Reviews for Club Hotel Eilat

Review 1:Before check in we had to wait 2,5 (!) hours in line. Then we had to move twice and Only at midnight we finally had a room where we could stay (before: smoking room instead of non-smoking; noise. The walls are like of papee and one can understand EVERY word of the neighbors, hear EVERYTHING. Impossible to fall asleep.) Furthermore the staff tries nothing to solve basic problems such as offering an acceptable room which is clean enough and where the shower works etc. The only answer one gets is "sorry, all rooms are booked." Which is not true if you check it yourself online. It was a real fight to get the minimum comfort which one may need. Don't book there, a stay at this hotel takes your energy. This experience definitely thought me to take other people's feedback seriously.

Review 2:Good location, next to the beach.

Review 3:The reception was very bad. We received our suite at 6 pm although they were told that we are with childrrn with special needs. We stood in the queue twice because the rooms were not prepared. The workers cleaned the rooms after 14 pm.the security staff were very tough treated us in an impolite manner

Review 4:The overall view of the hotel

Review 5:Very few pools were open. Everything fun for kids closed very early like the pools and game room. The beds were not comfortable. The decor was deteriorating in places in the room...like the rug was torn and wearing out.

Review 6:We liked the breakfast and the location

Review 7:From a hotel, that says it has 5* and hosts also international tourists, we would expect more helpful attitude and at least basic english. We needed to confirm our shuttle service and from 3 people at the reception desk, barely anyone spoke english and didn‘t understand what we wanted, and didn’t even pretend to act helpful, and seemed bothered by us.

Review 8:Accomodation and location were ok, nice pool area and decent breakfast

Review 9:1. It's not really on the sea, it's 5-10 minutes walk 2. Very limited food on the breakfast (no meat, bad coffee)

Review 10:1. Good position, not far from the sea 2. Several pools in the hotel area

Review 11:When we arrived we found out that the hotel is charging us extrapayment for baby bed!!! While we booked room for 2 adults, 6y childand 1y baby #unfair!! Staff isn't cooperative, rooms aren't ingood condition, breakfast is poor. On the second day big group arrivedand the hotel was focused only on that group which gave us the feelingthat we are the group guests and not the hotel guests. I won't gothere again

Review 12:Location is not too bad

Review 13:Very bad parkin, 4 time from 8 I found my self parking on the street 100m+ away from hotel and paying for that. Personal is not willing to help many times. Kitchen didn't has basic staff for cooking (in case you plan too)

Review 14:Good physical location, very good swimming pools, big rooms(we took family suite). Supermarket in the bulding itself with fresh bread. Rooms in good condition

Review 15:Baby's bed extra charge but i was indicated on booking that there was a baby The change money to hotel very very bad We had many shutdown electricity, strangly over the night (they need to make some economy ???!!!) The room service smoke in the corridor ... !!! The room service came to room when we sleeps Menage was not done every day ... we need to ask, also for towel ... Strangly they came to our room in the evening We could enter in our room not before 5 pm but we need to check out on 10am ... The security is very agressive and for the exit that was a put out not a check out I'm very disappointed I do not recommend this hotel

Review 16:The service was pretty bad. It took almost 2 hours (!!!) to check in. After that we received everything we needed, but not always in a timely manner. The staff was not overly nice, but fine.

Review 17:The pools are great and there is a kids room and entertainment for kids. Our kids had a lot of fun.

Review 18:Room was excessively small. We are a family of five people and there was barely any room to walk around. They were cheap on the distribution of towels. There was no view, it gave off to a parked car. The free parking is limited at best. They ask you to park underneath the hotel and leave you to your own perils. Parking was full and others were parking behind others with complete disregard to the other guests. If there is no more room, well then too bad you are on your own. Staff doesn't make an effort to speak in English. The lifeguard insisted I was Israeli and that I was pretending not to speak Hebrew. Value for money is not there, this hotel is excessively overpriced for what you get. There are also probably other more recent hotels with better overall deal offerings

Review 19:Overall, this is a very nice property, with nice pools and relatively nice grounds. Well located in the heart of the city and within walking distance to all the city activities.

Review 20:Noise and bad smell everywhere all the time. No room service. Everything is breaking and furniture look very old. Sticky floor in the room. I travel a lot and I always go to 5 stars hotel and I wouldn’t give 3 stars to this one.

Review 21:Funny staff that doesnt speak English.. Could use some renovations. Quality in general OK, but for a 3* hotel. Not 5.

