In a panoramic position half a mile from Lake Como, Cernobbio's Hotel Asnigo is an Art Nouveau building with a swimming pool. All the rooms include a satellite TV.
Each room is well-furnished and equipped with air conditioning. Some rooms also have a balcony. Free Wi-Fi is available in the lobby, where you can also rent a bike for free.
The Terrace Restaurant has a magnificent view of the romantic promontory of Cernobbio. It is open for dinner, and serves local dishes, international specialties, and vegetarian menus. Breakfast is a varied buffet.
In the park surrounding the Asnigo, there is a lovely track leading to Cernobbio village. The hotel is 2 miles from the Como Nord exit of the A9 Autostrada dei Laghi highway, and a 15-minute drive from Como.

Review 20：We received a room that looked like a bunker with a small window facing the parking lot, for more than 170 euro/night. We didn't even fit in the shower, because it was so small (and we are not big at all) . There are no photos of this room on the website, otherwise no one would book this hotel. We asked for an upgrade with a bigger window, (add 30 euros/night ). However, after we decided to stay in this room a big ventilator below our window was making so much noise every 10 minutes, so we could not enjoy our view at all. We cancelled our 8 nights, we wished ourselves a more pleasant stay. Our advise: do not go to this hotel.

Review 49：The view from the hotel in fantastic. The road to the hotel is narrow but the view definitely worth it. You can walk by foot until the lake in about 30 minutes relaxed walk. The hotel was clean, the breakfast was very very good and the personal was nice. We had a room with partial lake view and it was nice to open the window and view the panorama, but it can be seen from the terrace too, so it's your choice :)

Whilst it us only a short distance from the waterside you must bear in mind that the 0.9mile distance does not appear much on the map however it is quite a steep walk!

Parking - you have a choice of free parking or paid parking and both options are good. Just a great place to stay in the area and I would recommend anyone to skip staying in Como and coming up the hill (if you have a car)!

Review 78：We loved our stay in Hotel Asnigo. The location is perfect. The views amazing. We have a toddler and the pool was the perfect place for her. We would go twice a day. The staff speaks English really well and were always so accommodating with requests. One of them even went out of his way to write step by step directions for my fiance to go to one of the local golf courses. My daughter was always running around getting into things and they were all more than patient with her. The free continental breakfast was good and welcomed. The local restaurants within walkable distance were great. The hotel could use a bit of an upgrade in some areas but it's not horrible. Also the rooms with the balconies are the best if you can upgrade do it. We would and will go back and stay at Asnigo. To the staff we want to say thank you!!
