Reviews for Hotel Milleluci
Review 1:Bed a little firm, perhaps.
Review 2:Beautiful spa, stunning decor throughout - many wonderful rustic antiques, thoughtfully placed. Breakfast spread is incredible - all home cooked. Thoroughly recommend.
Review 3:Everything. Beautiful, cute, cozy, warm Alpine decor that was perfect for this hotel. Staff friendly and helpful. Great breakfast buffet. very nice Spa facilities including jacuzzi, sauna, steam room, showers, etc. Perfect little gem.
Review 4:We loved everything, but to be comfortable with the location and be able to see surroundings must have a car
Review 5:Excellent homely hospitality. Amazing food and very generous lay out at breakfast time and supper , included in the price. This is not just a hotel , it is like a resort, facilities are absolutely great. We had a lovely room with 2 balconies! Very tranquil and peaceful.
Review 6:We found the room a little too warm and there was no air conditioning, but this is just a minor thing.
Review 7:A beautiful traditional hotel. The sauna and wellness facilities were excellent. An amazing buffet for breakfast. Staff could not have been more welcoming and helpful.
Review 8:Wireless most of the time not working or working with weak signal.
Review 9:Staff is very nice, rooms and facilities very comfortable, both children felt very well. Breakfast aboundant and suitable for children. Good location as well.
Review 10:Whats not to like!!
Review 11:Loved the view & Location, Simply Stunning and breathtaking!!!!Hotel was pretty and there were lots of interesting artefacts to lookat. Hotel was exceptionally clean. The swimming Pool and spa areas areal plus and most welcome as it was hot during our stay. Staff werevery welcoming, helpful and friendly. Breakfast left me lost for words -absolutely amazing. Choice, well too much choice. Homemade everything. They even provided a complimentary afternoon tea at 3pm daily, whichconsisted of a selection of teas, cakes pastries and deserts.Fantastic!!! Rooms were clean and comfortable with a balcony where onecould view the stunning scenery. Coffee making facilities and mini barin room. Free parking outside or in a large underground carpark. Wearrived about 3 hours early for check in, reception were accommodatingand allocated us another room, as ours was not ready, so that we notwaiting around. The Hotel was very calm and quiet, a real sanctuary. TheHotel was close to town but down hill. We drove as had a car butwouldn't have liked to have walked it. Aosta Town is lovey andcharming with many shops and restaurants. I would not hesitate torecommend this place and I will certainly return. We are discerningpeople but we could not fault this place.
Review 12:This is a truly marvellous hotel. Excellent location, very friendly reception and copious breakfast. Really sorry that diner option has been discontinued.
Review 13:We stayed for 1 night and had a fabulous experience, only one small negative was no air con in hotel or rooms but would return again 100%.
Review 14:Staff, view, decor, pool ....... Everything
Review 15:Very good hotel for Aosta; excellent breakfast, nice rooms we had (suite); good swimmingpool + jacuzzi extra; can only recommend this hotel for a stay in Aosta
Review 16:Kids loved the beautiful pool. It was a really lovely stay for us all. Luckily we could watch the fireworks. The night view from the hotel balcony was breathtaking. We enjoyed walking around the town of Aosta to have dinner and the restaurant which the hotel staff reserved for us was very good with local dishes and great wine. And the map we were provided at the hotel was very useful for us to travel around.
Review 17:No air con, we boiled in July. Don't stay here in the summer. We had to have the doors open all night and were woken at 6am with the sun coming in. Very uncomfortable night. Shower was also tiny. And fridge did not work.
Review 18:Beautiful outdoor pool. Beautiful scenery. Good breakfast. Spacious family room.
Review 19:No a/c. We were there during an unusual heat spell, most common areas and our room were uncomfortable at times. With a fan nights were bearable if you left your patio doors open. Hotel is about 1/2 mile from town, down and back up a hill.
Review 20:Staff, Breakfast, amenities outstanding! Good size room and bathroom.
Review 21:Wifi was spotty and unreliable; no A/C (but there was a fan in the room and left balcony doors open)
Review 22:Lovely room with balcony; fantastic views; wonderful pool; nice staff; great breakfast and afternoon snacks; parking. Outside of town but walkable in about 20 minutes.
