Reviews for Mizpe Yam Hotel
Review 1:Breakfast was pretty average, bread was stale. Price pretty standard for Israel but overpriced compared to other countries. Parking is on street and can be difficult to find!
Review 2:Staff at reception friendly.
Review 3:Difficult to lug bags up the stairs (definitely travel light if you are coming here) and the elevator only goes from the first to the third floor. You have to walk up an outside flight of stairs to the lobby and then a few more stairs to reach the elevator though. Also, the elevator stops above the third floor so there are a few more stairs to take anyway! (Definitely not accessible). The rooms could be cleaner. We had a jaccuzi bath in the room, but the jets were dirty. The room was also extremely small. My husband barely fit through the door to the bathroom (he had to enter sideways!)
Review 4:Great location-walking distance from the beach.
Review 5:This was a great value for what I needed. I'm not one who needs all the luxuries of home so it met my needs. Pricing and location were great since it was just a short walk to anything I might have wanted and also very close to the beach.
Review 6:NO PARKING!
Review 7:The hotel does not have a view of the beach as is shown on one of the pictures, however, it very close to the beach and close to the square! The staff is great, the owner was very helpful. Parking is a problem!! Overall out visit was very nice
Review 8:Could have been a bit cleaner. And the rooms could use a makeover. I've had much nicer rooms for the same money.
Review 9:Friendly personel at the reception
Review 10:the towels were partly frayed. the breakfast was not fresh. There was not somebody for the breakfast in the restaurant.. The elevator stop is between two floors. That is not convenient with luggage.
Review 11:Room was a little small and basic... no kettle or microwave, just a small refrigerator... no beach view.
Review 12:Nice location, quite a short distance from the beach and from the central square... staff very friendly... bed was comfortable.
Review 13:I liked everything at hotel as the value matched the price. Small complaint was that I would like to see the front desk personnel smile a little more.
Review 14:Very comfortable and I would stay their again.
Review 15:The bedrooms are too small and could do with refurbishment. There is no place for luggage. So hard to relax in really for sleeping only. Parking is on the street very limited.
Review 16:Location is amazing, close to Beach and restaurants. Staff are helpful and friendly. Breakfasts are fine. We had an early start for airport and receptionist gave us picnic breakfast. Towels provided for beach. Coffee machine in breakfast room and free WiFi
Review 17:The rude arrogant manager The rude recetionist The fact the parking is not as advetised The room was so small it was outrageous
Review 18:The wifi The maids were very pleasant
Review 19:No parking. No tea/coffee making facilities in room,so one has to go all the way downstairs to get a drink. Narrow stairs up to the lift on each floor was quite hard to negotiate with big cases. Tiny room, with no space to move. Very noisy road. Didn't enjoy breakfast at all. All in all, quite overpriced.
Review 20:Five minute walk to the beach, staff were friendly, air con was best in Israel.
Review 21:Tiny room and location in old part of Netanya. Everything closed on Friday evening which was a shame and no choices for restaurants. Very dirty streets and hotel is more of a one star
Review 22:Breakfast was good
Review 23:Everything was awful
Review 24:The room was dirty the bedding hadn't been changed once in the week I stayed there the air con was constantly dripping I had to use a towel and a bin to stop the noise the bathroom was filthy and had a smell of sewage
Review 25:Like a hole in the wall. The room was so small. Inconvenient for those with big luggages -- even if using the elevator, there is a need to use the stairs. Not a boutique hotel at all.
Review 26:Basic amenities, clean rooms and surroundings, good breakfast, 24 hour coffee.
Review 27:Only Nescafé for breakfast ? Maybe an accident only but "real coffee" would be certaily much appreciated :)
Review 28:Friendliness of staff, sunroof, comfy beds, location
Review 29:smell in room but it is an older facility so somewhat understandable
Review 30:Location to promenade, beach and centre square of restaurants and shops was perfect.
Review 31:Since all food was Kosher, the variety for me was limited. The food though was still nice. I had a bad experience however one morning when I requested one of the kitchen staff to flip my baked eggs. She flipped and refused point blank. Needless to say I went hungry that day. One of the receptionists, Tanya is her name, tried to remedy the situation, to no avail.Kitchen staff seems to be low on friendlyness. Sort out these niggly things and Mizpe Yam is great.
Review 32:I liked the fact that we could have coffee or tea on tap( 24/7 if you like). and of course free WI-FI. Connectivity was excellent. The manager was very helpful.
