Reviews for Prima Kings Hotel

Review 1:The thermometer in the room was not easy to understand. I ended up opening the terrace door to let in a breeze.

Review 2:Great value. Staff was flexible and communicated well. My plans changed and I ended up only staying 2 of 3 nights. They did not charge me for the 3rd night though, technically they could have. I had a late flight so they let me stay in the room the whole last day until I left for the airport at 7 pm. It only cost $50 for that but well worth it.

Review 3:Executive lounge was a little sparse. Would have benefitted from more fresh supplies throughout its opening hours. The Shabbat meals and breakfasts were to a very high standard but it would have been benefitted from more fruit eg fruit salad or sliced oranges or grapes etc.

Review 4:All staff very approachable and friendly and welcoming.

Review 5:The first night was not very pleasant. We arrived at 12:30 am, the room to which we were assigned had no heat, the unit was broken. At 5 am, my wife and I went down to the desk and demanded another room. We had to pack our belongings and move into another room. From then on the stay was great.

Review 6:Very accomodating. We were pleasantly surprised and pleased with our stay at the Prima Kings.

Review 7:My only criticism is the lack of parking. I know the hotel doesn't have, but it would be good if they had an arrangement with one of the nearby car parks for more convivial arrangements for hotel guests.

Review 8:Staff and location. We messed up our booking (totally my fault!!) but Debbi Raviv was so helpful and accommodating in rectifying my mistake.

Review 9:Maid did not put correct no of towels, nor bathmats in bathroom. Disabled shower facilities unsuitable. Need a larger screensenclosed shower stall with fold down seat

Review 10:Spacious disabled room. Toilet on restaurant level.

Review 11:Prices were ridiculously upped for festival meals.

Review 12:Best beds ever! Rooms very clean and stunning views from balconies. Excellent breakfast and buffet lunch and dinners over Festival of Tabernacles. Location could not be better. Staff very helpful. A very pleasant experience,. Would definitely go again.

Review 13:The staff on the desk should all be fired. They are arrogant and do not help even with directions. On leaving I asked them to get me a ride on the shuttle to Jerusalem which they couldn't even do that.

Review 14:The waiters and coffee bar workers were wonderful

Review 15:The Prima Kings Hotel has a great location. I stay here each time that I visit Jerusalem. The hotel has a restaurant that serves great breakfasts, and the buffet dinners at the hotel are among the best dinners served anywhere in the world. The new fitness room at the Prima Kings makes staying at the Prima Kings even better.

Review 16:The whole desk staff should be fired X they are rude not helpful when you ask them to do something it is like you are bothering them. My rooms curtains patio door didn't shut right my lamp shade disgusting never got fixed. Needed shuttle to airport they could not even do that I had to get my own taxi.

Review 17:Location and the balcony . Food was also good. Wait staff nice . Coffee and bat staff really friendly

Review 18:I have stayed at hotel many times.Did notice some poor quality. I ordered a cot for 2 of the rooms, but none were there when guests arrived. One room didnt have towels and air con not cool.my room the bedside lamp not working. Previously you had supplied leaf toilet paper over shabbos, not now.The staff in dining room could smile a bit .

Review 19:I usually stay here whenever I vist Jerusalem . its a good location, great breakfasts, lovely family atmosphere over shabbos and right next door synagogues. Staff on reception are really polite. Nice cool lounge to relax

Review 20:We had just unpacked and I was exhausted and tired so I decided to take a bath. When I emptied the tub- it flooded into the bathroom and out into the room and hallway. The front desk was very responsive and sent maintenance to assess immediately. We had to switch rooms so I spent a few hours moving my clothes to a room two doors down. The bathroom there was also not very newly renovated and the floors got very wet when I showered in the claustrophobic tub. The manager was sympathetic but I thought they might have done something more to compensate me for this unpleasantness. My friend stayed on the 6th floor and had a newly renovated much prettier bathroom. The parking situation if you have a car is not ideal. Still the hotel gives good value for your money in the heart of Jerusalem.

Review 21:The location was wonderful. The lobby has been renovated and is quite nice. We had a lovely balcony overlooking Jerusalem. The beds were very comfortable and the breakfast had a nice variety of fresh and tasty foods.

Review 22:Shabbat meals ridiculously expensive and especially for what was on offer. Also business lounge opening hours far too limited

Review 23:Location and nice room friendly staff

Review 24:We liked everything about our stay in the prima king. The staff sorted us straight away. The room was very comfortable and clean with a balcony overlooking the corner fountain. Great food. Very happy all round.