Review 23:Nothing to dislike. I hope to be back soon! However, if you intend to walk back from town, you need to be in shape to climb the hill. I saw plenty of folks older than myself do it, but be prepared.
Review 24:Spectacular views, incredible breakfast -- locally made cheeses, yogurt, fresh bread and pastries, cured meats, cereals, fruit; great pool and spa, great masseur at reasonable price; extremely welcoming and attentive staff; short walk into town; provided fan for the unseasonably hot weather; mini bar with room to add a few things of your own, room terrace.
Review 25:Too far away to walk to town, although easy drive/taxi.
Review 26:Fantastic views, from personal balcony, breakfast balcony, pool, car park - everywhere! Pool, gym, underground car park. Front desk speak good English.
Review 27:The rooms are not too noise insulated and even with closed doors, noisy neighbours can be annoying.
Review 28:The spa facilities are nice especially the sauna with a view. The breakfast offered a wide range of choice and the staff was kind and helpful
Review 29:We liked everything. Great stay.
Review 30:We appreciated Livia's attentive service at breakfast. The pool was refreshing and clean - wonderful on a hot day. Ample sitting areas and lovely afternoon tea and cake. Creative decor blending modern and antiques.
Review 31:The WiFi was intermittent in our room. The room and hotel overall were too warm. We were comfortabke because we slept with the terrace doors open. But these are minor complaints.
Review 32:The size of our room and view over the valley was wonderful . Breakfast buffet was extensive and the afternoon/evening cake cart was delicious. Wished we had time to use the pool and hot tub. They looked great.
Review 33:Spa was undergoing upgrading and wasn't available. No dinners are served.
Review 34:Large comfortable rooms and bed. Spotlessly clean. Excellent breakfast. Beautiful swimming pool. Ample under cover parking.
Review 35:Wool blanket, hard pillow (personal taste)...ok with no AC but a fan would be nice
Review 36:Fabulous staff, gorgeous and charming hotel, spectacular grounds spa and POOL, incredible breakfast afternoon tea and STAFF Views overlooking town and mountains
Review 37:A few English tv channel options, at least the ability to request VO (voix originale) on the movies, would have been helpful
Review 38:Wonderful staff who were very helpful. Fabulous and extensive breakfast, wonderful afternoon tea. Large, comfortable room, and incredibly clean.
Review 39:Wifi signal weak. Overly warm had to open balcony.
Review 40:Everything except intermittent wifi. Great helpful English speaking staff, totally professional. Impeccably clean, tasteful rustic features that give a warm feeling of the locality. Quiet location 5 min by car to Aosta centre. Bath, shower and two basins again in a beamed bathroom make it just superb. Mountain views from balcony and window. Walkin wardrobe. Wellness centre with cardio machines, weights, Turkish steam, sauna, jacuzzi, tropical showers... Can go on! Grand! Will go back.
Review 41:Located far from center of Aosta and from train station.
Review 42:The amenities are great, provides a real 4 star hostel service. The breakfast is fabulous, a lot of specialities from the region of Aosta are available. Quiet place to stay. To be recommended!
Review 43:We did not take advantage of directions from the hotel so we drove around trying to find it.
Review 44:Our hotel room, Tulipe, was huge and overlooked the east and south mountains. The breakfast buffet was so varied and eggs were also offered (included in room rate). The kitchiness of the decor made it even more charming. It was too cold to visit the pool but we had on a previous trip and it was very relaxing. Would definitely return.
Review 45:Very quaint and unique! one of the cleanest hotels I have ever stayed in. They take pride! Great views from here. Very friendly. Easy to get a taxi and reservations in town. Had an amazing dinner recommended by staff.
Review 46:Very hard bed with board underneath (probably not all) headboard squeak at night as one person moves. No restaurant for dinner.
Review 47:Excellent Breakfast, free tea/coffee cakes available afternoon, great cosy areas for small or large groups to chat in lounge.
Review 48:There wasn't enough hours in the day to take full advantage of whatthis exceptional hotel has to offer.
