcony door opening area. Plus in the bathroom, the resident beforehad stuck some plastic stuff from bikini (?) on the sink -- and it wasstill there.I had asked and paid for a room with a view. But I got a room at the side of the building. In the previous 3 star I had stayed in on Gozo, I had a table on the balcony, tea-making facilities, a safe, a double room for single usage and a huge bathroom including a bath tub. At Hotel Panarama, I got NONE of these despite only a 10€ difference in the price. On top of this the hotel may have good views of the bay -- but you have the 'Maltese Motorway' running just a few hundred meters from the room. This road connects the ferry traffic with the rest of Malta and is particularly loud on Sundays....
Review 35：The Hotel Panarama offers from it website what looks to be a modernthree star hotel facility. However, this is justbthe outdoor swimmingpool and sitting area -- which is nice.Once you get into your room, it is another story.
Review 36：Admittedly, I booked late and was looking for a good deal in this location. I wasn't expecting too much. However, the mattress on my bed was so worn I had to sleep on top of the duvet and with my head at the other end. The knob on the air-con was broken, so the temperature could not be adjusted. The tv didn't work. I had a window that only opened onto an external stair well, which meant the room was probably cooler than others, but was also stuffy. The shower sometimes was cold, which after coming back from diving with a distinct and deep chill was a further disappointment.

It is close to the centre of Mellieha (but I found the streets confusing and steep - I was wandering a bit dragging my case till I found it). It caters to package tours so it has a comforting range of food but not adventurous.

Review 46：The beds were uncomfortable. The rooms were basic. The water pressure in the shower was weak almost impossible to have a shower. The room was freezing cold and the heating wasn't working. There was only 1 blanket which was torn at the seam. The breakfast was awful. The breakfast dishes and cups were dirty with not much variety.

Review 50：- Corridors are covered by some old and dirty/smelly carpet. - We found stains on sheets, pillow cases and the mattress was broken (it was like sleeping on the floor). - The room was poorly cleaned. - Room had old furnitures that made it look even worst than it was. - Conditioning wasn't working, but the conditioner machine (the biggest machine ever seen) was still there covered by dust. - They replaced the broken conditioner with a fan which was incredibly noisy and powerful at its lowest speed, and couldn't be positioned because the screw was broken. The only option left was sleeping with an hurricane direct on your face. We have been lucky enough not to find terribly hot nights though so we could keep it switched off. - Television was and old 13/14 inches CRT which couldn't be set in stand-by mode because then it would make an ennoying hum noise. Manual switch off was needed...I didn't go to Malta for watching tv but, come on, it's 2014...even in the cheapest hotel in Madrid I found a better LCD. - TV remote controller wasn't working! Visible channels were from Italy and north Africa (I assume by the arabic subtitles) with different levels (almost not-audible to bleeding ears). The problem then was lowering the volume when needed...the button was broken!!!!! See previous point for personal considerations. - I can't say the service wasn't polite, but definately cold and unfriendly. - Breakfast wasn't terrible, but not even good and always the same.
Review 51：Really nice view of Mellieha Bay. Common spaces (dining room, reception, outside...) were quite clean and comfortable (but we never used the pool, which by the way was really small). Free internet in room.

Review 54：The staff were rude and condescendent. I payed for a room 70 euro to seethe sea from my room and it so happens that it was too busy and theygave us one that you couldnt see a thing. Also it smelled really weird,the room seemed clean but afterwards we realized that they just cleanwhat it is apparent to them, the shower dirty, under the bed dirty andso on. Also, breakfast not so good, tasted all plastic, and they didntlet us have it on the courtyard we were obliged to have it in a salonwhen it was sunny and with ocean views. I wouldnt recomend this hotel,too expensive and it is not worth it. Probably if you are above 60 yearsold they will treat you right but for young people terrible.
Review 55：Some of the fixtures were poorly fitted. the food is on a buffet/self serve basis( which is great). The worst thing was that not all the food was covered so flies were landing on it. We were selective about what we ate.

Review 57：Online it said "sea view". I expected to see the beach from the room, but no, you could see it only by going outside, on the balcony and extend my neck to see it. I prefer honesty... The breakfast awful. The only stuff:the cheese and the bread. Coffee horrible... The orchestra was really loud. You couldn't sleep until 23,00 (when it stopped).
Review 58：I liked the wi-fi. It worked quite well. The sheets and the bathroom were very clean.Every day the cleaning lady would make the bed and change the towels. The bed was confy. The view from the pool was really nice. It was quite and relaxing in the rest of the time when the orchestra was not playing.

For persons who are vegeterian or restricted from eating certain meats I suggest different trays and utensil and not near each other. Sausages and bacon we couldnt eat none. Review 76：Considering we were short on budget this hotel passed our expectations. People are very friendly, and when we complained about the matress in 5 minutes we had one new! Breakfast is good considering the money we paid and drinks at breakfast are good too (coffee, milk, tea and juice). The pool are and its view are simply amazing!
Review 77：35-40 yr old Canadian couple just 1 night for wedding was great value 55-70 euro/night dble room end July. Free and ample parking. A bit out of way if no car as up on hill not down by water. Had to run around to find iron and board and wouldn't allow 60 min after checkout but that's fine, they were booked. Room and shower aren't huge but was as expected. Has view over pool and bay, nice! Buffet breakfast was enough entry and selection that I didn't have to eat lunch.

Review 79：Location is good just out of town on the hill overlooking the bay. Pleasant 10 min walk through the church grounds to town with bars restaurants and bus stops. Buses are great. Easy and regular. About 10 mins to the bay.
Review 80：I cannot understand how the owners of the hotel would leave the lift wooden panelling full of scratches when it will be the first thing a tourist sees. It gives a perception of shabbiness. The coffee and cappuccino served at the bar are of very poor quality. The bar near the reception lacks some of the basic refreshments (cisk chill) and it is a bit expensive. The owners should also invest in some more modern equipment such as a bigger TV. Today Tvs have become very cheap to buy. The plumbing in the rooms has to be taken care of and the doors of all rooms are in need of some lacquer finish.

Hotel is situated within walking distance from a very beautiful village, full of excellent restaurants. Also one of the most amazing beaches on the island is within walking distance.