Review 22:Excellent location, large pools, good wi-fi in lounge. 2 supermarkets next door. Free private parking. Funny staff that doesnt speak English...

Review 23:tight parking

Review 24:Spacious room, very well equipped kitchen, great additional attractions in the hotel, good breakfast, very convenient location, good price for the room

Review 25:many people . its crowded with many arabs and they all shout and shout and the children play and shout until 2 a.m . and also the women in the pool where covering their heads and with clothes they got into the water . that's really disgusting .

Review 26:pool . staff and aome things in the breakfast . the hotel is situated near a mall and near the sea only cross the street .

Review 27:Seems to be that kids got bored in lack of no activities for them. Also the water were very cold for this time of year, should think of getting it warmer.

Review 28:Checkin was a nightmare Directions to checkin location did not exist When we got to the hotel (about 16:50) we took a number. We got out of checkin at 1845 - after almost two hours!!! This is totally unacceptable for a 5 star hotel. It was highest season but they should have done more to get it right. Checkin-checkout hours are problematic 10:00, 16:00

Review 29:Nice room Breakfast ok Location is near center Good value for money

Review 30:Unlike most hotels in Israel, breakfast was not included. .Outdoor pool and hot tub, which I never found, closed at 5. Since I only checked in after 4 and was on a trip all the next day, and had to check out by 10, so I didn't get to use them.

Review 31:A really nice suite at a great price. I suspect this was not the usual price for this. Free Wifi in lobby, worked some in the room

Review 32:Wish they didn't charge for their Wi-Fi. Hotel seemed perfect for family with kids. Not recommended to young couple!

Review 33:Seemed they had everything that you would ask! Very good location! Easy access to clubs, restaurants, shopping center! Also central bus station was within walking distance. Can get taxi within 1-2 minutes!

Review 34:Reception was located on the end of the lobby, and we didt find it immediately. Staff don't speak English. :( Room (we had luxe) was very dirty and had a old furniture. Carpet was very dusty and nasty. In the living room we found a cockroach, jast on the table.((( it was very awful!!!! In the weekend these came a lot of large local families.

Review 35:Very good location, two minutes to the sea, and center all of Eilats life. One warm pool. Supermarket is located the 1st floor in the hotel. Nice price. Big chose on breakfast and taste. In the room (luxe) a lot of towels.

Review 36:The pools are terribly dated. The pools and other common areas are in need of repair.

Review 37:The rooms were in good condition, were spacious, and were clean, quite and comfortable.

Review 38:Cats everywhere No coffee in room No late check out No internet in room Bad tv sound No bath.plug and shower not working Green pool and no adult pool Uncomfortable sun loungers Dirty gym old equipment

Review 39:the dining room breakfast

Review 40:Checkout at 10am!!! The building is very cold and wet, terrible smell of old wet carpets in the corridors, it's rather than preparing for the season it is possible to live. Also no soft floor coverings, barely stayed for 1 night. Cleaners do not even understand English.

Review 41:Price for 2-rooms, close with airport and sea

Review 42:Next door neighbours smoking...

Review 43:Everything was nice... And for the price we paid about 230$ for 3 nightsfamily of 5 (incl. Baby), it was worth every penny, and more. Pleasenote, that this was at low season, and we had the hotel to ourselves!!!!I can not speak for high season

Review 44:Several other guests were cooking in their apartment, noisy at all hours and walking around their hotel rooms half naked with the door open. These people were clearly Muslim and appeared to have set up camp in their doorways.

Review 45:We managed to get a fantastic rate for a great location with lots of on site things to do. Staff were helpful and the facilities were clean.

Review 46:Not all reception staff could soeak English Loud entartainment every night, needed earplagues as noise was great in the room. Dirty Our bed liben wasn't change during 7 nights stay Lobby was very noisy Free WI Fi only in the oobby, not in rooms

Review 47:Very good breakfast Great location Comfortable room

Review 48:Unlike any international hotel I have swayed in worldwide the reception staff did not have adequate English skills hence we were given misinformation resulting in a lot of confusion.Had to ask for basic tea/coffee etc, told not supplied so bought it only to find it then delivered to the room.

Review 49:Room great but missing with basics such as tea towell, no hotel compendium to explain details such as laundry location.

Review 50:No Wifi in the suite No enough staff for the busy checkout time The annoying sound in the "submarine like" elevator.

