Review 1：Before arriving, I sent an email to the hotel asking whether they can arrange a sea view room for us, to which they responded very positively. Upon arrival, we were led to a room on a pool level with no sea view. The window opened up to the terrace and for security reason, we couldn't keep it open at night. We queried the receptionist and were replied that they didn't have any sea view room at this hotel?!!! Also, there was no ventilation in the toilet and hence it always felt stuffy and damp in the room. And sadly, the staff didn't bother asking how we felt throughout our stay.

Review 8：Great location, friendly staff, clean and big rooms. We booked a Superior Double Room and everything was like in the photos: spacious room, renewed bathroom eith marble, sea view terrace.

She said by bus, butdidn't tell us where we could purchase our bus tickets.When we arrived at the hotel I said I wanted to pay in cash and the guy said that's fine we can sort this out the next morning at check out. Tommorow came and it had been taken out my account already.

Review 10：The pool area was fabulous. The viewing from the pool was beautiful,surrounded by the view of stunning mykonos. We stayed in the newer partof the hotel. Duck egg loungers in our room with gorgeous airy feel. Theman who works at the pool wears a white outfit, he is so lovely. Fabstay.Situated on a hill so the views from the rooms are out of thisworld. Went with a friend. Both in our 20's .

Review 11：The wifi in our room, lower down and nearer the rear of the building, was unreliable. Like many places, single beds were pulled together to make a double. There are real double beds in the hotel though, so make sure you ask ahead but beware that the room size could be smaller.

Review 12：Very friendly staff, well-located if you want off the beaten track. Well laid out pool and bar area. Inland views and fairly close to bus-stops, a couple of general stores and the beachside restaurants. Really good value compared to the other side of the road where the higher priced luxury hotels are located.

Review 21：The property by itself is very pretty but certain basic things are lacking. 1. No Iron available even on a sharing basis in the hotel. 2. Breakfast was average. 3. Reception is not aware on what the calling rates are within Mykonos. I was told that I have to make the call first and than they will let me know on what the cost per minute would be. Strange since I wanted to call a local myknonos number. 4. No information available at the reception on what/where to visit. 5. I wanted to rent a car/ATV and fortunately it didn't work out. I got a signifincatly cheaper deal outside the hotel for a 2 day smart car rental. 6. The shower is oddly positioned and can only be used by hand. 7. No drying racks, sparsly furnished rooms. 8. Wifi very weak but this seems to be standard across the small island of Mykonos. All of the above are simple fixes and I therefore conclude that the property is good but is run very poorly. The staff and by staff I mean the bus driver, housekeeping, restaurant waiters etc were very friendly. I however found the concierge to be totally useless and not helpful at all.

Review 22：Pretty property near the beach, bus stop, and other small stores. Parking facilities available and partial view of the beach from the room. Airport transfer available at a reasonable price. Location is good but everyone rents a car/ATV in myknonos if you want to travel around extensively. I am not sure on why everyone is rating this hotel very high since it seems average (or slightly above average) to me in all measurable aspects.

Review 23：I think the only thing is that the breakfast needs to be improved and made more varied. The bacon and scrambled eggs were always cold. I asked for a fried egg one morning and was charged for it!

Review 29：Stayed five nights with two rooms, the triple room was very large with patio and the other was a double room with patio view of the pool. Rooms were clean and beds comfortable although on the hard side. The pool area was wonderful with a bar and lots of lounge chairs. Pool was very nice to swim in. Staff were very friendly. We used the hotel shuttle to pick us up and drop us off at the port. There were five of us with large suitcases so it was very good to have this service. It is not free but the cost is minimal per person.

Review 37：My group and I had a horrible stay at Kamari Hotel due to the terribleservice from the people who worked there. The hotel itself wasbeautiful, with a great pool and nice room. But that unfortunatelydidn't make up for the treatment we received while staying there.Full disclosure, we were staying in a room that was meant for fourpeople. We had one extra friend staying with us for one night as she wasin a bind (her ferry scheduled for Athens that night was canceled), andwas just leaving the next day. Upon arriving to the hotel, the frontdesk staff threw a fit that we had more people than the room allowed(although the Family Room fit five people comfortably). After a hugeback and forth we agreed on paying 80 Euro extra for the night which wewere totally happy to pay. Even though we had agreed to pay the extrafee, they made a big deal about even giving us an extra pillow. Wethought this was pretty strange but little did we know it was only thestart of the rude treatment we experienced over the next few days.The next morning the maid came at 12pm noon to clean the room. One member of our party was still sleeping as she unfortunately had come down with strep throat during our trip. The maid stormed in and yelled at her "What are you doing in here?! Get out of this room! How many people are staying here?!" All while throwing towels around the room and counting suitcases. She nonetheless left the room after getting kicked out and had to sit outside in the sun with strep throat.As mentioned earlier the friend we were traveling with was leaving for an Athens ferry 12 hours after we checked in. The hotel had said they arranged the bus service to take her there, but when we went down to see her off they had "lost" the reservation. Luckily they were able to accommodate her last minute but the whole thing was very suspicious as we saw him write the reservation down the night before.

Review 38：Great location for catching the bus to Thira or Ouia. Room was huge....great for a family to spread out. Breakfast included in room offered lots of variety. Pool was large with nice views. Would highly recommend this hotel.

Review 40：Spent a week with the kids and enjoyed the ease of life at the kamari. Great staff, easy access to all attractions with a large range of good restuarants and beaches close by. supermarkets near by also. Near enough to mykonos township to enjoy the shops, bar and clubs and then head back to the quiet part of the Iisland. Pool and bar only has snack menu but ideal for a quick bit when lazing around the pool and hotel. Thanks loved it.

Review 48：Lovely hotel, clean, nice dining area, staff were helpful and accommodating, rooms were nothing special but clean and comfortable and had a bath which was a big plus for us, nice pool area, 2 minute walk to beach, supermarket and bus stop into Mykonos. There was no mini bar but had a fridge so you could buy stuff at the supermarket and keep cool in the fridge, a big plus as Greece is very expensive. All round very pleasant stay and will definitely go back and recommend to other people

Review 49：The location was not ideal for young travellers. If you intend on spending your holiday at Platis Gialous then it's a great location. Busses however all go through mykonos town so if you want to get anywhere you have to bus to town and then take another bus. This is more expensive.

Review 100：Platys Gialos is a small but beautiful beach with an interesting gastronomic offer. This hotel has great comfort with beautiful facilities, amazing pool, clean, Greek style, rooms with balconies and the whole building like a large mansion with park and lots of green. Staff always helpful to provide various facilities inside and outside the hotel as car rental, tours and also a shuttle to and from the airport and port to a very affordable cost

Review 101：Reception for wifi is not very strong in the room. Had to go to lobby to get a strong reception. However, this is very minor and does not affect our overall satisfaction of our stay in this hotel. This is probably the only area that needs improvement.

Review 102：I booked a family room for 4 but had to change it to a double because 2 of my family members could not come. However, they still gave us a suite fit for 4 people with no additional charge. The suite was very spacious and miraculously clean. Everything was new. Location was excellent. 5 min walk to the beach. If you want to go into town the bus stop is right in front of the hotel. Coming home in the evening , you don't need to walk far at all cuz you are in front of your hotel already. Reception was very friendly. There was always someone to answer our questions..the pool area was a plus. They breakfast was delicious and they were accomodating in providing us early breakfast before we left for our flight home.
