Review 1：Highly recommended hotel. The room was beautiful, the private hot tub on the terrace is amazing, you can watch the stars from the warm water of the tub. Everything was clean and the staff was very kind and helpful. There is a beautiful garden around the houses, very well kept. We especially loved the adorable kitten that live there. The cats were a discreet and pleasant presence and we hope that the hotel staff keeps taking good care of them. Great breakfast, also with room service and restaurant in the hotel. Huge and comfortable bed, new and clean bathroom with a wonderful and very broad shower. The swimming pool is also very clean, though we didn't use it because we went to the beach.

Review 2：The Golden Sun is a convenient hotel for you if you are willing to visit Naxos and have booked a car in advance. The swimming pool is of reasonable size but it would be a shame not to enjoy everything this wonderful and big island has to offer (Mt Zeus, small villages, restaurants and beach bars or nice snorkeling coves). The hotel is relatively clean (if you can live with finding hair ball in your shower) and of standard value for money (if you come during the "horror touristic season" and do not want to sleep in your car). It is definitely not a luxury hotel but the staff is willing to help and sometimes it worked for us (not for the car unfortunately, but never mind, that's why the wifi code can be so useful), except with this one guy, supposedly driver and janitor who just failed at everything : - if you book him to drive and pick you up at the port, don't wait for him. - if he drives you to the town, prepare to hitchhike back to the hotel. - and when you have an appointment with him for a drive from the hotel and you wonder where he is after 20 minutes, take a look at the bar, he's enjoying his third morning beer in front of the clients (probably to focus his attention on the coming drive), or even better why don't you just pay attention and follow this uncomfortable violin noise, once you'll find the "artist" guilty of this barely sustainable sound you'll realize that in his wild dreams the driver thinks is a musician. Bottom line : you NEED a CAR !

Review 3：Room was a little outdated. Bathroom needed a remodelation, shower didnt have a curtain, so the hole bathroom got wet when showering. It is 15-20 minutes walk to the beach.

Review 4：The common areas where very confortable. Breakfast was very good, and the shuttle service to the beach and the town was a great plus. It had air conditioner. Cleaning service every day.

Review 5：The first (and only) evening we had dinner at the hotel, we had to wait almost 2 hours for the main course!!! Other guests got their meal before us, even though we we first. There was only one waitress doing everything.... not her fault

Review 6：Nice and friendly staff. Good transfer possibilities, since the hotell lies approx. 1km from the wonderful beaches and 2-3 km from Naxos town. Nice pool area. Staff very helpful with handling rental cars. They car/MC was brought directly to the hotel. We are satisfied with our stay.

Review 13：Very familyfriendly. Spacious rooms. It is nicely calm, especially in the nicht. Good location with lovely beaches close by as well as the proximity to Chora.

Review 14：the hotel is far from the beach, we walked there once, but there is no walking roads. So you must walk about half an hour in the hot sun among cars and mopeds. The departure hours for the hotel shuttle are not good, it is impossible to use both ways to and from the beach or the city. There is no public transportation to and from the hotel, the nearest bus stop is 1 Km away! The staff was not very friendly, they weren`t rude or something, but not friendly at all, the woman at the reception (in the morning until afternoon) seemed not so competent. On August 15th they had a family celebration or something by the pool, the music was so loud, that we had to leave the pool area. I mean, it is ok to have a family celebration, but if you run a hotel, you do not want to annoy your guests, do you? The beds are very hard, the room needs to be renovated soon, there was mould in the shower. The price is definitely too high for this hotel, you can find other, cheaper ones by the water.

Review 16：It would not have been very easy to cook for 5 in the small kitchenette but that was ok for us as we had not planned to. The mattresses were a bit hard but after a few nights you do get used to them!

Review 17：The staff were helpful. There was one who served us and she was always smiling which was nice. The rooms were cleaned every day and the towels/top sheets were changed every day. The pool was very pleasant and not too crowded. The breakfast was buffet style (help yourself) and there was always plenty to have. We ate a couple of times in the evening there and the food was good at a very reasonable price. A good size car park.

Review 18：the hotel is a bit far from the beach, we walked there some times, but as there is no walking roads, but you must walk among the cars and mopeds, the walking is not very nice with small children. But there is some nice animals among the way, as donkeys :)

Review 19：The atmosphere in the hotel area is really relaxed. Kids can plan safely in the hotel area, which is quite big, since the hotel consists of several buildings. There is also a small playing park for the little ons. The pool is really nice, and it was open all day. The breakfast is delicious. They have minibus transportation service to and from Agios Prokopios beach and to town (Chora) several times a day, which is good and makes it possible to stay without renting a car. The rooms are very clean and spacious.

Review 20：The departure hours for the shuttle made it impossible to use both ways to and from the beach or Naxos city. It also never departed in time and was always full so you had to wait until it came back for another pick up.

Review 37：The pool didn't open til 10 am and by that time the sun was too strong. We would like it open earlier. Also breakfast was very poor, almost no fruit ! Not much variety in food either. Beds were too hard.
