Reviews for Park Hotel Netanya
Review 1:The place is has a rundown look to it in general, but the rooms we stayed in were redone recently and we appreciated that. It was clean enough.
Review 2:Can't beat the Location. Great price and value and clean enough.
Review 3:I read that the hotel had "free public parking at a location nearby". It didn't say that on the right side of the small parking lot next to Park hotel there is free parking, but on the left side you have to pay. I parked on the left side on arrival, and found TWO parking tickets when I was going for a drive the next day. I mentioned this in the reception, and they said there was a sign, but the only signs in the area are in Hebrew, and as far as I could see, there isn't one, neither in Hebrew nor in English, saying that the 10-15 parking spaces to the right are reserved for guests at the Park hotel - not very tourist friendly. Very annoying to get not just one, but two tickets the very first day of our vacation!
Review 4:Building needs more attention - internal doors need mending, bathroom tap leaks, TV unreliable, exterior of building needs refurbishment.
Review 5:Convenient, welcoming, pleasant, constant availability of hot drinks (but why no milk?) and cold water.
Review 6:Staff not very pleasant, breakfast was poor quality, WiFi not very good in rooms. Public areas need refurbishing.
Review 7:Excellent location and balcony with sea view
Review 8:Smoking in rooms was which severe problem ans sickening. Corridors and staircase old and dirty. Lifts old. Smoke and perfume smells through vents caused me to feel sick.
Review 9:Entry foyer is very nice and inviting but once you reach the lifts and corridors it is a real let down. The upgraded rooms with balconies are great and the view superb.
Review 10:I did not think breakfast was good at all. There was very little variety of food and some of it was not fresh.
Review 11:I really liked that the room was big enough to fit 4 adults. It was very spacious and comfortable. The closeness to the beach is also a huge plus!
Review 12:If you are driving make sure you look up to see the only sign. We drovearound 3x before figuring it out. Hotel staff is very much like thecenter resturants staffs. Not rude, but not very happy people.
Review 13:. When you get past the sign issue, staff, nonexistent workout room and empty vending machines or the ability to purchase water. The premium rooms are excellent. The location is superior. Breakfast was as good as our Jerusalem hotel that cost twice as much. Glad we learned of their 2001 history after we checked out.
Review 14:Booked this hotel because thought shabbat meals available. Only Friday evening was however, and it was very dissappointing and priced like other places where food is better. Cannot recommend this aspect.
Review 15:Wonderful location. Each room has a balcony view of the sea!
Review 16:Worst than a std Motel! No washcloths! Sign looks like it's been bombed!! Not real clean. Has an employee that looks like a bouncer and, never smiles and is completely unfriendly. Front desk is falling apart. Someone helped themselves to part of my food and the wood floors were not clean. Terrible place! Dilapidatedj, , lousy service...no bellboy, extremely understaffed!
Review 17:the evening front deskmano, Alon, was very cheerful tried to be accommodating
Review 18:The hotel needs sprucing up. It could use new carpets, and the pool area needs new chairs and the replacement of missing tiles. The hotel did not have any place to store my camera or laptop. There was no safe for this in the room or at at reception. The room was missing an electric kettle to heat up water for tea or coffee.
Review 19:Location was perfect. It was on the Promenade with a view of the beach and a balcony. English speaking synagogue a few blocks away. Two good restaurants were a few minutes walking from the hotel. Independence Square, the main hub of Netanya with restaurants and cafes was two blocks away. The staff was helpful. We were in the renovated section. The beds were very comfortable. There was a lot of space to store clothes. The swimming pool was nice to swim in. Breakfast was adequate with a wonderful cappuccino machine to make as many cups as one wanted.
Review 20:Terrible lifts - slow and shaky, delapidated; stairwells, public areas - neglected. No wifi in rooms. Expensive for what you get as overall impression.
Review 21:Free wifi in public areas. Rooms have been renovated and bathrooms modernised, but even the bonus extra room was small. Nice view and balcony. Staff OK.
Review 22:dirty floors and carpets, holes in the room walls, scary elevator, no babybed in the room although it was confirmed beforehand, dangerous electric sockets hanging out of the wall etc.
Review 23:directly in the city center, free parking
Review 24:Hotel needs a facelift. The bedroom was okay but the hallways and foyer really needed an upgrade Breakfast could be improved. Hot food was not hot.
Review 25:Position of the hotel was good - near the central square and beach.
Review 26:They close main entrance in the evening. We used handicapped entrance from main level and my relative felt, because there is a small step that not visible It should be a warning(barrier) between main and handicapped levels.
Review 27:Excellent location, very friendly and helpful staff, very clean, good breakfast.
Review 28:Hallways can do with renovating. One of the security guards were very rude and intimidating.
Review 29:The sea view. Staff helpful. Room clean. Swimming pool.
Review 30:The slow lifts, the common parts need a facelift, and the breakfast area needs an additional and updated coffee machine.
Review 31:The location near the sea and the town centre, the hotel's swimming pool, the friendly staff, the excellent bedroom with its free WiFi, TV and sea-view balcony, the lovely Israeli breakfast.
Review 32:Lift was small and stuffy - No way you'll fit a double stroller/buggy inside, and took ages to arrive Breakfast was way below average Israeli standards
Review 33:Location Pool
Review 34:Staff and attitudes. Facilities well below standard Check in resembled a prison camp rather than a hotel if everything else in Netanya was full I suggest you try the beach before the Park Hotel a most unfriendly lot who struggle to speak English or Hebrew!