Review 33:No lobby access to Elevator One has to climb a short flight of stairs to gain access
Review 34:Location to Beaches Very comfortable Nice price Free WiFi and
Review 35:Pour standard on the room, poor breakfast, the elevator was not built to fit the floors, you had to walk in stairs with suitcases. The room was too expensive compared to the standard. Cannot recommend this hotel.
Review 36:Good location, it was quite close to the beach
Review 37:It's incorrectly described as " Boutique". It's a good 3 Star property at best. The descriptions of the property can mislead.
Review 38:Close to the shopping district of Netanya, and the beech. The breakfast is typical Israeli, with boiled eggs and toast the only other option.
Review 39:There was a strange cheese at the breakfast with cheese blended in, and it was totally gross. Aside from that, there is not much of a sea view aside from the roof. We thought there would be dinners, but there was only breakfast.
Review 40:The hotel was very clean, very nice. The staff were friendly and helpful, free breakfasts were included. We walked to the beach and the boardwalk (about three blocks) and did a lot of sleeping over our two nights. We ordered takeout from a nearby restaurant and it was delivered in ten minutes. We spent time reading in the sun on the roof, it was nice and quiet. The room had a safe and a fridge, and we brought food for the weekend.
Review 41:Nice Little place vith a very cosy atmosphere. The owner is very friendly and the staff very nice, the room service is super, always very clean. I will be back at this place Again and again
Review 42:A televízió nem volt tökéletes,széteső képek. Az asztalnál jó lenne egy konnektor, a laptophoz, vagy telefontöltőhöz.
Review 43:Minden jó volt. A reggeli kiváló. A tetőterasz egyedülálló,kényelmes,jó kilátás.
Review 44:Breakfast could have been more diverse; got old after a few days. Was certainly adaquate, however.
Review 45:Good value for money. Staff helpful with arrangements and refunded last night when plans changed.
Review 46:Elevator only goes to 3rd floor, had to lug a few things up the stairs but not a big deal.
Review 47:The breakfast included was nice and had lots of variety. Room was small but adequate. Nice hot showers and close to downtown and beach. Great lacation!
Review 48:Room a little bit smelled from previous guests, because they were smoking inside of the room.
Review 49:Staff is very friendly and helpful. Location is very good, and their breakfast is very good.
Review 50:We were very happy with the over all friendliness of the staff. The room was very comfortable and the breakfast was excellent. The location was just right with easy access to the centre of Natanya and the beach. We will have no problem staying here again when we come next year
Review 51:Noise of the air conditioner equipment from the outside wall was a constant disturbance, specially at night. Lack of hooks in the bathroom and even the room created inconveniences for hanging clothes.
Review 52:Staff friendly, Internet good, breakfast good, location convenient for our purpose.
Review 53:Cooked eggs cold. Suggest the introduction of a hotplate with a time switch for Shabbat and Festivals so that scrambled eggs/shakshuka or whatever can remain hot.
Review 54:Reception received when we booked in. Cleanliness. Festival dinner - very good. Quiet location. Close to beach and restaurants.
Review 55:Clean, comfortable hotel, located about 5 minutes walk from the beach and main square. The hotel staff were helpful and friendly - we arrived very late and had a good welcome. They were happy to help with queries, text bookings etc. The room was a good size, clean and tidy. We were lucky to have a balcony which was nice, and there is a roof garden for guests to enjoy. Parking is available on the road outside and we had no problems finding a space. his was a great base for our stay - it isn't luxury but is excellent value for money and everything you would need!
Review 56:Room was very cramped. Elevator stopped between floors requiring a lot of extra dragging luggage around. Not very close to Herzl Street with restaurants and shopping.
Review 57:The breakfast.
Review 58:Initially the room wasn't suitable due to a noisy extractor fan outside the window, but they changed it the next day. However, if you look at most of the buildings they too have the same mode of air conditioning.
Review 59:Coffee, Tea, water available 24 hrs.Safe in he room. Friendly staff ( who would find you an ironing board at a moments notice.)The roof terrace was lovely and we spent late evenings sipping coffee and listening to the sea.
Review 60:Tiny rooms with about no space for moving around. One folding chair, tiny bed stands and table. Too far from shopping and eating. Too far from beach. Tiny elevator stops between floors. Very overpriced.
Review 61:Helpful staff. Pleasant breakfast.
Review 62:Room too small like a cupboard. Fan Air conditioning too noisy and poor controls.Free parking is in the street if and when you can fine a space. Lift small and only goes up to the third floor. stairs to the higher floors.

Review 65:Cordial reception; clean premises, clean and functional room, basic but satisfying breakfast. An excellent value and location.
