Reviews for Isrotel Agamim Hotel

Review 1:Rooms are very expensive and outdated. No blow dryer in room, bed very bouncy and sheets and towels old. Pool wasn't heated so couldn't swim. Wifi so slow it was useless.

Review 2:Beautiful pool with lovely seating area; great breakfast buffet that is open until noon; short walk to shops and beach. Very nice spa and great game room for kids.

Review 3:In spite on no smoking signs, there were lots of guests smoking by the pool. Pool staff were indifferent.

Review 4:Beautiful pool, wonderful breakfast, friendly and helpful staff. Well located away from the noise on the beach promenade.

Review 5:The only bad thing about the hotel is the pillows were a bit flat and well slept on. I slept on both pillows and unknowingly stole my wife's one pillow aswell during the night.

Review 6:We bring tours to Israel and have stayed in many hotels in Israel. This hotel has by far the friendliest staff we have encountered, constantly smiling. The visit was a short getaway for me and my wife after our sukkot tour was finished. It was exactly what we needed, very relaxing and tranquil atmosphere. The breakfast was amazing, enough variety to enjoy something different everyday.

Review 7:Everything else was bad. After arriving at the hotel, following a long 7 hour journey in a car with a toddler and a baby, the hotel immediately started stressing us out with their additional paperwork, charges, and other nonsense that I told them frankly I'd sign almost whatever they asked for as long as we could get to our room quickly. We did not get to our room quickly. The hotel staff did everything they could to slow us down. They put four of us in a room for two, even though they knew for weeks ahead of time that we needed a room for two adults and two young children under age 3.We made sure they knew that by writing that in the Special Requests area of the order form, which the hotel reception manager said "well you can put anything in there so it does not matter what you write in there." Which means they ignore any special requests. And still, that's their problem, not the guests. Nowhere on the booking form does it say "We ignore these requests so write whatever you want, we're not going to respect it."If the hotel had any issue or problem delivering the special requests we made, then they should have let us know about their problems ahead of time. With roughly 3 weeks of lead time, they had more than ample and reasonable time to do so.They charged us for the crib and child's bed, even though they state that cribs are not charged for, and they did not provide a child's bed. We opened the couch bed which is in the room anyway, and they just put linens on it. And they refused to refund us for this, upon request.Usually the was no parking. Except for three times (out of about 12 times) that we found parking on the hotel grounds, we had to park outside of the hotel grounds and walk no less than 7 - 10 minutes to/from our room, with small children and anything else we had to carry. The room was very far (nearly as far as possible) from the entrance, so going anywhere to or from the room was a big...

Review 8:The swimming pool was nice. The food was OK. The bed was comfortable.

Review 9:1)We upgraded our room, in order to be near the stream which circles the pool. I expected room to be a bit more luxurious. 2) Rooms are situated in such a way that you hear every word from the rooms close by. 3. The safe in the room - needed to click many times until code registered. It definitly needs maintanance. 4) The safe didn't open smoothly. 5) Pool: Music too loud. had to call few times reception from Pool area - didn't help.

Review 10:Great breakfast, Room was comfortable. Had it all. Very friendly staff. We upgraded our room upon arrival. There was a slight misunderstanding about our rate, Management handled professionally in solving the misunderstanding.

Review 11:I felt aggrieved that we were asked to conserve the environment, and we tried to do this by hanging up our towels every day, only to have them replaced anyway. This happens every year.

Review 12:All staff except those advertising trips were wonderful and as helpful as could be, and I really enjoyed the massage I took in the Spa.

Review 13:it was a shame that the 'shop' was non-functioning and that the hotel was so devoid of social activity after 7pm

Review 14:we liked the feeling of calm and relaxation we loved the late-lazy breakfast too

Review 15:Horrible wifi. Location of the hotel is too far from the beach for a comfortable walk.

Review 16:Daily included breakfast was excellent! One of the best I've ever had. We upgraded to a waterfront, poolside room. Definitely worth the money!

Review 17:the incessant,albet quiet, muzak

Review 18:The pool area is delightful to sit and look at whether from one's room or by the pool. The breakfast/brunch had enormous variety so that one could have something different every day and sufficient one did not eat until evening. It is a hotel we love to comeback to,

Review 19:Way too expensive for what you get. The 'room on the water' is exposed to the neighbouring rooms and to people coming from the pool. Breakfast was below average in Israeli standards.

