Reviews for Isrotel Riviera Club
Review 1:The furnishings were basic, with thin mattresses, pillows and blankets. The level of comfort here is not as good as when staying at a "real" hotel. The crib they provided for our baby broke when we placed him in it, and would have been very dangerous if it had happened at night when we weren't around. The hotel did replace the crib quite quickly though.
Review 2:The location of the hotel is great, right next to the lagoon and five minutes from the promenade and from the ice mall. The apartment was clean, and had a separate kitchen/living room and bedroom, which is good when travelling with kids. The kids play room is great for younger kids, and they also had a room with play stations for the older kids.
Review 3:The noise after 10 p.m, which came from couple of rooms.
Review 4:The swimming pool, good supermarket. It is very close to red sea. Nice and helpful staff from front desk. Thank you for everything. I will back to this hotel next year.
Review 5:All technical equipment was working bad. Water heater did not switch off automatically. Oven did not work correctly. Conditioning did not heat and during night time it was quite chill.
Review 6:Place was great. Nice view to the swimming pool side.
Review 7:Apartment is small. The pool is nice but unfortunetaly (in december) not heated - you'll be freezing if you will be brave enough to try...
Review 8:Quiet area
Review 9:Hotel's staff very unresponsive and doesn't understand English(except for one older gentleman who was very helpful and had languageskills). Apartment itself has seen better days - dirty walls, curtains, torn and stained bedclothes, lamps that are almost falling out of walls. And the apartment was not on the second floor facing the pool aspromised in pictures but on the first floor and facing a fence and abush with old underpants hanging on the branch.
Review 10:Good location. Nice pool. Apartment's kitchen has all necessaryitems. Good that there is a small shop in the hotel where employeesactually understand English and/or Russian.
Review 11:late check in was disappointing (however they gave us a cake as a gift for this), also one single bed was loud and scrappy.
Review 12:Location, parking and value for the money. Apartment was great for 4 people (a couple and two mothers).
Review 13:rooms crammed. black out no tv bad management. way overpriced. no dining room, ad misleading. very bad cleaning service. no towels, rooms very small no room to move. uncomfortable. reception overcharge us by 300 nis. way overpriced.
Review 14:nothing,
Review 15:It seemed as though some of the facilities were not available due this being off peak - eg. Access to the room through some of the other external doors would have been more convenient; the cinema was not available.
Review 16:Convenient location. Cheap by comparison to what else was available (but still expensive). The kids loved the Playstation games room.
Review 17:Hotel is NOT good value for money. Its basic and quitre frankly well below acceptable standards. Rooms were dirty, no towles at the pool when needed and staff (bar one or two) were generally unhelpful and and do not have a can do attitude. Be aware there are no meal options so with kids it can be inconvinient.
Review 18:The pool was OK but not monitored so full of hooligans
Review 19:There was nothing to do in the hotel you had to leave the hotel if u wanted to do something no shows at night not even one night inthe week and the weather was not good and you was forced to go out in it and in the bathroom there is no were to put the hand towel
Review 20:The rooms were nice
Review 21:Parking arrangement is poor Room sofa for children sleep is poor Toaster oven working badly Smelly Shower curtain Not cleaning your room in Saturday It takes ages to walk from hotel entrance to your room Free wifi not working on mobile phones
Review 22:Good location Nice pool Has all you need to cook for kids Hotel supermarket is convenient
Review 23:Small claustrophobic rooms with small windows. A lack of utensils in the very basic, rundown kitchenette. Crowded pool area
Review 24:Located centrally in Eilat. Competitively priced. A good base.
Review 25:Lots of mosquitoes inside the rooms, flying all around and crushed on the walls. In addition, the folding bed, I was sleeping on, folded all of a sudden when I lied down on it. Twice.
Review 26:Good location, close to the beach and promenade. There is a supermarket in the hotel.
Review 27:The pool closes at 18:30, it was so hot that we would like to stay alittle longer... Room could be better cleaned.Kitchen is very small and the appliances old and rusty, I wouldnt be able to cook there. But for breakfast it was ok. It would be better to also have a Microwave.
