Reviews for Falkensteiner Apartments Petrcane
Review 1:Felt a little to expensive for one week. No extra towels. Cud use a sweeping brush in the apartment. Not enough for teenage children to do. Suit couples and young children the best
Review 2:The bed was excellent! The closest to the beach was brilliant. Very clean
Review 3:Male Staff is not professional. His attitude is under the average!!
Review 4:Excellent facility(apartment, swimming pool) and location. Apartment manager is excellent!!
Review 5:light smell of sanitary inside and outside probably due to a plumbing problem which dissapeared after 3 or 4 days. Some workers were seen handling the problem.
Review 6:Location, distance to sea, beach amenities, restaurants, supermarket
Review 7:Missing microwave owen. Humidity of the apartment on some walls. Missing antimosquito nets on windows. Not cleaned airconditioning (smell).
Review 8:Significantly improved infrastructure (compared to 2 years ago). Friendly staff, pro-handicapped oriented facilities.
Review 9:Limited self catering facilities - no coffee maker, no bread knife, no microwave. Staff were not that responsive - took two days to get access to safe. 4 lights were broken, shower head was broken.
Review 10:Pool, sea view, snorkelling, clear sea, Watersports, quiet apartment, garden space.
Review 11:one encounter with coakroach in living room, unfriendly wait staff at breakfast, cold water in pools
Review 12:Location, well equipped, generally clean apartment, comfortable beach facilities,
Review 13:The only thing that we missed a bit is the animation for kids that was offered last year and unfortunately not this one. If WiFi is important for you, you will face some challenges here. For us, it was not crucial.
Review 14:Perfect location, beautiful garden, excellent beds. We feel at home here!
Review 15:Wifi worked out of 10 days not more than 2. And even then it was terrible. Beach /pool area is totally overcrowded I can't imagine how it will be in August... Tv all channels except for cnbc and bbc news are in german. There's a place for grilling but there's no grill grid to use it.
Review 16:Quite big apartment it has everything you need.
Review 17:Wifi was very slow.there was only 1 restaurant closed, but with 20min walking you can reach the city. The private beach is nice but very expensive. You can not see the sea but an other building only from the appartmen. No micro, no washing machine
Review 18:Nice, clean, quite and modern appartmen, the private beach, market are close (1min).
Review 19:The only negative was the WiFi which was absolutely terrible. Over 4 days I managed to connect only once. Poor signal and poor speeds.
Review 20:Lovely apartment with great space and access to the beach. Really good and would recommend
Review 21:We liked it all
Review 22:We really enjoyed the accommodation...clean and comfortable...pool was great and the beach facilities all so close.plenty of sun recliners and hammocks.the ice cream shop and market really close too.we all had a great time and would highly recommend it and would go back there again.staff were very friendly and helpful...a lovely place to stay.
Review 23:A gentleman at arrival was friendly , but the second day of there were an unfriendly one. rest employees were all very friendly. Also the navigation did not find the hotel ,this was very bad specially we arrived at 3 o'clock morning and found no one to ask , it was very difficult hour time.
Review 24:In general all was good / very good ,and hope better beach in future ,then we could go there more than two times a year.
Review 25:No washing machine Linen and towels are not free WI-FI was expensive and didn't work for 5 out of the 7 days we stayed.
Review 26:Close to the beach and also a short drive to the city of Zadar. Great cafe by the pool
Review 27:For this price, WiFi, linen and towels should be included in the rate. The only thing that could be added to the apartment in the future is a washing machine.
Review 28:Beautiful, clean and comfortable apartment with a big garden and 2 terraces! The bedroom comes with a very large and comfortable bed and a AC. A living room is very large and has a big extremely comfortable sofa for 2 children, a nice new kitchen with an oven, many plates and glasses and a big dining table for 6 persons. Kids could relax in the evening watching cartoons in languages they understood. We could start every day with a nice breakfast and finish it with romantic dinners and candles in the garden. The beach with 2 swimming pools and a bar-restaurant with pizza, hamburger and even calamari for a very good price is just a 1-minute walk away. You have sunbeds and umbrellas at your disposal. Sport activities are also available on spot. The highlight for our kids was the animation on the beach. They could barely wait 12:00 to go to paint and draw with Lana, the girl that had her artistic "island" on the beach. Only a 3-minute drive from the apartments there is an Adventure park. The location is very convenient to visit beautiful city of Zadar and also Krka waterfalls! We really enjoyed our stay totally and hope to come back next year!
