Il Casale Etrusco, formerly a traditional Tuscan farm, was established in 1997 as a comprehensive hospitality complex, offering 25 apartments in 2 larger buildings and a smaller house.
The apartments surround a small piazza, and have been thoroughly restored and furnished, always respecting Tuscan styles and traditions. The complex boasts a swimming pool and a barbecue area.
Immersed in the heart of Tuscany, Il Casale Etrusco is only 2 miles from the beach and approximately 5 miles from the small town of Bolgheri. The area is famous worldwide for its fantastic wines and olive oil - guided culinary tours are available. Tours of the off-the-beaten-track side of Tuscany, courses in diving for all levels, and visits to cities like Florence and Rome can also be arranged.

Review 1：There was no aircosystem or fan in the whole appartment and it was 38 degrees. Very warm appartment, not enough ventilation. Bathroom very very small, tiny shower with doors that fell into the shower. (bad system) Wifi passwords only for 3 devices per appartment. With four telephones and 4 tablets was that not enough, it was not changable between the devices. Wifi worked only around the reception.
Review 2：The location is quiet, and within 5 or 10 minutes by car we were in the restaurant / shopping / beach area. Great location. The swimmingpool was nice to have. The beds were okay, the appartment was clean. There is enough space for parking near the house.
Review 3：-only wifi in the reception -there were so many musquito's that every evening we had to fight our personal battle against them -the lady at the reception was very unfriendly
Review 4：-locaiton is great and the appartments are beautiful -swimming pools is geat -very nearby Bolgheri which is beautiful and also nearby Cecina beach
Review 5：Aurelia highway is in proximity: the noise is hearable 24h, depending on what side of bilding you are it may be a little annoying or be slightly there. Ground floor rooms are damp that is only revealed by smell. To open the gas valve you have to push in first: some seemed to use instruments to force it. Gas leaks a little so it's recomended to close the valve after use, so we did. The touristic village at high season gets quite crowded, not at night though.
Review 6：Huge well kept rooms, kitchen with everithing you need to cook. Even the oven (electric) is working, for strage I found it's working only the last day of our stay: it has a separate swich on the wall (looks like light switch with power socket) to cut power. Lots of space to dine outside. The pool is clean and not tiny. At reception you get all advice you ask for and ANY request is followed after.
Review 7：There are just few things that disturbed us during our stay and all of them were actually mentioned by previous guest. Sometimes when wind blows one can hear the SS1 road traffic which did not disturb us so much. The noise coming from the kids playing in the pool could be a problem for somebody sleeping long mornings but a solution is to take other house more far away from the pool. One thing which in our case was very unpleasant was the sawage system odour. We lived in the house close to the pool and as mornings as evenings or nights we often had to bear the bad smell.
Review 8：The place is easy to get to and well described from the road. It is few minutes ride from the SS1 main road exit "Donoratico". The Donoratico city offers all you need from post office through pizzeria to supermarket or fresh fish shop. Casale is close to various beaches but I would recommend these a bit more far away from Donoratico like San Vinzenzo, Baratti or Sterpaia national park. More far away Punta Ala, Caia Violina or Cd.Pescaia. Around Casale you will find great mediaeval places to visit (5 minutes away like Casagnetto Carducci, 10 minutes away like Bolgheri, 15 minutes away like Campiglia Marittima etc. etc...........). The Casale Etrusco is clean and very well maintained. You feel like on holidays all the time and can enjoy spending time over there. It is featured in typical toskanian style which one can enjoy for hours. Swiming pool is just right for the place although could be bigger. The land is big enough for kids to play around and run. There are more then enough parking places.
Review 9：No AC - it was cooking hot in the apartment, we were not shown how to turn on the warm water so thought there was only cold water. You can hear the neighbours talking loudly until after midnight. There was no lighter to light the gas, so not possible to make coffee in the morning. The fridge wasn't cold, and was broken.

Review 14：- Freeway close to the place (500 m max so you hear cars all time). Autoroute pres de l'etablissement (500 m max) donc on entend le bruit des voitures tout le temps. - No air conditio so due to the weather you have to sleep windows open and with the freeway close to it , I let you imagine... Pas de clim et vu la chaleur il faut dormir les fenetres ouvertes et donc vu que l'autoroute est a cote on entend le bruit des voitures toute la nuit... Staff not frienly. Personnel pas agreable. Rapport qualite prix tres insuffisant, 1100 euros la semaine pour 4/6 personnes... Price / Satisfaction too low with 1100 euros the week for 4/6 people The Staff took directly the money from the card I used on booking the day after I arrived when I wanted to pay at the end with another credit card... Le personnel a preleve directement la carte utilisee pour faire la reservation sur Booking le 2 eme jour apres mon arrivee alors que je voulais payer avec une autre carte de paiement...
Review 15：- a 3.5 km de la mer -joli paysage a cote. S'il n'y avait pas l'autoroute a cote le prix serait ok. @ 3.5 km from the sea. If the freeway was not close to the place, price would be ok.
Review 16：Very good, clean place with nice facilities. Perfectly situated between Bolgheri and Castagneto Carducci, nice tuscan villages. Fast entrance to Highway.
