Review 1：A suggestion for improvement would be.....Although room floors and furniture are clean, they could use a thorough cleaning. (When we were looking for a dropped earring we found dust and cobwebs in corners). This was not a detriment to our overall experience, BUT, This attention to detail would make it a perfect 10. It is still a lovely Cernobbio place to stay and we would return.

Review 4：We had a great stay at Trattoria Albergo la Vignetta. Just 5 mins from the Cennobio ferry and lots of restaurants nearby, the staff were fabulous and chef Thomas produced really delicious food. the rooms were a bit dated but comfortable and clean,agreat place to stay.

Review 10：The food, it was terrible, afterwards our stomach ached. The fisch was dried out and old, the rest came from the freezer. We didn't eat the first course because it was not eatable, but had to pay it anyway. How does this hotel come to an average rate of 8,2??? Price much to high, the hotel reminded us of the bad little hotels in Paris when we were students and couldn't aford higher prices.

Review 14：Location was about 10 minute walk to Cernobbio center. Local buses were useless getting to & from Como (obviously not hotel's fault) - needed taxis (20 EUR each way). Dinner 85 EUR for 2 adults 2 kids for gourmet 2 course dinner with small wine.

Review 16：Not that easy to find as entrance up very narrow road not well signposted. Limited parking on site so could be difficult but not a problem during our stay. Wifi didn't work in room which was annoying.

Review 18：It is an old villa, so you will not find many things which you can normally find in nowadays hotels, like TV, phone or water heater. You will find there old furniture, old tiles, squeaky floors and stairs etc. Free wifi is available, but the signal is very poor.
Review 19：The facility is actually an old villa with few separate rooms with bathroom. The major advantages of the hotel are: its location, free parking lot and friendly staff. Our room had a balcony, which we used very often, but not all rooms have one. Our room was very quiet too. The family, who runs the hotel, was very considerate regarding special requests we had for (vegetarian) breakfast.
Review 20：The prices for our stay were really out of line for the accommodations. This was the car show weekend and all hotels jack up prices based on increased demand. But what we paid was excessive; almost triple normal rates.
Review 21：Staff/owners are very friendly and responsive to guests. Great family oriented hotel. The restaurant is a nice setting and the food is well prepared and very good. On site parking was a big plus and we were able to walk to all the events.
Review 22：This hotel oozes charm, it is a typical "old style" hotel.Located about 100 meters from the lakes shore it offers basic but clean and tidy rooms. The breakfast is a typical Italian fare, and parking onsite is an added benefit. You must dine in at restaurant, the service and food are a highlite.

Review 25：Location: middle of hill, difficult to reach by car or on foot. No view from the window. Room: very basic small room without TV, phone, mineral water, etc. wifi is very weak at 2nd floor. The family of hostess left hotel just 20 mins after we arrived. They told us that they just went out for family dinner and should come back before midnight. We were dispointed because we came there mainly for their good reputated family-running restaurant. The whole hotel was empty except my family. We can't find hot water to prepare the milk of my son, the Wifi was weak, no drinks... In fact, we knew from the lady who came to hotel to prepare the breakfast for us, that the hostess family left for 15 days of holiday. I suddenly understood why the hostess 'forgot' to return our passports to us... It's the worst and most expensive hotel for our trip in Italy. It's totally not worth my 110€ for the new year night.

Review 40：Was in Cernobbio for a wedding. Most of the suggested hotels were incredibly pricey. This was the cheapest of the lot and was absolutely great. The view from out room on both sides was spectacular and the young couple who own the place were incredibly friendly and helpful. We had an en suite bathroom and the bed was comfortable and clean. Definitely recommend a visit.

The owners, Tommaso & Danielle, are a terrific husband & wife team who have assembled a superb staff presenting a hotel well beyond their One Star rating. Their restaurant is first rate with terrific food & great service. Their menu is varied & complete. The homemade smoked salmon & the mussels stew are not to be missed. Our room was small but immaculate along with new bathroom fixtures to enhance the experience. The nearby sights are beautiful & the boat trip up Lake Como to Bellagio was memorable as was Bellagio itself. The personal touches were several & appreciated. Hated to leave this delightful spot !

Review 45：The location of this hotel is quite central to the town and therefore a good choice. However,it is quite a steep climb back through narrow streets. As there is a bar downstairs there is some noise which might disturb you, particularly towards the weekend.

Owners Tomaso and Danilele could not have been more gracious and helpful and staff person Julia went out of her way to find some local tennis possibilities! Since I was traveling alone, I had an immaculate and cozy small room with single bed - I live near New Bedford, MA and was pleased to see a copy of 'Moby Dick' on the bookshelf! Enjoyed a couple of satisfying meals from their kitchen, besides the excellent provided breakfast. The fact that it's a little off the village center I think is a plus, as it was very quiet at night. The village of Cernobbio itself is both lively and charming, offering surprising shopping, including a RARE well-equipped hardware store, and live jazz and street fairs right by the ferry stop. A wide range of dining options would satisfy any taste.

Review 53：Wi Fi in bedroom was non existent ....you had to go to the reception area. The bedroom had no aircon although a substantial ceiling fan. If you going to spend some time in the hotel you need to take some books there are no televisions in the guest house....this probably the biggest dislike.
Review 54：The Guest House is within 5 minutes of the centre although up a fairly steep road. Breakfast was basic but good with a selection of meats, cheese, egg, rolls juice and coffee. Bedroom was good size and bathroom fine with powerful shower. If you have evening meal the menu is limited a bit pricey but food good. Staff friendly and helpful.

But for some people some missing things can be important (like having no TV on the beedroom), and depending on the room it can be a little bit noisy if you want to sleep before the closure of the restaurant. In any case, these are not reasons to avoid recommending this place.

Review 114：Can be a bit noisy if you want an early night, mainly because of the restaurant outside and children running around.But you sleep late during the night is ok. Wifi connection is weak or not available all the time, so they should improve that.