Review 51:The comfort of the suite The location of our suite in the resort The good Israeli breakfast The underground parking

Review 52:internet only in lobby, and a bit spotty at that was told that no internet available in room but then someone else said that there is at cost so didn't like confusion on this front

Review 53:Great location, great atmosphere, nice pools, nice room, basic kitchen in room

Review 54:The staff was not helpful, the hotel is for children, so if you are not traveling with children avoid this hotel, is noisy and weird.

Review 55:Location was the only good thing, breakfast wasn't bad

Review 56:There was wedding in the garden till 3 a.m. No chance to sleep, reception didn't resolved this, and started ring directly at 10 a.m. about checking out, have no idea when people have to sleep. Don't stay here.

Review 57:Neer the beach.

Review 58:The pool and outdoor Jacuzzi/hot tub closed too early. Some of the other guests were annoyingly loud, particularly at night.

Review 59:Wonderful location, a quick walk to the boardwalk. Spacious, very comfortable. Adjustable beds. Jacuzzi tub in the room. Fabulous buffet dinner (for an extra charge, but well worth it). Excellent fresh baked goods available in the onsite store, along with many grocery items and prepared foods, all kosher. Family friendly.

Review 60:The room was in deplorable conditions. The cupboard sliding door broken in the middle, made the cupboard and drawers useless. Strong smell of mold and the carpets like had his own ecosystem. NO AIR CONDITIONING in a boiling hot room. Horrible service including the supervisor. And as a condition to have your room you HAVE TO WEAR a plastic bracelet with commercials. The room was impossible to find, located in a different building. THIS IS NOT A 5 STARS HOTEL. Barely 3 stars. Make yourself a favor and look for a different hotel.

Review 61:Location

Review 62:Even for Israeli standards the staff at the reception was extremely unfriendly and it took forever to be attended at the reception (mainly because the staff had to deal with so many upset guests). Parking is quite bad (the space too small for the size of todays cars).

Review 63:The apartment was nice and spacious

Review 64:food not as before, facilities of the eating-room, and always the programs all in Hebrew, not in anther language especially in Arabic

Review 65:location, near the center, management, excellent for the children, dealing very good with the customers.

Review 66:it should be cleaned!!!! too noisy... stuff not nice, not helpful... its a huge place and only 2 receptionist work at a time ..... big line for simple question.... lobby bar stuff doesn't speak english.....

Review 67:view, location

Review 68:Noice Lack of service No internet in rooms although promised (even with additional payment). Bad smell. Maybe this hotel was nice 20 years ago, but I would not recommend it unless you only need a place to sleep.

Review 69:challenge with the parking. not enough spots for all the hotel guests.

Review 70:The central location, The variety of swimming-pools especially the deep water one. Breakfast, night activities and shows, the comfortable and clean suite, the kitchen, the staff...

Review 71:The pool is very large but is certainly not a water park. There is oneslide and no things for kids to play with (like in the photos). They dohave group games on Saturday but it was all in Hebrew so my children (7,10) werent able to understand . My 7 yo did use the kids club facilityto watch a Disney film in Hebrew. We were first put in the newersection, but the noise outside was unbearable until 2 (and some even at4) in the morning. There was no sound proofing. The ac also didnt workwell. We moved rooms to a another that looked the same but was clearlyolder (carpets coming up in hallways and paint needs new coat etc). Itwas quieter- The kids had fun but were disappointed that it wasnt likethey thought. The staff was responsive but their English was not good.It was surprising hotel event documents were only in Hebrew and moststaff did not speak any English at all (and those who did spoke little).

Review 72:The hotel's food was good- the buffets were very nice with plenty ofchoices. There were many kids at the hotel. There is also a smallsupermarket inside the hotel, which is quite helpful.

Review 73:Too many young boys shouting till the morning, security are tired or don't want to deal with them

Review 74:The rooms are comfortable, the facilities are excellent, the location is perfect

Review 75:I expected the pool to be open 24/7 - no way! there is nothing planned by them for the night - I would expect a night club, dancing salon etc... after 10:30 it is dead. In some rooms the matrasses are very old and can cause backache. If you need anything you might wait quite a long time to be answered; In room internet (WI-FI costs extra $12 per day. Dinner was terrible' did not like it at all. You casn get much better and cheaper in the café across the street. In general - I did not enjoy this vacation - it has been a waist of money ( only $2000 + flights)

Review 76:Rooms are nice and quite big; Kitchen is supplied and the pools are nice. Breakfast is excellent

Review 77:Parking. There was no parking available in the garage and we were sent to park behind the hotel. After several tries we were able to find the entrance from the back of the hotel that was through the employye entrance hidden in the underground drive in. The gym lacked excersise equimpent and only had bicycles.

