This romantic B&B has 2 double bedrooms with a balcony, and 3 double rooms with a window with fantastic view of the lake. All rooms have private bathrooms.
The rich buffet breakfast is either served in the sitting room, a relaxing lounge with fireplace, or on the terraced grounds facing the lake.

Review 1：My Fiancé an I have a couple of tickets to Malpensa and no place to go. We decided to explore the Maggiore lake and we found this place that seemed to have a breathtaking view from the rooms. Well, everybody could take a good picture, so we didn't expect that much. Then we arrived and once opened the window we stopped breathing for a couple of minutes, with the mouth open in a slow motion "WOW". The landscape is incredible. The owners were if possible even better, they guided us in our 3 days trip with precious suggestions, making for us possible to discover great places not mentioned in any tourist guide. If you add to this recipe other ingredients like home-made cakes (apple and chocolate) for breakfast, and a the lovely atmosphere created by Sissy and Ricky (the owners), the result was just fabulous. We're looking forward to back in spring.

Review 7：(Background about us... We are a young couple 28 & 24 yrs old,Americans, and we are used to staying in 4-5 star hotels. We have neverstayed in a B&B)1) The location was perfect. There were beautiful views in every part of the house. The house is set in just the right spot in front of the islands! 2) The house is beautiful. We loved the stone siding and the beautiful walk up to the door. 3) Our rooms were so cozy and comfortable! It reminded me of being up north in Michigan (we are from Michigan, USA). 4) The breakfast was delicious! All homemade goods and the freshest ingredients. 5) The best part... Francesca. She is the best hostess. She makes you feel like FAMILY. I can't say enough good things about her. And she gives the best recommendations! Follow her advice!
Review 8：Breakfast was a very poor choice, nothing hot. Decor throughout needs attention,our room had 2 camp beds and not a double bed as advertised. Bathroom very dated with mould in areas. Would not recommend booking to anyone

Review 23：Francesca and Ricardo, the owners of LaSorgente were terrific. My husband had some health issues during our stay and they were genuinely concerned as well as very helpful. Francesca had great suggestions for restaurants in the area and things to do. She was delightful to chat with and had a wonderful sense of humor. The view was lovely, the gardens very pretty and access to the center of Baveno and Stresa very convenient.

Breakfasts lovingly prepared by Franchesca were enjoyed on the patio beside the lake. Franchesca's knowledge of the local area and beyond is of great value to travellers and her assistance in our planning was greatly appreciated. A wonderful memory always of our stay here.
Review 33：Exremely friendly and helpful owners. We stayed at the Annex appartment, which was in the local community. It was very clean with all amenities, new fitted bathroom with shower. Two balconies with fanatastic views over lake Maggiore and the mountains. Maria, the owner, is a lovely lady and welcomed us with a bottle of wine, and even made us pancakes for breakfast one day. Appartment gave more space than a hotel room, and more privacy. Location was outside of town centre, but could be reached by a ten-minute walk into Baveno. Free parking only a two minute walk away. Would give it a score of 11 out of 10!

Review 35：Not a great location if you don't have a car as the local roadsdon't seem to have dedicated pedestrian sidewalks. This porblemshould be down to the local government though.Could do with tea/coffee making facilities in the rooms. The trains nearby but not actually that loud to be fair. We could hear some of the activities in the bathroom of the neighbouring room. We wished it was sunny during our stay as the views would have been great!
Review 36：Clean and comfortable room with extra pillows and blanket. There was abalcony overlooking the lake.Heater in the room in case it gets cold. Nice view of the lake. Great homemade breakfast pastries which we could have eaten out of the terrace in front of the lake. Friendly cat! The location is close to other larger towns around the lake but it is advisable to hire a car. Very friendly and accomodating staff, Francesca and Riccardo, who know the local area well, especially the best place to eat! They looked up local information on boats and trains for us online and they gave us a lift to the train station when it was pouring with rain. They also kindly upgraded our room when we arrived since there was an earlier cancellation.
Review 37：The owner is a very personable woman who goes out of her way to extend awelcome. This was our first stop after arriving in Italy and we weredelighted with it. We had a nice view out over Lake Magoirri and thelocation was an easy walk into Baveno, where one can eat and take theboat to many other spots on the Lake. Breakfast was outstanding (thecheese strudel in particular).

Review 40：We stayed at the appartment, so not at the b&b. The appartment is wonderful as well as the owner Maria. If you want a quiet holiday between local people I really recommend this. It is a 10 minutes walk to the boulevard and 20 minutes walk to the beach. you can easily park the car.

The view from this clean, cozy and friendly b&b is amazing.You have to wake up to a sunrise over Lago Maggiore to really believeit. Francesca, the owner, was very attentive and helpful. She bakedsomething sweet and something savory each day for breakfast which alsoincluded a variety of fruits, cheeses, and fresh tomatoes. Francesca,who knows the area well, directed me to some very good local eateriesthat were "off the beaten path" with great food for good value. The b&bis very close to both Stresa and Baveno making its location ideal. Istayed for five nights and was sad to leave as the owners were sowelcoming and friendly. I thoroughly recommend this b&B.

Review 47：The only negative for us was the fact that, as we had travelled by train, we had to walk into Baveno from La Sorgente. This is not far - approx. 1 km - but it is on a busy and fairly narrow road with very limited pedestrian walk way which could be quite daunting at night.
Review 48：Our hosts were excellent - very welcoming and went out of their way to provide us with information about the area and activities on offer. They certainly go the extra mile. The breakfasts were also very good and varied with a great selection of home made pastries, breads, cakes and biscuits every day. The views from the rooms are outstanding.