Review 20:Double bed turned out to be 2 single beds pushed together Front desk staff could be more helpful when explaining how to get to the room (there wasn't an easy way to get there as it was across the pool area from the entrance) Poor selection in room service menu Far from the beach

Review 21:Clean room Very nice pool area and facilities Good breakfast

Review 22:the line for coffee at breakfast was unreal we ended up buying coffee outside

Review 23:the breakfast was great although the hotel was fully booked it did not fell busy

Review 24:The breakfast was delicious! Outstanding pool.

Review 26:Pool

Review 27:Rooms need to be upgraded

Review 28:Pool, breakfast

Review 29:Loved everything !

Review 30:Pool and pool resturant !

Review 31:Very nice service. Fantastic breakfast. Rooms are out of date. Would have preferred closer to the beach.but all in all was very good

Review 32:the dinner was not such good...

Review 33:the room was clean and the service is great

Review 34:Room with private deck/patio.

Review 35:WiFi didn't really work at all for the 3 days we were there. No way to hear the front door (no bell or anything) when you're out on the deck or by the pool.

Review 36:Had a swim up suite on the ground floor with deck and direct pool access. Great property, great room, pool access is totally worth it. The food was good and the staff were nice. The most impressive thing about our stay was this. We had some noisy neighbors who were playing loud music and walking across your deck at night. We asked but couldn't be moved because the hotel was fully booked. They did send security but it only helped for a short time. When we checked out we explained this. They offered a 15% discount on 1 night and said they would check with management (who were all in a meeting) on if the discount could be given for all nights. I thought "yeah right" no way we get a call. But sure enough a few hours later they called to say we would get a 15% discount on all 3 nights! Now that is what I call doing business the correct way. Thank you Isrotel Agamim Hotel, very classy.

Review 37:Staff was a bit spacey at times (for example, we requested sanitary napkins, the guy insisted he understood what I meant, he brought me regular Kleenex tissues). The staff at breakfast looked miserable and some were quite rude, waiters never made eye contact in order to attend your requests. Given the price and reputation, I expected the room to be more interesting as well - it was very bland and looked outdated.

Review 38:Beautiful pool. Breakfast was wonderful, tons of delicious options (try the creamy cheesecake). Reasonable location to walk to the boardwalk.

Review 39:Excellent hotel, not one of those tall monsters, but rather nicely designed and very comfortable. Breakfast is also excellent and my stay was overall extremely pleasant.

Review 40:Our check in experience was extremely poor . Perfunctory almost to the point of dismissive rudeness .

Review 41:After complaints about our check in experience , an extra fruit bowl was delivered to us

Review 42:Were not allowed to swim in the pool in the early evening

Review 43:We were allowed a 6 pm check out which allowed us to enjoy the final day at the hotel. The hotel provided a box breakfast for our early departure one morning

Review 44:Food. No chance to dine properly - buffet dinner only. No chance to eat proper food in the afternoon - only burgers and other bar food (salads also available, to be fair). If not for food - we would not have to leave the hotel at all on our short weekend break with our 2yo boy.

Review 45:My room "on the water". To be able to step into the pool right from your room is fantastic. The double sunbed on the terrace is romantic in the evenings - moonlight from the sky combined with the lit pool and very elaborated garden view gets you into the right mood.

Review 46:Everything beyond breakfast and accomodation was extra... Internet($15/day!), Gym, Spa, etc...

Review 47:The pool and the atmosphere around the pool. The buffet was ok as well.

Review 48:The only issue we had with our stay this time was the food for a 18 month old child. The breakfast is really great, but throughout the rest of the day we struggled to find suitable healthy food for him from either the poolside restaurant or anywhere else. Meaning the only option was to go into the center each day instead of staying at the hotel. Considering most of the children we saw during our stay at the hotel were the same age, it would be nice if some healthier options could be added to the menu for children at the poolside restaurant, instead of only burgers, chips and shnitzels.

Review 49:This is our 5th stay at the Agamim. We continue to return to the hotel because we like the unique hotel design (room on the deck) the low chilled out music level at the swimming pool, friendly and very helpful staff, the great breakfasts. The overall feeling is very restful, relaxing and fun.

Review 50:This time of year the place was packed with people and was too noisy as a result

Review 51:The place is beautiful

Review 52:No Toilets cleaning brushes in the room.

Review 53:Great Hotel Cool poll structure.
