Review 1：The chalet was run down, draughty and mouldy. The key wasn't ready upon arrival (within our pre stated time) so we sat in the car to wait for 30 mins. The gate house man told us the wrong door no. when he handed over the key (which we did not notice until we tried to enter the wrong property). The on site shop was a little over priced and there was no available parking near the chalet. The sofa was sticky and grubby.

Review 10：The apartment was very tired and in need of repairs to windowframes, taps and bath. The shower curtain was badly mildew stained, the kitchen sink drainer was very dirty, the floor was sandy on arrival and there were multitudes of dusty cobwebs in corners and by the door. The beds were very uncomfortable, especially the sofa bed and we resorted to putting mattress on the floor to sleep.

Review 12：My daughter left trainers under bed in her chalet we have tried phoning the site since Saturday afternoon (they were new trainers) The phone rings and no one answers Have even phoned the booking office who said they would put me through to camber sands but once again left listening to ringing l would like this resolved and would like to get trainers back as they were expensive so if possible who ever reads this can help resolve this matter thank you l look forward to hearing from you

Review 20：When we arrived there was no explanation it was literally here's your pack, bedding & keys (we didn't know where breakfast was or what time (we arrived lateish) the system for getting food & queuing up did not work. The rooms were ok material wise, however it was VERY dirty! (Can elaborate) The amount of activities was amazing for little ones but unfortunately these opened and closed when pontins felt like it! I was given false information regarding pool times & activities so we did not manage to swim during our stay. Overall majority of staff very rude (24hr staff at front especially) & slow service, we waited 25 minutes at the queen Victoria bar just to order a drink & to find out they had no food for lunch, I suppose as all other places apart from pontins restaurant were closed!

Review 21：The food was good apart from the system that clearly did not work (getting your food) plenty of entertainment for adults & children (when open) location very ideal for the beach and lovely surroundings.

Review 22：Chalet wasn't in the best state of repair and ironing board was missing. Sofabed wasn't overly comfortable. Floor was really dirty but a quick sweep with broom and dustpan provided sorted that.

Review 23：The weekend only cost £78 for 2 nights so for that price I couldn't complain. The chalet had a dirty floor, some marks on the walls and ceilings but the kitchen and bathroom were spotless.

Review 24：Curtains didnt fit windows. No hanging rail in wardrobe. Had to wash kitchen utensils before use. One of the windows did not lock. And this was after paying £40 extra for a so called upgrade. Used booking.com for years and think you should take this off your system.

Review 31：When we got to out chalet one of the windows was broken. The cooker wasn't the cleanest. When the shower was in use in the chalet above us their water came into our shower. The sofa was completely broken. Floors not clean. No net curtains so not very private. The fast food outlets on site would have been closed down, they were incredibly dirty and there wasn't enough staff. Not been to Pontins before and not sure I would again.

Review 49：When we was having dinner we did not quite finish but the cleaner in the resturant still took our plates so keep your eyes on your food. The beds are hard no good if you have any back probloms. We had two single quits and 2 pillows for a family of 3 when I complained about where the other cover and pillow was they bought us a double cover the day we was leaving but still no pillow. The apartments are not clean warbdrobe was broken and the chest of drawes was broken and be very carful with the door handels inside one was missing there was a screw sticking out and the bedroom doors does not shut they covered the holes with plasters. I recommend to take extra covers very cold in the apartmens. we kept the curtins closed to many people stands there looking in and was very noiesy at night. most of the amusments was broken down not much fun.

Review 53：To whom it may concern I write this letter in regards to a recent visit to pontins camber sands. On booking this weekend away, the arrangements were for 2 adult and 2 children. I was led to believe we would have 2 seperate bedrooms, 1 double and 1 twin,however, we only had 1 twin room meaning my partner and i had to sleep on a very uncomfortable and dirty pull out sofa. On making a complaint to the reception staff, i was told thats all the had as the park was fully booked and we'd have to make do, the staff were very unfriendly and non sympathetic to my requests to change rooms! The room itself was very poorly equiped, and was filthy dirty. The cutlery and plates were in the cupboard unwashed and and the oven looked as though it had never been cleaned. The bathroom was disgusting and unusable, we had no hot water and everytime we flushed the toilet, it would overflow onto the floor. Also on booking this, i filled in the special request form, requesting we had a room close to the main building/clubhouse as my youngest son has a disabilty and is unable to walk distances. Our room was one of the furthest away and was told the the request field is not garaunteed. Why do you have this on your website if its just going to be ignored! Overall we were very upset and disappointed with our stay and felt my children were let down. Regards Danny J Cook

Review 60：I have never seen such a dilapidated place in all my life. It looked like a Councillor estate that was in post war apocalyptic state both I side and out. We had paid for club appartments and got classic appartments that was changed straight after we paid in full for our holiday and we did not realize this until we got to the resort. Mouldy rusty bathrooms that were filthy a towel rail that was falling of the wall and a toilet that was lose and not secure to the floor it rocked when you sat on it.

Review 92：We arrived later than expected, we had to go from one reception to the amusement park and then wait in the entrance for the manager to check us in, we ask kitchen staff where he was and was told that they only cook in the kitchen and didn't know. We waited for over 40 minutes for what wasn't the manager to check us in. The staff member told us that not even the staff stay in the rooms or eat the food. We were give an envelope with a room number on on it, after parking we walked for 10 minutes in the dark trying to find our room, me pregnant a 9 year and my husband without luggage, we found the room but the key did not work, we then realised that the number on the envelope did not match the key number! We went to the key number room and found two single beds even though we had paid for a family room. We called down to reception and was told to come back and they would fix the problem, I refused as we had arrived at 8pm and it was now 10pm and asked that the manager come see us. The manager did not come he sent another member of staff. He told us that there is a double bed, my husband was sitting on it! It was a pull out black leather sofa bed! Apparently all the rooms have these! The sofa bed was awful, with a wooden ridged between me and my husband so we might as well of had two single beds! This will be the first and last time that I will go here