Review 29:The Booking summary of the facilities mentioned a bath. There was only a shower cubicle. The satellite television seemed to cater mainly to German-speaking guests. One small niggle: no frying pan.
Review 30:The apartment itself was high spec; good air-con, comfortable furniture, good kitchen. Short walk to beach, pool, market and bistro.
Review 31:The check-in was a little unfriendly and the housekeeping slow and forgetful. The wi-fi non-existent - we asked for it to be taken off our charges. However, a holiday without wi-fi can be a good thing!
Review 32:The apartments have a fabulous location on a beautiful stretch of coastline. They're clean, well-maintained and sufficiently well-equipped. The beach is clean and safe, and the nearby roads/sights all easily accessible.
Review 33:The cleaning of apartment and the wifi availability was problematic. The children of local people are very noisy during the nights.
Review 34:The location of apartment is perfect, very close to the see. The equipments are new and modern.
Review 35:- Overcrowded beach, customers reserving loungers early in the morning.... - Even more overcrowded swimming pool. - Petrcane is actually a dead-end on the northern side of Zadar, accessible through only one crossing, which is allways jammed. If one would use the Falkensteiner apartments as a base for touring the region, one must go through this major traffic jam every time... - Apartments seriously overpriced....
Review 36:- Equipment and design of the apartment. - Very friendly staff
Review 37:- Reception assigned wrong apartment to us, we had to move after one hour when we had the car fully unpacked (all during a hot afternoon) - Apartment was not the one we did book. Comparable standard but different layout plus turned out to be the farest away from everywhere. Beach. Reception. Food market. - Phone did not work. No remote control. Phone fixed after 5 days. Remote control provided after 5 days (Upon 2nd request) - Bad design of the apartment. Too busy. Difficult to open doors to the outside as blocked by furniture. Window in kitchen blocked by shelves. Doors of wardrobe in one of the rooms blocked by the bed. Kitchen equipment very basic. Did not have tea spoons which where at least provided upon request. - Incompleted fittings / devices (i.e. soap dispenser in bathroom downstairs) broken lamps, etc.
Review 38:No plates in kitchen. Call from reception at 10.05am reminding me checkout was at 10am.
Review 39:Great modern apartment
Review 40:all you need for the holiday
Review 41:staff at the pool, sunbed not well cleaned
Review 42:Nice appartment, nice yard, private parking lot, clean, near the beach, nice pool
Review 43:Facilities: IF you like the crowd and loud music around the swimming pool. This is for you otherwise ... No comment !
Review 44:Apartment very nice and clean
Review 45:Bad Wi-Fi connection No washing machine for clothes
Review 46:Modern, comfortable, and clean apartments with a well maintained beach
Review 47:We had to buy our own toilet paper, paper towels, and even dish soap!
Review 48:Location to ocean, but no sand only large rocks
Review 49:it is not mentioned that is forbidden to go to Falkensteiner hotels and pools in the same complex.
Review 50:nice and clean
Review 51:beds very small Reception difficult to find
Review 52:Nice appartment-village good beach facilities
Review 53:wifi should be included for such price. no microwave (or we didn't find it :))
Review 54:really good staff, excellent apartment, a bit overpriced, but you get quality for it.
Review 55:The swimming pool on the beach are old-style and often not available for cleaning | No possibility to access to the Diadora Family Hotel (very beatiful swimming pool and services for kids)
Review 56:Very large and luxury apartments
Review 57:Poor kitchen equipment if you want to cook by yourself, the apartment beach is rocky and not easy if you have a little baby, you have to pay everything a part (bed linen, wifi, towel, baby cot, sandy beach )
Review 58:Very nice house, quiet area, not far from Zadar and Pag Island.