Review 28:For a beach apartment, I wasn't expecting any luxury. The room has aseparate bedroom, and a sofa bed. Very good for a couple with 2children. They have a market where you can buy food for breakfast, fruits, etc and its open until 23:00 Very handy. The pool is nice, everynight they wash the floor, so its always clean. The Manager Eli was very professional and understanding to solve my problem of double booking without the charges (I booked the hotel and my husband booked it too). Location is very good. Couple minutes walk from beach, from Ice Mall, and right near the Theater. We watched the Show WOW and it was Very very good! Parking was easy on location. No charge.
Review 29:Swimming Pool was so cold, kind or ruins the experience. I thought it was a family hotel which it was, the cinema wasnt open....only in the summer !!!
Review 30:Location
Review 31:We were booked to stay from 4th Jan to 12th Jan but without any notification or warning the hotel closed on 11th January, all staff left electrics off but we were still in it
Review 32:The room
Review 33:the only thing we were unhappy about was that there weren't enough cooking utensils in the room ie extra pot and pan and corkscrew opener
Review 34:Reception lovely Gardens and pool fabulous Room pleasant, spacious and clean Hotel supermarket very useful would recommend to friends and family
Review 35:When we got there we checked in we had to pay for Wi-Fi Front desk staff was rude she did not explain properly why we had to pay for Wi-Fi bed was terrible we asked for a king size bed they gave us two single bed attached together with two single mattresses on my honeymoon I had to sleep away from my wife because the bed wasn't stable enough parking was a nightmare the second day we had to look for parking outside the hotel cleaning crew second day and a third day were terrible they never changed the sheet or the pillow cover
Review 36:Good location. clean room when we got there Close to Every were
Review 37:Very dirty. Everywhere smell of cigarette. The room wasn't ready. After our request the personal cleaned the room. But during our visit our room wasn't cleaned
Review 38:Impolite and rather rude staff and an overall unpleasant atmosphere. Noisy swimming pool with loud unpleasant music. No free Wi-Fi.
Review 39:Located at the north of Eilat in proximity to other major hotel. Reasonably equipped kitchenette. Very clean rooms & facilities and comfortable mattresses.
Review 40:This hotel was a true disappointment. We arrived at the posted check-in time, but the hotel only had one person working and that made the wait quite long. There was also some artificial smell in the lobby that I am sure is covering up something worse. Little did I realize how accurate other reports about the aging of this hotel. The walls are in need of repair and paint. The room was sparse, drab and basic. We had a room overlooking the pool. At night no one was outside, as the pool was closed, yet there was loud piped in music until at least midnight. We asked that it be turned off or down. The front desk said fine, but nothing was done. This room was worth half the money we paid for it.
Review 41:Older facilities, needs updates, paper thin walls, and 40shekles/day for internet.
Review 42:Great location, large rooms, a good option for those on a budget.
Review 43:Needs a much better room air conditioner system. They have a sensor thatturns off the a/c when no one is in the room or if the door is open.No thermastat. Our first night was a hot nighmare until they fixed theproblem and explained their system. The manager gave us a paid breakfastat a five star hotel to make up for the problem. That was very nice. Itwould have been nicer if they had at least a small snack bar.
Review 44:Nice size room with kitchenette. Nice swimming pool. Courteous staff.Great location.
Review 45:The reception area and hallways downstairs smelled from the toilets. The lack of free wifi is insulting and unnecessary (70 IS for 24 hours is the worst rate I've seen). the place was noisy at night and the pool closing at 6:30 PM was insulting.
Review 46:Beds were comfortable and shower was good.
Review 47:Rooms are quite small. Pool is not heated.
Review 48:Nice hotel with comfortable rooms. Close to the beach and center.
Review 49:Well located.
Review 50:Pas de bar ni restaurant
Review 51:Le concept Made in mek rose place
Review 52:evrything! good velue for money
Review 53:Real value for money. A clean apartment / room.
Review 54:we have not balcony or terrace...
Review 55:swimming pool
Review 56:Friendly service , warm and comforting staff made us feel at home.
Review 57:Competent efficient and helpful desk staff
Review 58:No restrictions for smokers, they are every where and nobody stop them
Review 59:price
Review 60:The air conditionair was very poor and was barely working. It was very hot in the room
Review 61:No sports facilities.
