Review 1：If you want views of lake Como this is not the hotel for you but that is reflected in the price and the hotel is only a few minutes walk away.

Review 2：Stayed for dinner, which was exceptional with a very good selection of wines. The room was quite large with a little balcony, warmly heated. Very clean bathroom Offered excellent coffee.

Review 3：Charming staff welcomed us to this perfectly situated old fashioned Italian Hotel. The hotel is in a great location with parking and a garden. The breakfast was lovely.

When we asked for a local map of Como, they don't have any! when we asked a blanket for cold night, it didn't come until next afternoon when I phoned again to request... definitely under-staffed hotel!

Review 12：What a wonderful hotel. We stayed with our dog, Lucca, and were made to feel welcome and special by the owner and all the staff. We cannot speak highly enough of the hotel and have recommended it to many of our friends.

Review 13：We were locked out of the hotel and had to sleep in our car!!! Aftergetting back from a wedding at 4am, we had the nice surprise of beinglocked out of the hotel... The staff forgot to mention to us that doorswere closed after a certain hour and that we were supposed to callsomeone to open the main door... In the night we did not see the notewith the telephone number (still don't know where this note was...)and the person who was supposed to be on duty did not wake up! And wehad to pay 20% of the room for the night we spent in our car because ofthe fees of booking.com apparently...SO DO NOT GO THERE IF YOU PLAN TO GO OUT AND RETURN AFTER MIDNIGHT...

Review 98：The restaurant was excellent for dinner, some reviews we had read prior to arriving mentioned the high price. It is certainly not a cheap option however I think that these people missed the point in that it is effectively a fine dining restaurant with both the food and service exceptional. The location is excellent being quiet and only a few minutes walk to the pier for the lake boats.

Review 99：Unfortunately we did not spent even several hours in the hotel, because after coming back from the dinner we discovered a lot of ants in the room (bathroom, room itself, several of them were also on the bed). We had to move to another hotel.

Review 104：Our room was in the oldest section of the hotel and had the original narrow french doors with a split down the middle allowing for passage of light, noise and possible visibility. It didn't worry us - just added to the character - but could be a concern for some.

Review 105：We had a lovely newly decorated room with a spacious bathroom and a balcony (as requested in our booking) with views to the mountains. This was in the price range of a standard double room and looked much nicer than the one on the website. The staff member who greeted us took time to explain features of heating, t.v. and wifi and showed us the breakfast room (also the hotel restaurant). The breakfast had an abundant variety of sweet and savoury options. We were leaving Italy from Milan late the next evening so we took full advantage of their late checkout (12pm) and had no problem leaving our car parked in the hotel grounds for the day while we took the ferry to Como to make the most of the last hours of our holiday enjoying the glorious Lake scenery and Spring sunshine.

Review 112：We spent ten days in Switzerland and Italy and this hotel was by far our favorite. The owner Sergio and his staff - Veronica, Alisa, Mateo and all made for an exceptional visit in Como. The room was very comfortable and quiet. The atmosphere of this older building set into the hillside made for an "Italian" experience. The dinning room gives a feel of early century Italia and the food was superb - especially the risotto! We were definitely off season - the weather was chilly - but Chernobbia - on the north shore - is a great little town - short boat ride to Como - to stage your visit here. We might have to return to Italy next year for business and will make it a point to revisit Terzo Crotto! Prego! You gave us a great vacation memory!
