Reviews for Hotel Cecchin
Review 1:Lovely family-run hotel with old-world charm and gracious hosts. Clean and modern room, delicious and generous breakfast, fantastic location. easy walk to city center
Review 2:Insulation for sound between rooms is ok but could be better. We were disturbed by some people coming back late during the night. Overall very good
Review 3:No AC which is probably not a problem 95% of the time but it was 100 when we were there. This is obviously not the hotel's fault just people should be aware. There was a cool breeze even on hot nights, but had to leave windows open so some street noise early. Only thing they could do better is have some fresh fruit for breakfast.
Review 4:Location, pretty building on historic Roman bridge. Staff was great. Parking was free once you knew where to go assuming there was a space (which there was the whole four days we were there). Driving in and out of the city easy (once you knew the way, gmaps on phone helped).
Review 5:Parking fine. Poor signage and an OK from the owner resulted in a parking infringement. Still dont know why.
Review 6:Close to town & main attractions. Aosta is a very interesting city.
Review 7:If you have mobility problems, bear in mind hotel rooms go up to a 3rd floor level above ground level with no lift.
Review 8:Good location just outside the centre of Aosta. Worth booking a space in the garage if you come by car. Friendly, helpful, English-speaking staff. Room simply furnished but a good size. Good wifi. Good breakfast - including eggs and excellent cheese and ham.
Review 9:Beware of parking violations
Review 10:Friendly owners and extremely well run hotel, kept very clean. Excellent position with parking either with hotel (7Euro) or cheap parking nearby (but beware the car park cleaning on Mondays between 5am and 9am) Very good value - have stayed here on previous visit and would go back to Cecchin. Batsman restaurant on the nearby square is superb!!!!
Review 11:Nothing really- considering the price
Review 12:Nice clean hotel in a lovely spots.. Everything you need for a comfortable stop over. Polite service and nice breakfast.
Review 13:We ordered a double room, but there were 3 beds, and this space could have been used for a couple of chairs.
Review 14:The owner was very helpful finding showing the way to the hotel, as the bridge was closed. Also the possibility of a garage which he showed, and it was cheap. Breakfast was OK. Nice room and bathroom.
Review 15:No dislikes!
Review 16:A perfect stay in a beautiful location. Deeply satisfying, old fashioned hospitality by a family run business. Proprietor Jean Marie and his family treated us with care and respect. They assisted us in any way needed. Will be sure to come back on our next visit to Aosta.
Review 17:I could have done with another pillow and I'm sure had I asked there would have been no problem. Otherwise nothing negative to say.
Review 18:Great place to stay. Spotlessly clean and always welcoming.
Review 19:No complimentary coffe/tea..... We were informed that he provides Sky but not useful in Italian. Overpriced. Fair but not good breakfast

Review 46:Had a fantastic time at the Ceccin. Very friendly and helpful host, clean and spacious room with a fantastic view. Lovely little hotel in a stunning location and very good value for money. Grazie.
Review 47:The owner speaks good English. The hotel is an attractive building on the pedestrian Ponte Romano, within walking distance of the centre of Aosta which has interesting Roman features. We were lucky to be there on a Monday when the Son et Lumiere happens in the Roman Theatre. We recommend the Osteria del Nando (also speak good English) for an excellent dinner. Private parking is worth booking if you have a car.