Review 49:Where can I start, from the moment we arrived we're were completelyimpressed. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly, could not havedone anything more to make sure we were completely satisfied. Thanksvery much. Absolutely spotless hotel. Decoration and hotel style wasfantastic. The facilities were exceptional, from the pool to the sparooms and a lovely touch of having salt available for an exfoliatingscrub. Kids loved it especially since it was quiet so didn't feel wewere bothering anyone but would have loved to have visited just with mywife! Great recommendation for a traditional Italian family meal. Staffeven looked out for our bag which we left by accident outside our room.Breakfast was out of this world and once again staffed by the loveliestof waitresses. Will definitely be back.
Review 50:our only problem was on our first night there trying to find our way - but it was mostly our fault!
Review 51:I really like the review shown above from someone else and am content to quote that in full as follows Quote the whole atmosphere of the Hotel was very zen, comfortable, cosy and welcoming. Availability of delicious snacks and beverages in the lounge is a lovely idea as there is no restaurant. Breakfast excellent and staff efficient and very pleasant. Definitely want to go back! Unquote We were there during the world cup and the staff arranged for the tv downstairs in the basement to have the matches if the terrestrial system in the lounge was not carrying that match. There was a great atmosphere in the lounge as we all watched. Its a really nice place, overlooking the mountains and the town of Aosta. We were lucky enough to have a junior suite, with lots of windows and loads of space, and it was a really great few days.
Review 52:Bed very hard. Shower needs attention with some mildew noted. Shower curtain not pristine as it should be at this price point. Wi Fi spotty and unreliable.
Review 53:Staff kind and attentive. Beautiful setting. Incredible buffet breakfast and afternoon tea.
Review 54:No air conditioning in the room although they did provide a fan but the fan would only run when the power key was inserted.
Review 55:Friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast was fantastic you would not need to eat until much later in the day. Pleasant walk down to Aosta although a little uphill coming back.
Review 56:Brilliant breakfast. 10 min scenic route too City center with extraordinary cosy shopping. Good rooms, though little too hot. Nice pool and In-/outdoor spa.
Review 57:Only complaints could be very hard beds (if not a fan if hard beds) and Wi-Fi if could have been available in some common spaces it would have been nice.
Review 58:Great hospitality - warm and welcoming! The staff and owners were very accommodating. We will definitely go back for another visit.
Review 59:TV from the 90's and the place deserves a restaurant

Review 85:This is the second time we stayed here and we just love it.
Review 86:No evening restaurant.
Review 87:Everything!
Review 88:Wifi coverage patchy throughout the hotel and had to be relogged onto all the time. No dinners so have to walk 10-15 minutes into town (steep hills).
Review 89:Family run hotel with spa facilities on the hillside overlooking the historic Roman town of Aosta. Wonderful room with four poster and balcony. Excellent breakfasts.
Review 90:a bit hard to find for newcomers.
Review 91:best hotel in aosta. classy. breakfast must be seen to be believed. great views from many rooms. staff offers impeccable service.
Review 92:Would have liked a small kettle, tea, coffee in the room but this is an "English" thing! No complaints at all.
Review 93:the whole atmosphere of the Hotel was very zen, comfortable, cosy and welcoming. Availability of delicious snacks and beverages in the lounge is a lovely idea as there is no restaurant. Breakfast excellent and staff efficient and very pleasant. Definitely want to go back!
Review 94:The place feels a bit abandoned, and strangely has no restaurant (otherwise a requirement for 4-star hotels). Has a good playground, but again its not really looked after properly.
Review 95:Friendly staff, great breakfast, nice room (junior suite).
Review 96:Family room didn't have many storage or hanging options. Also beds very close together.
Review 97:The aperitivi on New Year's Eve, the amazing breakfast, quick access to cable car for skiing in Pila and underground parking.
Review 98:Very bad warm water in bathroom(the water suply is too old, sometimes too hot suddenly and sometimes too cold); and bad room service(only two plastic cups for drinking and brushing teeth in room, which are easy to break)
Review 99:Breakfast and interior decoration
Review 100:But! There is no restaurant! You have to ho somewhere but you might be spend time in hotel! WiFi - it is nightmare!
Review 101:very nice! Boutique Hotel! extremely NICE!!!
Review 102:We had a great stay at the Milleluci! The room was excellent with great views across the valley. The breakfast was beyond the ordinary, really nice. We had tea and assorted desserts every afternoon at the tea station before heading to the jacuzzi. We walked into town for dinners and used the hotel as a base for exploring the Vallee D'Aosta. The staff were helpful in suggesting activities and restaurants and making reservations, and went out of their way for us several times.
