Review 1：Breakfast was very ordinary and the coffee poor. However, when I asked for real coffee they obliged.

Review 4：Good location near the station, and the walk to the main part of town was not too far. Good sized room. Breakfast basic, but adequate.

Review 5：There was no information in the room ie: details about breakfast times, room service etc. the only info in the room was about bar fridge prices. We had to ask for toilet paper etc as it was not replaced when our room was made up. At breakfast we were expected to eat our cereal out of coffee cups as they didn't supply cereal bowls and all that was offered to eat at breakfast was cereal and pastries.

Review 9：Grand Hotel Italiano has a wonderful location near the train station. The rooms are perfect for a stay in Benevento. The staff goes above and beyond expectations. We arrived at 4pm and had to leave for a flight at 3:30am. In that short amount of time, they arranged a car service (on a Sunday) to the airport for 6 people and luggage. They also opened breakfast for us at 3am with hot coffee and a complete spread of breakfast items. My husband and I stayed here two years ago and Señor Italiano helped us locate long lost relatives that we visited this trip. True Italian hospitality.

Review 10：We had booked a bus through the hotel which never materialized. I had the hard copy of the email with me but they still denied that it had been done. However, they did find taxis for us which we appreciated. However, their night desk clerk (I believe his name was Marco) was not helpful at all and very rude to women. I did not appreciate that and did report him to his manager. I was surprised by this person's behavior and I am not sure that I would stay at this hotel again because of it.

Review 11：12 of us stayed in 6 rooms--all were small as expected but comfortable. Breakfast was fine.

Review 12：The desk staff, Guilio and Maria, are gems. The entire staff from housemaids to the young who attended the breakfast room were wonderful. Our room, which turned out to be a suite, was exceptionally clean, spacious, and very comfortable. Maria made several calls to help us to rent a car; Guilio drove us to sign for the car; the breakfast man anticipated our every need; and the housekeeper delivered my checkbooks to the front desk before I even realized that I had inadvertently left them in the room.

Review 33：This is by far the best hotel in Benevento. The owner and staff are what makes this hotel so great. They are so friendly and wonderful people. We stayed there 4 years ago and went back recently and nothing had changed. Thankyou Enzo for making our stay there so great. Although he did not speak muchEnglish and our Italian is poor, he took his time to help us withtransportation. He even provided a little sampling of the local liquor,Strega, at 10:00 in the morning.He also allowed us to keep our suitcases in our room beyond check out time. Forgot to mention that this hotel also has a very cozy little bar.
