Condo Hotel Garni Ciasa Urban sells fast on our site. Overlooking the forest and Sasso Santa Croce mountain, Garni Ciasa Urban is 5 minutes' walk from the centre of Badia. It serves traditional home cooking at its restaurant and wooden Stube bar.
Ciasa Urban offers a choice of rooms and studios, all featuring balconies or terraces with sun loungers and mountain views. Each one has a traditional South Tyrol design with parquet floors and wooden furniture. You also have free Wi-Fi and satellite TV.
Homemade cakes and juices, fresh fruit and cold meats and cheese are served at the buffet breakfast. The restaurant specialises in soups and homemade strudel. Bacon and cheese are made by the owner's uncle.
You can relax out in the garden where you have a children's playground and 2 terraces with tables and chairs. During summer, BBQs are arranged while in winter you can enjoy a mulled wine outdoors in the snow.
Free parking is provided for cars, bikes and motorcycles. The Alta Badia ski slopes are less than 5 minutes away by car and you have a ski storage area with boot warmer.

Review 2：This family run hotel is all that you could want & more. You must eat in the restaurant, we were spoilt with 4 courses of superb home cook traditional dishes each night.

Review 4：Exceptional location on top of the village, close to Kreuzkofel and many other Dolomite mountains. Cosy and well-equipped studio with a breathtaking balcony view. All of this topped by the impressive hospitality of the family, including a lovely breakfast and delicious local dinner cuisine, if desired (at reasonable cost).

Review 7：We are English speaking and the owners aren't, however this was no barrier to the warmth we felt from the couple that catered for us and helped us with anything we needed. Highly recommend eating in - we ate all three evening meals there, all were terrific. I didn't see anyone in the restaurant leave a thing of any of the FOUR courses offered.

Review 9：We really enjoyed the Garni Ciasa Urban. Quiet, comfortable, spotless studio apartment on the top floor. Wonderful traditional food cooked by the family. Fast access by short chair lift to the fantastic Dolomiti superski area, one of Europe's best, and a couple of beautiful, and uncrowded, ski slopes right on the doorstep too.

Review 19：Food was delicious, and the hosts were absolutely lovely. They did not speak English, but speak both German and Italian, and with wifi there was google translate to help us when our italian failed! Very happy to help assist in walking/hike suggestions.

The location up the hill from the main road and village meant it was extremely quiet, with superb views across the valley to the Santa Croce. The family run hotel is only 7 years old and is beautifully appointed with all needs catered for. The staff were all family, and could not have been more helpful, including doing some washing for us. Breakfast was as good as it gets, and dinner was good too. We felt they would do anything we wanted, we only had to ask. Highly recommended.