Review 103:Nothing comes to mind.
Review 104:The Milleluci has been in the family for three generations and maintains a very personal and homey feel, while offering the highest quality in every detail, from the ironed bed linens to the house made pastries and sausages/salamis. The grounds are beautiful and feel rural while being only a kilometer from Aosta city center. Overall: a wonderful place to stay.
Review 105:nothing
Review 106:the whole experience was wonderful. there is nothing that more we could ask for. the facility is beautiful. I hope to visit again. the recommended restaurant at the top of the hill was the best.
Review 107:As the hospital is nearby, the sound of ambulances almost every hour at night was disturbing the sleep...
Review 108:Beautiful views to the mountains, the hotel staff was extremely nice and friendly, the rooms were clean and cosy, the interior of the hotel is very charming, with characteristics of mountain chalet and at the same time having a modern feel, the spa facilities seem excellent though we did not have time to enjoy them. And breakfast was fabulous, rich and very tasty, what I appreciated that there was no rush from the hotel staff to finish the breakfast, no taking away the dishes likeit happens in most of the hotels if you come the last minute, you could eat, enjoy the views and ask for another coffee even after the breakfast official end... Perfect relaxation!
Review 109:no restaurant in the hotel itself, but very nice one at 500m
Review 110:amazing breakfast free cakes in the afternoon big suite kid friendly ( play area / spa / pool) one of the best I've ever been babysitting if needed
Review 111:Rooms and especially showers are small. Need more luggage racks in the room
Review 112:Very nice view of the city and surrounding mountains. Superb breakfast buffet. Nice and friendly staff
Review 113:Nothing, it was all wonderful
Review 114:Loved the atmosphere, the staff, the hotel décor, the breakfast, the grounds, the pool, proximity to town and hiking, the sheets, how quiet it was....it was truly perfect.
Review 115:It takes a while to walk down to the old city, but all the way the view is very nice
Review 116:Very nice staff, always helpful and smiling Fabulous view to the mountains Good looking and clean rooms, including all usual facilities Extremely good breakfast, extended choice all from the area
Review 117:The Hotel was so incredibly beautiful and the attention to detail was wonderful. For example, as dusk approached, someone magically lit candles everywhere, including in the spa...real candles too, not tacky battery operated ones like here in the US. The breakfast was incredible...the views amazing...the staff friendly and pampering. I would love to stay there again some day.
Review 118:There was nothing to dislike.
Review 119:This is a family run hotel and it is their pride and joy. Beautifullysituated the breakfast terrace faces the hills and mountains across thevalley - as did our well appointed room with great powerful rainwatershower. We've never seen such an extensive breakfast spread and thecooked eggs are perfect. During the afternoon there is a constant supplyof afternoon tea or coffee with cakes, pastries and fruit blancmanges. There is no restaurant but the old town is very interesting with a wideselection of restaurants - a five minute drive or 10 euro taxi. Indoorjacuzzi and a spa; outdoor jacuzzi and large pool [one also forchildren]. Throughout the hotel are rustic artefacts and tools. Flowerseverywhere. Staff are accommodating, friendly and happy. We had a greattime staying two nights spending the full day driving arond the Paradisovalley and visiting Cogne on our way from Montreux to Verona. 100%recommended.
Review 120:There is nothing negative to say.
Review 121:The Milleluci was perfect in every way. The staff was amazing. The breakfast was outstanding. The spa was relaxing. The scenery and grounds were breathtaking. The hotel was spotless. The staff went over and above. Love, love, love this hotel and I have stayed at many Four Seasons, and this is my favorite hotel by far. Thank you Milleluci.
Review 122:Friendly and helpfull staff, beautiful location, excellent parking place (garage free of charge) for classic cars/motorcycles, within walking distance (15 minutes downhill) to Aosta city centre.
Review 123:Nothing to dislike!!!
Review 124:Staff welcome and helpfulness, location, design of rooms, facilities (heated pool, sauna, fitness room), plentiful and excellent breakfast and more
Review 125:Wish they had a restaurant on the premises.
Review 126:Loved the view from the hotel overlooking the Aosta Valley. Breakfast was good as well. We loved sticking our feet in the pool on a warm day. That seems like such a bonus for the hotel.