Review 25:The price...shouldbe a lot cheapersteepsteps to hotel car parking very minimal

Review 26:My home from home we always stay here nicefriendly staff especialy dinain reservations

Review 27:Zero.

Review 28:Wi-fi worked 24/7 and it was free. The chamber maid never bothered us with her schedule. She was polite, nice and acted as if she had the whole day to clean.

Review 29:The room was really dated, old fashioned and small

Review 30:Location was great. A short walk to mamila and old city. The lobby qas modern with nice places to sit with friends

Review 31:No bad experience.

Review 32:It felt cozy. Location: The best. Staff was already ready to help. Never bothered us with any room cleaning schedule. And, whenever we returned the room was done. Everything positive.

Review 33:Accessing WiFi was a pain because the system limited one to only one device. So once I logged in on my phone I couldn't log in on my ipad plus for some reason outgoing calls on Skype and such apps did not work. Serious problems with usability there.

Review 34:Location is just great. Even though it is a busy intersection the sound isolation is great and this gives you a good view. My room had a balcony. This hotel was of much better quality than the other 4-stars I've stayed at. Excellent qualtiy of furnishings, robes, slippers, toiletries, complimentary water, tea, coffee, chocolate in the room etc. Efficient service and lavish breakfast

Review 35:The hotel is situated on a main road and even with all the windows closed, it was impossible to block out the street noise. Double glazing is badly needed.

Review 36:The location was central and most of the facilities were as expected. The breakfast offered a good range, but their capuccino and the machine offered coffees could do with some improvement.

Review 37:The cuisine in the dining room is inconsistent and sometimes downright funky. Even though it is an Israeli hotel, not an American hotel, they either underseason the food or season it with odd combinations of things. Either way, I had to stick with cereal and plain pastry, otherwise I got intense heartburn. The food has been this way for years.

Review 38:Obviously the hotel was renovated in the last several years. It looks and feels much more like a first class hotel. Especially upgraded were the elevators and bathrooms.

Review 39:Parking was tricky, but we managed. The attendant for parking does not actually work for the hotel... so his concern is not customer service.

Review 40:They were very very and easy to talk to and deal with. Food was great. Proximity to all the special places we needed to see was fantastic.

Review 41:Our only complaint was that the hallway smelled like a mixture of smoke and something else foul.

Review 42:My husband and and I stayed at the Prima Kings for 3 days in March 2015. The service was really great and everyone was really accommodating--I had been in touch with Fimi prior to the trip and she was really helpful in placing us in the specific room we had requested. Additionally, throughout our stay, Moriah from the front desk was very helpful and very friendly. We also really liked Shmulik, a manager, who was very friendly. We also did late check-out on Sunday which was no problem. The food was pretty good too. We were in a renovated room with a beautiful porch and a great room. Small, but clean. Thank you for such a great stay!

Review 43:Did not have available the room we requested; but did "upgrade" us to nice accomodations.

Review 44:Staff. Room. Breakfast. Location. Chaim L., Los Angeles, CA

Review 45:Free WIFI didn't work at all despite several attempts (other guests also complained) We were charged for a Sabbat lunch we didn't have (was corrected)

Review 46:Excellent location, good food

Review 47:The lobby area is way nicer and they did a smart job with renovations. The staff always strike me as OK and a little rude and unhelpful (even for Israel standards) but the location can't be beat, its clean and nice and the rooms with balconies are sensational. I used mine every night while there in January.

Review 48:No iron or clock in room.

Review 49:The location is excellent. Breakfast for Israel was on par The room was small but updated and clean. staff at front desk very helpful and friendly

Review 50:not very good assistance when requesting directions or recommendations from reception staff. I feel general friendliness amongst staff could improve

Review 51:location prompt responses when asking for something

Review 52:Lighting in room was inadequate, even by hotel standards. Traffic noise from the street - the hotel is on a very busy corner. Why do hotels always fix the toilet-paper holder parallel with the seat? I'm a grown man, not a 4-year old! Dirty crockery not cleared from the room.

Review 53:We took a junior suite on the top floor - it was a bit pricey but very comfortable, nice room layout, great view from balcony. Staff were extremely pleasant!

Review 54:Everything was very good. Would like special mention of the excellent service of the Receptionist Dina who went out of her way to be helpful to two Aussie ladies.

