Review 1：On our second night in the hotel we woke up to the sound of banging and someone sawing it was 2am we went up to reception and the lady behind the desk informed us she was the owner and there were workmen in, then basically told us to deal with it and go back to bed we didn't get any sleep after that. She definitely needs a crash course in customer service. The next morning Crystal the receptionist couldn't apologise enough and was very understanding, the hotel is lucky to have good staff working there because the attitude of the owner would stop anyone going back.

Review 14：This is an average 3 star on a busy road surrounded by not much! It's not a 'country club' in any sense of what I know except it has a lot of 'country' and western bands! The place is clean and the breakfast was fine if a little slow to arrive.

Review 20：The lady at checkout wasn't really that nice and couldn't afford even a smile. The overall hotel was a little old but not dirty. A typical country hotel probably more for country people, but good value for money, nonetheless.

Review 23：Great hotel located out of the city of Waterford yet still within a few minutes drive. Lovely country setting and when I opened my curtains in the morning, all I could see were green fields, a fantastic view. Great sing song and dancing also in the bar on the night I was there, I didn't stay long as I was very tired but everyone seemed to be enjoying it.

Review 25：We arrived in the early hours of the morning but the bar was still operating with a band with dancing and singing. The clientele was middle aged and everyone was having a good time. From our room you could not hear the noise in the bar which was good however we joined them for a drink. The staff did not mind us arriving so late and were very friendly. It was a good stopover to drive to the rosslare ferry in the morning, about 1 hours drive.

Review 26：This was our second trip to Ireland and the Rhu Glenn. It was entirely satisfactory in all aspects. Service, accommodation and friendly staff were in abundance. We only hope we have the opportunity to stay there again.

Review 69：We have stayed here a few times over the past year, as always the staff are so very helpful, we asked for a downstairs room as my husband has a back problem, they put us in a lovely room over looking the gardens, unfortunally as we had our dogs in the van we asked could we change our room to one overlooking the carpark, it was no trouble for the receptionist she simply changed us to the room opposite,the food is as always excellent and the bar staff super, we had a wonderful time. we can throughly recommend this hotel.

The major downside was the staff, we went into the bar Saturday night to eat and sat down and waited for someone to come to us, unfortunately this did not happen and I had to go to the bar myself to find out and order our food. It was nice though when we got it but for the horrible white sauce on the veg that there was no need for. Breakfast the next morning was nice but the waitress could have done with an injection of something to make her a bit more friendly and talkative...Staff could be better here!! But the two older ladies on the reception desk were nice and friendly.But through it all it wont put me off going back there again sometime.

Our rooms were above a poorly insulated function room which did,nt stop until 1.00am then the drunken guests arguing in the corridors and slamming doors until 2.30am . Lamp and phone were broken in our room and there were 2 towels when we arrived even though it was a family of 3 staying. We only needed a bed for the night as a stopover but if I was staying for longer would not have been impressed.

Review 87：It was a well run hotel,with excellent staff that cannot do enough foryou, when we booked, we asked for a room on the ground level not to farfrom the restaurant and bar, and that is just what we had, eventhoughthere were only two people staying, we were still given a room with asingle bed and a double at no extra charge,the views from the gardenswere superb, and eventhough the hotel is on the Main Cork to Roslaireroad you did not hear any traffic noise, we have now stayed there twiceand can highly reccommend this hotel.