Review 59:Ristorante rucola, avoid! Overpriced and poor service Kids club is inside! Not good in hot weather. Should be some activities for kids on the beach Wifi is expensive
Review 60:Beautiful views, beaches amazing, apartments brand new, private beach not too busy, even in mid August. Very easy going and relaxed atmosphere Mini market on site, has everything you need
Review 61:Having to pay for bed linen, beach towels and bath towels, as well as for Internet. When charging such a price, this should be included in the price
Review 62:Beautiful apartment
Review 63:Bathroom: unfortunately there are no laundry rooms yet available, but the connections in the bathrooms are prepared, so maybe every apartment will get a washing machine soon. You could give clothing to the nearby hotel, but then you have to pay for each piece. Towels and linens must be paid by € 5,- per person. Beach: water shoes are necessary to get into the water due to the rocks and stones. But you get used to it. Pools: maybe a bit too small and too much chloride, so need to take good shampoo, still o.k. as I used the sea. Children club: opening hours are only from 9 am to 12 pm and then from 5 pm to 9 pm. We have found it ourselves, nobody told us that there is a mini club available. I would recommend to prepare a info booklet or brochure for every apartment (like you can find in many hotels). There is only a folder in the reception for excursions and trips. But anyway: small recommendations from my side, in total I'm very pleased with the all new condition of apartment and facilities and friendly people of the service!
Review 64:Apartment: We were really amazed when we opened the door of our apartment: it is completely new and clean. The equipment and furniture is very modern, even timeless. The apartment is also quite large with 2 bedrooms, enough for a family with 3 children. Two flat screens with different channels (also some German channels). Available also a guest toilet and a modern bathroom. Every apartment has also a parking which can be locked. We also used the terrace quite often equipped with 4 chairs and a table and a large umbrella. Beach: The private stony and rocky beach is in walking distance down the hill. The children had fun in the 2 pools. There are also beach and food bar and water sport rental services. The sea water was clear and refreshing. Service: very friendly, the reception was always available up to 22 pm. They always helped us. We had a broken shower tube, which has been changed after 5 min. The technician even fixed the bumper of my car! There is a club for children from 3 to 12 years available without charge. Landscape: awesome rocky mountains. It is really worth to visit the National Parks of Croatia as Krka with the waterfalls. We have rented a boat for ourselves to see some other beaches north from the Kornati area, which takes really a full day. The kids had a lot of fun. Beautiful old cities are almost everywhere in North Dalmatia like Nin, Pag or Sibenic. There is also a sandy beach in Nin, the other beaches are stone beaches. On the way back we had a stop in the National Park Paklenica: I finally found some original film places of Winnetou (German-Jugoslavian Karl May Western Movies with Pierre Brice and Lex Barker made in the 60ies). Amazing landscape, huge mountains, really worth to go there!
Review 65:Great apartments, everything is basically new. Modern kitchen, modern appliances, air conditioning, and a fabulous terrace to enjoy the sunset. They have their own reserved beach, including beach chairs and sun umbrellas, great for families. There are two pools as well. And they offer additional (included) services such as a children club where the children can play, and also a couple of restaurants. Really friendly and helpful staff. We enjoyed our stay there very much.
Review 66:Missing microwave in the appartment. Wi-Fi not working properly and should be free of charge. Missing loundry services (subsidised by nearby hotel).
Review 67:Excellent Staff, willing to help any time and open to feedback. Well-designed Appartments. Private Beach and Pools, with services (bar, wather spors center, etc.). Good infrastructure (especially Restaurant Rucola, Children Studio, grocery shop ...).
Review 68:The location.
Review 69:The staff were very friendly and the apartments were nice and very clean.
Review 70:no free WIFI which was really annoying and had to pay for towels
Review 71:Overall it was OK
Review 72:despite 150 €/day we had to pay for the linen and towels
Review 73:apartment
