Review 1：first impression at reception is poor ,were received by an old woman not really welcoming (the next person was nice) poor wifi :( room with mountain view are facing a really noisy crowded road .... room was not cleaned and only after I chasing the cleaning lady I received new towels.

Review 14：We have been disappointed by the restaurant "the last hall". the service was not at the right level, the food was not at the right level either. As a consequence, the dinning experience and value for money weren't there.

Review 15：First the fantastic location along the lake, secondly the overall comfort of the hotel (rooms, reception, restaurants, bar, swimming poolS,...) and after the kindness and professionalism of the staff, the evening activities, the special dinner on Aug 15th, the breakfast, the cleanliness, the ambiance, the decoration, the style and many other elements that make this hotel a true place of hospitality. Without speaking about unforgettable aperitivo time at the terrace... Highly recommended.

Review 16：we had booked a mountain view room.....supposedly. It faced a wall! being tall we could just see mountains above it. As we were only staying four nights I didn't ask to move but it was very disappointing. however it was also very quiet.

Review 17：The hotel was wonderful with its situation right on the lake. The pools were lovely, clean and large. the breakfast was 16 euros and well worth it. the staff on the wbole were very helpful.

Review 19：We stayed for 9 days and enjoyed the whole experince. The location, the views, the cleanliness and very friendly staff. Being next to the boat terminal was great. Baveno is a good place from which to enjoy Lake Maggiore and a short transfer too from Milan Malpensa.

Nothing in Grand Dino ! Here, as usually, in a 4-stars hotel, the mini bar is over priced.

Asked for new room, forced to take a new room on lake side for double the cost (because no aircon and needed some air). Finally bedbugs. Covered in bites. Another finally ... hotel bill thrown at us on check out, no thank you, no, how was your stay.

Review 54：-Internet facilities from the Stone Age. The hotels I normally stay in offer free wifi, here you get 2 hours for complete duration of your stay. -Lack of service outside. When sitting in the garden next to the pool there is nobody to serve. If you want an espresso or anything you have to walk through the lobby to the bar and get it yourself. Didn't expect that from a Grand hotel.

Review 70：The breakfast is a rather disappointing experience in terms of quality (it would benefit from inclusion of regional products), offer and standards (the pancakes were neither French crepes, nor American pancakes but a sweet sponge cake). The fresh orange juice and fruit cakes were nice enough. For holidays, or weekends, having breakfast from 8 to 10am is a bit spartan. A lot of thought has gone into the design of the second restaurant, which unfortunately does not match the food. You will be better off trying one of the three imaginative restaurants in town.

Review 71：The location is unbeatable. The gardens, the facilities (pools, spa center) and the overall atmosphere of the hotel are lovely. The rooms are large, well ventilated and nicely decorated. The gallery is a nice surprise. The staff at reception desk (as well as cleaning ladies) is welcoming, efficient and professional. The same cannot be said about the waiters.

Review 72：Very expensive everything you want to buy there. Internet is a properrip off (eur 5 for 1 hour), breakfast is eur 25! We ordered 2 drinks andsome olives one evening and got a massive plate of food (little bites).We had to send it back as I can't have any gluten and anyway had adinner reservation somewhere but the waiter insisted to bring somethingfor us. That was too much and made us feel uncomfortable. Orange juiceeur 6 and not 100% as tasted a lot of water in it. Shame as overall anice place.
