Review 1：Very DIRTY room. Absolutely dirty windows and sanitary equipment. No meat at breakfast at all, fish was only conservated tuna and herring. Very bad coffee. Restaurant worked only for breakfast and dinner, beach restaurant was closed. Internet connection is weak and slow.

Review 8：We came to the hotel and the reception charged our credit card although we booked non refundble. All the staff of the hotel are angry and treat the guests like they are bad.

Review 9：The hotel looks good in the pictures (lobby, swimming pool), but the most important part, the rooms are rundown and really needs renovation. Booked a room for 3 adults and sleeping for the third one is really uncomfortable. Food is average, nothing special.

Review 11：The didn't clean the room until I told the to at 3:30 in the afternoon when we wanted to rest after a day of siteseeing. And after they cleaned I saw that the cup I used was put back were it started out with the dregs of my drink still in it. At the pool I asked for a towel and the guy pointed vaguely and told me there. When I told him he should bring it to me he looked at me like I was nuts.

Review 15：The receptionist was sooooooo rude and offensive . She was yelling at me because I was reading my bill information before signing it. When I mentioned that there were mistakes on the bill such as wrong email address...she raised her voice at me and told me to just sign the paper. The Room smelled like smoke. No wifi working in my room. The TV didn't work and the air conditioner turned off in the middle of the night on the warmest day of the year ( actually, of the decade).

Review 17：We received one of the rooms two hours later than our arrival even though we requested early check in. Check in was not orderly. The desk clerk was stressed and our booking was not prepared in advance.The billing was incorrect and had to be adjusted several times.

Review 18：Pretty good value for our money. The pool was clean and most of the time there were towels. Breakfast is not fancy but fresh and nicely presented. Dining room is crowded but well staffed and food areas are kept clean and re-filled often.

Review 19：The room was too small and we were 4 people. And this happend after we changed room, since thta the one we recieved the lock at the door was broken, the room was completely without light.

Review 20：The room is old and tired. The carpets and the curtains in desperate need of replacement. Though there is a hair dryer, it is definitely not powerful enough to dry your hair. There were little bugs in the "kitchen" which consists of a sink, small range and refrigerator. It should not be considered 3 stars.

Review 24：wifi never connected. the staff told us breakfast ends at 11, when it ended at 10. the advertisement for the hotel showed the flats on the top floor, nice rooms with balconies, it also stated that the rooms have pool view. Once we got there we were sent to the side rooms with no view, clearly the opposite of what he advertisement had said. It was obvious the pool was filled with emergency fire hose, as I saw a man filling it up. It had no chlorine to disinfect the water as many times I saw incest and bird feces floating on the water. I caught a stomach bug after the first day of breakfast and was hospitalized once got back home. The stay there was not pleasant at all, I will not recommend Americana to anyone.

Review 52：The pool was great, BUT it was spoiled by the loud music being constantly played. It was awful. Many other guests left the poolside because the awful loud music was driving them crazy. Even most of the kids hated it. Let us enjoy the pool with peace and quiet, please.

From the moment we arrived until the time we left it was not only low class, filthy, inhospitable but the hotel staff was rude, abrasive and generally uncooperative. The Wi- Fi ONLY worked in the hotel lobby, where we sat a a dirty table (it had not been wiped off in 3 DAYS!!!).We HAD to pre-pay our room when we checked in! It was obvious why, because we would have NEVER stayed in a room with black mold in the bathroom walls,tub and floor not to mention the footprints on the bedding! Disgusting! I will be contacting Booking.com for a rebate. NOTHING in their listing was accurate from the photographs of the Hotel (closer to a hovel ) to the room to the rating. We are usually not difficult to please....clean will do.

Review 70：Excellent hotel, our favorite in Eilat - we were now for the 5th time. Very clean, comfortable rooms, realy big balcony with pool-viev, very friendly staff - most of them are working here for a long time. Also a nice pool - our four kids really enjoy it! Breakfast is exellent - everything is fresh and tasty. We'll be back))))))) Прекрасный отель, маленький, уютный , с семейной атмосферой, наш любимый в Эйлате - мы тут пятый раз останавливаемся. Чистые, удобные комнаты - особенно с балконом и видом на бассейн. Дружелюбный и компетентный персонал, много русскоговорящих. Особо радует низкая текучка - большинство работает лет пять, а кто-то - и все 13 (помним их с 2000 года). Чудесный бассейн и сауна - отрада нашим четверым детям. И отдельная ода завтракам - вкусная, свежая, разнообразная еда: 6-7 видов йогуртов, столько же овощных салатов, сыры, рыбка, несколько видов омлетов, оладушки, гренки (которые жарят прямо при нас), сладости и цитрусовые, и кое-что еще. В следующий раз - только Американа)))))

Review 71：Slow reaction when I asked to fix the sink in my bathroom because a drain blockage the water went out very slow. In the same time I asked to open the safe-box as it was locked too. They could not fix it for me.

Review 72：Very close to the airport ETH in Eilat, and easy to get there with taxi. Close to the shopping and walking area. There is a big nice pool and the rooms are also okay. Very good wifi access from all areas. They offer an amazing breakfast. Vegetables, salads, cheese, sweets.

Review 80：1. No one was available to help with luggage at check-in but as I was dragging my luggage around looking for our room, I asked a staff member where our room was located. This individual went out of his way to help carry the luggage, take us to the room and showed us how to use the air conditioner which was not self explanatory. Four stars for this staff member. 2. After getting settled in room found out that in-room safe did not work. Made a call and within minutes, some one came to fix the safe. 3. Pool was very nice for such an older facility but it had limited operating hours (9am to 5pm). However at 10 am it was still not open. AND after a long day in over 40 degree C heat, you come back to the hotel after 5pm and find the pool closed. 4. Facility is an older one and could use a "face lift" of some kind. 5. Free wi- fi was convenient BUT unreliable. Could not always sign on successfully and even then would lose the connection frequently requiring the re-entering of the password each time. Had an important email to send so went to a neighboring hotel's lobby with free Wi-Fi and sent my message.

When we asked the staff about it they said it must have been a "temporary problem", but it it proved to be permanent for the whole stay. They didn't even seem to want to do anything to get it fixed. Review 100：The room was very nice and spacious, it even had quite a large balcony with a nice view over the pool. At the time of our stay the place was quiet, there was no airport rush hearable and the location was close to the city centre as well as to the buses to the beaches in the south. The staff was helpful, they also provided a take-away breakfast since we had to left very early and such pack was big enough even for the lunch!

They gave us another room in the same floor,but it wasn't the same. The idea was to be all together with theinterior door opened.