Review 78:Good suite. Excellent breakfast buffet. Very good location.

Review 79:Check-in bad,swimming pool dirty..needs renovation

Review 80:The gym was perfect...

Review 81:OLD ROOMS

Review 82:GREAT LOCATION

Review 83:, location,different pools for kids,good breakfast

Review 84:Paid wifi ! Paid gym Kitchen should have at least some tea bags

Review 85:very noisy; no wifi; impossible to find a parking place; very unhelpfull personal; Better find another hotel:)

Review 86:the hotel was very poorly maintained and especially around the oil area.

Review 87:Cold and ugly and gigantic

Review 88:Reasonable price

Review 89:Reception was slow and amateur/

Review 90:Pool closed in february : not mentionned !!

Review 91:Location and rate

Review 92:The wifi didn't work well at all.

Review 93:No internet access in rooms, only in lobby, when your room is in fourth floor - it is really inconvenient.

Review 94:We got really fair price.

Review 95:Beds were terrible. No wifi in the rooms.

Review 96:Location and cleanliness

Review 97:Lack of staff - no service and management. The hotel is a little rundown and need renovation.

Review 98:Free parking and the breakfast was fine

Review 99:Great value, great location

Review 100:No wi-fi in room. A map with the layout of the hotel would be helpful as it's a big place with a confusing layout.

Review 101:Excellent value for money

Review 102:Free wifi in lobby but would have liked to have it in room.

Review 103:Comfortable, spacious room, smooth check-in.

Review 104:- no heated pool

Review 105:- off season room price - breakfast - location close to red sea beach - we got a lot of towels ;-) - big studio room - balcony

Review 106:No Wi-Fi at room

Review 107:Excellent

Review 108:no wifi and no lobby to relax.

Review 109:the location and spacious rooms.

Review 110:More written information in english

Review 111:the room was big a nice

Review 112:Worst value for money! Should be rated a 2 star hotel! Sleazy and cheesy!

Review 113:Nothing!

Review 114:No wifi available for purchase in room. Poor wifi availability in lobby. No ventilation in room.

Review 115:Location, space and design of room.

Review 116:Helpless custum of applause

Review 117:Nothing

Review 118:Sauna clearness is bad and for this you must to pay even.

Review 119:kids bed was terrible, not comfortable, no parking in high season.

Review 120:close to everything, big room,

Review 121:No late check out

Review 122:Great pools

Review 123:- bad for the parents. - not clean - bad logistics - the workers not nice - Dirty towels with stains

Review 124:good for kids

Review 125:For us it was a bit crowded but nice otherwise.

Review 126:Great for kids

Review 127:Very dirty, very noisy, hated the stupid lift spouse to be submarine...Annoying sound... First time in Eilat did not enjoy my hotel. Last yearstayed in music prima and was much better... Sorry but I hope it onlyhelps to improve

Review 128:the reception always busy, the check in was horrible and took hours, and the way it works, you have to sign in your name and payment, then you have to leave and when the room will be available they will call you by phone. and if you have an out of the country number then you need to come back to the reception and check the availability once in a while. the service sucks people keep ignoring you. and we had a reservation got two room but received one room only by 7:00 pm and the second room they tried to force our check in the next day after midnight. and instead of apology they kept answering with bad attitude

Review 129:The problem of this hotel is the long waiting for the room check in its like to cross over the world And I think its no close to 5 starts as they claim and service really bad and long waiting for all

Review 130:The view of the hotel

Review 131:The hotel looks cheesy, old-fashioned. It does not worth 5 stars for sure. I would give 3 stars in an European range. The personal does not really care for you. Some workers enter into your room without any reason. I think there are nicer hotels for this price to choose in Eilat.

Review 132:This big hotel is easy to find and close to the Red sea. There are outdoor pools and self serving restaurant which is quite well.

Review 133:Long long lines at front desk. Pool and hot tub closed at 5 pm. Poor communication at front desk.. Way overpriced.

Review 134:Cute theme and good location near center of Eilat.

Review 135:So big it's hard to find your room and you have to walk a few minutes everywhere you go; the pool area closes at 5 pm every day; you have to pay to use the fitness center

Review 136:Fit 5 people pretty well which was nice because not many other hotels in the area can accommodate that; breakfast was great everyday; was packed on the weekend but empty during the weekdays; beautiful pool area; nice that there is a spa in the hotel; right by the promenade and a very close walk to everything
