Hotel Eden sells fast on our site. Set on the shores of Lake Maggiore, Hotel Eden is a family-run hotel in central Baveno, offering panoramic views. The hotel also features a restaurant, a bar and a mountain-view sun terrace.
All rooms at Hotel Eden are air conditioned and offer a view of the mountains or lake. Each room has a safe, TV with satellite channels, radio, and a private bathroom with hairdryer.
A buffet breakfast is provided daily from 07:30 to 09:30. You can taste traditional Italian cuisine at the à-la-carte restaurant.

Review 1：Everything was great. Cost including service charge was a little high but considering its location next to everything, it was great.

Review 2：The service was superb. Wonderful kind family who own the hotel. They even packed us a lunch for the morning after as we had to catch a taxi to the airport in the middle of the night.

Review 3：In general very disappointing: Breakfast very poor, in fact almost nothing left on the buffet by 9.10 (20 minutes before end of breakfast)! Room service refused to return when suggested they could clean room in half an hour after we had left When asked for some ice, there was none (apparently) available neither at reception, restaurant or bar. Very small bathroom with poor lighting (would have been better if the bulb was replaced but this didn't happen even though we reported it?)

Review 5：Very busy road in front of the hotel,leading to a lot of noise even with the windows closed. Airco did not work all the time, so with closed windows, it was hot in the room.

Review 7：From the pictures it seemed it was on the lake with some sort of beach but there is no access to the lake for swimming. The hotel restaurant has a terrace on the lake shore, across the street from the hotel. The Wifi does not work in most rooms. The furnishing was very motel like and random. I am not one who likes ornate gilded fake old decor; I prefer simple modern but this was just a collection of ugly things both in the lobby and the room.

Review 8：We spent only one night and for that it was OK. It's located in the center, on the corner of the main street, which allowed us to walk around easily but also makes it a bit noisy. The room was very large but so very old and tacky looking, like a motel. The lady at the reception was very nice. The waiter did his best to give us a good table by the water's edge. The restaurant has a lovely terrace by the lake. The food is average but the views make it worthwhile.

Review 9：Very odd vibe given off by the owners. The list of rules and financial penalties for breaking them made you feel like being at being at school. We felt very much like the place was run for her convenience and that her guests were a bit of a nuisance. No choice of were to sit for breakfast, you sat where you were told. The bar is only open for 1 hour each evening, dinner is served for two, check out is at ten and if you are late you will be charged a full extra day. Someone needs to tell this lady how you should treat your guest. Would never think of recommending this hotel if it was the last place on earth

Review 13：The hotel is located on the best spot on the lake overlooking Isola Bella, Isola Pescatore and Isola Madre. It is in the family since over 100 years. The owners were exceptional friendly and helpful with any questions we had and gave awesome suggestions. Breakfast was plenty and good. I would recommend this hotel to everyone who wants to experience a relaxing atmosphere and friendly staff. Parking is not available at the house, but only a five minute walk away. After unloading the owner even sat in the car to guide us to the parking lot. We had a great time and hope to be back one time- in the same hotel!!!

Review 28：Beautiful view at the lake, excellent location right in the city center. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Rooms are cleaned every day. The city is very small but close to a bigger one, Stresa. I recommend visiting the islands, the Isola Bella is amazing.

Review 29：A. The photos bore no resemblance to reality. B. My 4 year old daughter could have done better painting the rooms. This place needs a serious makeover, especially for the price paid. C. Furniture from the 70's (1870's) D. We have 2 small children and arrived late at night. Whilst I was parking the car, no assistance was offered or given to my Wife and 2 young children to take the bags to the room.

Review 31：We are used to traveling in Europe and for the money this was an incredible value. Some Americans may say the hallways are narrow and the rooms small. I am 6'4 and 200 lbs and my wife is 6 ft tall and we did not feel cramped.

The staff spoke English and was incredibly helpful with ideas and directions. The breakfast buffet satisfied us all. We would stay here again!

Review 51：Very average I think, not more. We got a very small room that it was totally not as in the pictures. I was told that it is not too hot so the air-condition is not working (but if I think it is hot…) On the main road but we were very tiered so I didn’t hear too much noise. We stayed just 1 night but I would not want to go back to this hotel.

Review 54：Recently stayed in the Albergo Eden for four nights while attending afriends wedding in the Dino hotel. The location was excellent, right inthe middle of the town with a lovely view. The owner got up every nightto let me in at all hours in the morning. The hotel rooms are what youpay for cheap and cheerful! Was a great stay and would definitelyrecommend to a friend!