Review 55:Travelling with small kids is easy when you stay at Prima Kings hotel in Jerusalem. The service was great, they did much more than we had hoped for! Will recommend it highly!

Review 56:The beds were typical Israeli Beds. I'm used to American Beds. But they were comfortable enough.

Review 57:It is a 15 Min walk to the Old City The food was good and plentiful Rooms and common areas were clean

Review 58:far too short an opportunity to catch breakfast. Shouldn't need to get up at the crack of dawn when on holiday

Review 59:On the whole a really good experience

Review 60:Staff at the front desk are helpful and friendly. Rooms are clean and the beds are comfortable. The location is excellent, and so are the breakfasts and dinners in the hotel.

Review 61:The staff at the desk actually acted like they could not care less or that u were bothering them.

Review 62:The location plus the lobby was always crowded full of life and light. The restaurant staff were very attentive chief in the morning actually happy to cook omelette. Make sure to get balcony best view in Jerusalem.

Review 63:We felt there was not enough help behind the bar/snack area in the lobby. And the people who were there occasionally, were not knowledgeable. Poor selections!! There was inadequate help behind the desk to help or answer questions. The dining room selections for breakfast were profuse. I would have liked 2 coffee stations. There was always a log jam and they ran out. Also would have enjoyed croissants and/or muffins in addition to bread.

Review 64:The exterior is lovely with cascading flower boxes on the balconies facing the main street. The hotel was undergoing some renovation so it was difficult to assess the lobby. It is small. This feels more like a boutique hotel. Our room was a nice size as was the bathroom. I loved looking out over the city from the balcony. I would stay here again. The hotel is very well situated to take transportation or to get a taxi. Two excellent restaurants next door.

Review 65:The elevators were under construction and our room was next to the elevators. So at 10am we here drilling and jack hammering and it drove us insane by 10:30... Recommend leaving the hotel by ten so you don't feel any headaches...

Review 66:The selection of the food is better than any other location, but one must be careful not to mix certain foods together to prevent illness.

Review 67:The noise from the street in the room

Review 68:The location

Review 69:Poor lighting in room, inadequate lifts, pricey

Review 70:Nice room, good location, friendly staff

Review 71:Bathroom exhaust fan did not work. Small elevators. Not enough towels and tissues.

Review 72:The restaurant food was good.

Review 73:I stayed with my teenaged daughter. We both really enjoyed our stay, especially the balcony and delicious breakfast.

Review 74:Dirty floor and bathroom

Review 75:Food, room service, location

Review 76:Check in counter is understaffed

Review 77:The bathrooms didn't smell so fresh

Review 78:Comfortable neat good service

Review 79:No wifi in rooms

Review 80:Lovely room with balcony and great view. position very central. Delicious breakfasts and Yomtov meals.

Review 81:the front door lock was broken and they were unable to fix it. the closet door fell off, they did fix it.

Review 82:the view

Review 83:Nothing!

Review 84:The hotel staff were wonderful! They could not have been more friendly or helpful and went above and beyond. Great location.

Review 85:Staff not very friendly

Review 86:Location

Review 87:Adi at the reception gives good service and is very help- and thoughtful.

Review 88:The noise from the road junction outside if you had your bedroom window open

Review 89:Room very clean and comfortable. Nice amenities --newspaper fruit platter bottled water.,.nice variety at breakfast

Review 90:Wireless doesn't work (not only by me)

Review 91:Friendly staff

Review 93:Friendly service, great central location

Review 95:The room was great very clean no complaints at all

Review 96:Toilet running non stop

Review 97:Decent room, the toilet and bath tub may be updated but not bad, clean room, front desk was very nice and welcoming.

Review 98:The bathroom was not clean at all; the wifi was very poor; the fridge was not clean; not a four-star hotel;

Review 99:Good location

Review 100:Room was tiny, bathroom was tinyier, the room was not clean and was not cleaned properly either

Review 101:Location of the hotel. Breakfast

Review 102:Location , service, and delicious Israeli style breakfast.

Review 103:Only downside was Rooms overlooking street very noisy at night

Review 104:I'd like to be able to connect two devices to the free wifi instead of just one--phone and iPad would have been helpful.

Review 105:The weather! Sandstorm!

Review 106:Beautiful new decor and helpful staff

Review 107:all good

Review 108:comfortable, friendly staff

Review 109:Great location. Pleasant & helpful staff. Clean and comfortable room.