Review 73:The building needs an overhaul. Minor things can be improved very easily, e.g. better and more cutlery for breakfast.
Review 74:The hotel is not luxurious but quite acceptable. The pool is a great plus. We appreciated the constant availability of hot drinks.
Review 75:The physical condition of the hotel is very poor. While the rooms were adequate, the external building looks like collapse is imminent.
Review 76:Location to beach and crntral pedestrian area is excellent.
Review 77:Entrance and lobby had minimal cheap furniture and reminded me of a waiting room. Small Bedroom stank of bleach. Corridors needed decorating and carpets needed replacing. Restaurant food was unappetising and equipment was dirty. Booked for a week but left after three days.
Review 78:The location and view
Review 79:Public areas of hotel appear rundown and shabby (in contrast to the rooms, which are clean and comfortable). Hotel was a little hard to locate, signage not immediately apparent from street level.

Review 84:Location very convenient for main beach area and close to main shopping street. Excellent view of sea and beach from good sized balcony and good sized modern room. Superb Israel buffet breakfast; lots of choice; salads, omelette, cheese, galvanised, cake, fruit, fresh coffee etc.
Review 85:There were no controls for the A/C except an off/on switch.
Review 86:The staff was courteous especially the kitchen staff. We were unavoidably delayed for breakfast and the staff was very patient with us.
Review 87:The hotel is very very bad. Furniture is very old and dirty. Rooms are very small and the bathroom is clean.Lanes very dirty and musty smelling. The restaurant is clean and the food taste bad.Rickety equipment.Stay in this hotel spoiled on the trip.I regret staying at this hotel., And I would not recommend one.Hart hotel for the fall and is not fit for habitation. The price is very expensive and not worth it.I was thinking of cancellation when I saw the hotel.Does not deserve to be on booking.com. it is the worst hotel in netanya.
Review 88:Dirty pool Shabby beds Moisture and mildew smell in room and bathroom Rotten carpets in hallways Poor condition of the hotel
Review 89:Pool available Breakfast buffet
Review 90:The pool area is poor and the water was not clean with tiles missing on the bottom. No shower by pool. Broken chairs Bathroom was not great. No plug in sink or bath. Towels very small. Not good shower in bath. Wifi in lobby did not work for several days on arrival. Then refurbishment started and was noisy and dusty. Could not get an outside line to phone from room. When offered in lobby, too noisy to speak.
Review 91:Location and view from the room Breakfast was good and plentiful
Review 92:A day before our leaving they started a reapiring in a hall, so it was dirty and noisy.
Review 93:A nice location close to the beach and center of the city, friendly personel, every day cleaning, breakfasts.
Review 94:The hotel building i more than 35 yrs old. The bank evaluators value a new building and certifies only to 40 yrs . .
Review 95:The hotel is old need some rennovation but value for money. Breath taking view . Friendly staff breakfast's is not bad and everything is close
Review 96:lobby and hallways very outdated-need renovation. breakfast not very tasty. Also, it took them 3 tries to get us a room-first try, there were people in it! 2nd try, the lock on the door wouldnt work. 3rd try worked!

Review 108:Location and the view from the room
Review 109:Internet didn't work. Old fashion.
Review 110:Amazing location right in coty center with beautiful waterfront views. Newly renovated rooms and with some still being renovated. Was an old fashion hotel with a few facilities lacking, but a clean, great, 3 star type hotel if you want to be right in the middle of the beachfront and city center.