Review 62:Nice swinmming pool and garden. Free parking
Review 63:Nothing.
Review 64:The rooms around the pool, the simplicity and gentleness of the staff, the location.
Review 65:kitchen cleaner and better ecquipped WiFi is very expensive!
Review 66:nice and clean pool and the area
Review 67:Atmosfaire
Review 68:Cleanses Location
Review 69:You are better-off booking a room in a youth hostel for that price. This is not a real hotel!
Review 70:The location is good – very close to the north beach.
Review 71:The room is a little like a hostel
Review 72:Location is perfect, atmosphere relaxing
Review 73:Close to the beach
Review 74:not enough near parking
Review 75:room with patio to pool supermarket in hotel movie theatre
Review 76:- small and dirty kitchenette - unpleasant staff - no free wifi - unpleasant atmosphere in the hotel
Review 77:- swimming pool - airco - location
Review 78:No internet No restaurant
Review 79:Self Laundry
Review 80:Services lacking. Pool closes early
Review 81:Young people running all the night during the hotel. It was impossible to sleep !
Review 82:Pool, rooms
Review 83:room with garden patio was great. staff were all very nice.
Review 84:Very tired hotel with limited facilities i.e. no bar/restaurant (that was open). More apartment than a hotel.
Review 85:Location is good - it also has some architectural merit.
Review 86:The rate, on the face of it was fair until you got to the hotel and experienced the hotel. The charge for WiFi is steep in today's world and the Kitchen was ill equipped with old dilapidated appliances. The Fridge didn't work at first and we had to get maintenance to fix it. We drove to Eilat, and the hotel was difficult to find at first. The bedding was for singles, and would not fit the whole bed. The pull out was also uncomfortable.
Review 87:The hotel is in a decent position and the accommodation was adequate. I would have preferred a real bed in the second room rather than a pull out couch bed that was really 2 singles put together.
Review 88:Very old the floor not clean and the towels smell. I booked for a suit registered to be 50 m but I am sure it was a simple connected rooms.
Review 89:It is close to the beach,,, very convenient for a family with children. The parking and the supermarket were excellent.
Review 90:Kitchenette faucet projected in the air when first turned on (was not tightened), spraying water throughout the room. Room pretty basic.
Review 91:Pleasant Hotel, not noisy even during Passover, nice pool area, helpful staff, close to the Promenade/Beach.
Review 92:The rooms were tiny. Not enough space. No restaurant in the hotel. Very expensive and doesn't include breakfast. No value for money.
Review 93:Facilities are modern. Walking distance to the beach and restaurants.
Review 94:not so clean.not on the beach. not thst luxorius hotel in the world.
Review 95:great swimming pool, the location was ok, great water stream in the showers and the room was very spacious. all, of course relatively to the price.
Review 96:We had an apartment for 4, it had no outdoor space and very basic self catering facilities, you had to pay for wifi
Review 97:The location, 5 mins walk to beach and restaurants, the pool area was very nice plenty of sun loungers.
Review 98:Lack of WiFi included in stay (only available with additional charge) and pool closed prior to sunset (perhaps because of Shabbat?).
Review 99:Nice staff, convenient market located near lobby and good location within walking distance of restaurants in North Beach area of Eilat.
Review 100:Staff was unfriendly and not willing to help; they didn't even have maps of the area. Would refer us to other Isrotel concierge desks instead, which was far from ideal. Wi-fi not available unless you pay an exorbitant amount of money per hour, which is unacceptable these days - they didn't even offer it for free in the lobby, as most Eilat hotels do. Very disappointed with overall level of service.
Review 101:just the location, near the boardwalk, that's it.
Review 102:No cafeteria and breakfast available.
Review 103:Location is great - among other top hotels and within hundred of meters to the beaches, restaurants, and shops. Rooms are clean and comfortable. Hotel lobby and pool area are well designed and maintained. Parking spots available to guests.
Review 104:Staff were very professional, freindly and helpful. The pool is great. We enjoyed the availability of a suite so we could be close to our friends and have a snack in the room.
Review 105:I thought it was outrageous that we had to PAY for use of the pool table, and a high fee at that. A pool table should be one of the attractive amenities provided by the hotel, the same as you don't pay an extra fee to use the swimming pool.
Review 106:Nice layout, good kitchen facilities, free parking, pool table
Review 107:Checkout was way to early in the morning. If you check in after 5pm you should be allowed to stay at least until noon. Also, the front desk wasn't great.
Review 108:It was a great facility and The room was nice
Review 109:There is practically no internet connection. There is only a couple hotel's computers which you can use in lobby for a fee, like it used to be 15 years ago.
Review 110:Location, free parking, 2 rooms studio
Review 111:Storage place in the room wasn't enough for 4 people, but for couples it will be suitable.
Review 112:In store was very useful. Аttention of the staff was great.
Review 113:No facilities for breakfast, it has to be known Wifi was not free, which seams outdated Rather expensive but Eilat in general is expensive
Review 114:Quiet, no overcrowded feeling although it was August and the hotel seemed full. Very good place for visiting Eilat numerous beaches and relax at the pool Parking place available Very pleasant manager
Review 115:The hotel was difficult to find. There was a lot a noise coming from other guests (partying around the pool) even long after midnight.
Review 116:Good location close to the beach.
Review 117:N/A
Review 118:Riviera Club is a very good hotel for families, room was very clean, basic but extremely suficient for a family to stay and enjoy. Good kitchenette, nice pool, staff is nice, friendly and effective. Nice movie theater for the kids (3D). Overall we enjoyed the stay.
Review 119:Thin walls and a lot of noise on the corridors and outside duringevening / night, so a lot of noise in the rooms preventing a goodnight rest. Check the doors when leaving, the locking didn't workwell sometimes.
Review 120:It was a budget friendly hotel for Eilat, basic rooms that were cleanwith good beds and fully functional bathroom. Friendly staff. However, when we came back to Eilat a week later and booked at the IsrotelRoyal Garden in front, which was a bit more expensive but much morevalue for money.
Review 121:The kitchenette is not well equipped. It does have the basics, but it could have a few more items - a colander, a can opener, more pots and pans, a dishtowel, large bowls for salad, more teaspoons (there were only 2 in an apartment for 4, there were 3 forks, etc)
Review 122:Clean, pretty, comfortable, quiet, good pool, close to beach and restaurants
Review 123:Reception speak poor English. No concierge and vacation consultant doesnot speak any English. No pool lane for swimming laps.
Review 124:Great location Great room. Lovely balcony Comfortable bed. Wellappointed bathroom. Mini Mart on ground floor well equipped.Excellent value
Review 125:The hotel doesnt offer anything else than bed and pool. The wifi is not free- 19$ for a day. A bit too much. My room door handle was broken, and it took a whole day and 7 times nagging tham to fix it.
Review 126:10 minutes from the beach and the new ice-mall
Review 127:In some of the rooms the layout is not so good and we had to upgrade to a "garden" room in order to have enough space for our baby's trolley and two baby beds. In the upgraded room space was enough. A lot of young people staying which made it noisy at night.
Review 128:The amenities in the room are nice. Good location. Seem to be very suitable for teenagers or young adults.
Review 129:The "parents" room in the apartments is too small, and without TV. Would have been nicer to have a balcony in the apartment rooms.
Review 130:location, pool, value for money.
Review 131:- Rooms very poor and aged condition, not at all like pictures on the website- Airconditioning unit gave off foul damp smell when operating - Staff ranged from okay to downright rude
Review 132:Low cost hotel (rather a motel, than a hotel) with quality of guests accordingly. Evertyhing looks and feels as low cost. Tips: Ask for a ground floor and 2nd floor room, rooms as 1st floor do not have any balcony.
Review 133:Location fairly ok.
Review 134:The noise until 4am from the extremely drunk young guests staying together as a group. Security did shut them up.
Review 135:Excellent value for money. Good location. Clean and bathrooms have been renovated.
Review 136:Great location
Review 137:No wireless Internet anywhere in the hotel, staff very rude and unwilling to help with nothing, the pool is freezing, noone to help with the lugguge, way too expensive for the service, great location!
