Reviews for Rimonim Eilat Hotel
Review 1:Trying to get a Straight answer from RECEPTION on indication of price if I stayed ...in the future....for a week..!
Review 2:LOCATION TO BEACH I USE FOR THE PAST 15YEARS
Review 3:The hotel gave us two single beds pushed together and on the 2nd floor despite us requesting a double bed and a high floor. The 2 single beds were uncomfortable and really not what we would have expected.
Review 4:Location was great with easy access to the beach and all the shops. The pool was clean and enjoyable.
Review 5:Internet never worked. Pool closes way too early! We had to leave at around 18:30... it was still sunny with 38 degrees!!
Review 6:Great pool and breakfast. Location is right on the beach and the promenade. A 10 minute walk from the airport. Nice balcony views and helpful staff. We'll be back!
Review 7:Had I known how many kids there would be there, I would not have choosen this location. Also, they failed to clean our room the 2nd night we were there.
Review 8:location
Review 9:It was none.
Review 10:situation of the hotel, comfort, cosy rooms, soft bed and pillows, kidness of the staff,.We were pleased with the free WIFI. The food in the restaurant was tasty and abundant.Thank yuo!
Review 11:The breakfast was ok.. a bit noisy, 'smoky' from the omelette making and they started to clean/close table wel before closing (20-30 min). The hygiene at omelette making raised Q's.
Review 12:We liked the location, the view from our balcony and the pool.
Review 13:- No free wifi in the rooms - Staff doesn't always speak English and some are not friendly - Okay hotel but not worthed the (high) price
Review 14:- Clean hotel & rooms - Big and tasty breakfast - Nice swimmingpool and private beach - In general an okay hotel
Review 15:The room had a broken lamp and a cracked chair on the balcony.
Review 16:Breakfast was good but a little bland. A few spices would liven the food. For the omelets I would recommend chili peppers availabel upon demand.
Review 17:WiFi payable Outside noice starting very early and ending very late giving you the feeling being in a club instead of relaxing by the sea Got charged around 100$ for use of fixex Phone 1 day within thé country Minibar not filled Badly isolated doors Of room to Hallway. Pricîng
Review 18:Reception friendly but overall not very qualified
Review 19:only caveat; i had to sacrifice on original size and comfort of booking for view ; not all rooms are created equal.
Review 20:the view from the room on the top floor is magnificent, the pool is well maintained and refreshing. the breakfast was bountiful and delicious
Review 21:Some of the staff was very unorganized and seemed pretty confused. We ordered a twin room (twin bed instead of queen bed) and had to change room, luckily the hotel was not fully booked. The rooms are not very impressive and are not cleaned as well as I'd expect a hotel room to be.
Review 22:Some of the staff was incredibly nice and helpful. The location of the hotel was fantastic. Very big selection of food during breakfast. Very nice swimming pool.
Review 23:Everything, the rooms were not clean, bathroom had human waste in the toilet, hallways covered with trash and dirt, rude staff, very unclean in the lobby area. DO NOT STAY HERE.
Review 24:Absolutely nothing, worst hotel in Eilat.
Review 25:the couples room is a bit small comparing to other hotels we staid in, but for couples it was ok. the room style looks a bit like a modern office- clean decoration, functional ( not warm or romantic)
Review 26:renovated, sea view, fantastic breakfast, beachfront
Review 27:Great rooms with a wonderful view. Great breakfast buffet.
Review 28:way over priced
Review 29:Will never stay at this chain again
Review 30:Nothing
Review 31:Pool is closing too early wish it can close later
Review 32:Pool and breakfast
Review 33:The unresponsive staff, filthy public spaces, loud and disrespectful guests
Review 34:The location
Review 35:The breakfast is amazing, and the location very good.
Review 36:1. old renovation 2. not politely Israel staff
Review 37:1.location 2.food!!! 3.Russian speaking staff
Review 38:In general the hotel is nice, but It must be counting as 3+ stars hotel.
Review 39:Nice bed. Good stuff. Good various breakfast.
Review 40:The rating of the hotel is not coherent with its level. Room, furnitures, bath items, food and services are simply not a five star rate
Review 41:Room location, beds and pillows, floor tiles were moving, late hour noise from swimming pool private party
Review 42:Location
Review 43:was awesome
Review 44:Friendly, clean, elegant.
Review 45:Wonderful location - we have stayed at rimonim before and will be my first choice again
Review 46:Service was excellent as was the food
Review 47:Nothing was too much trouble for all members of the staff. The food was excellent with great choices.
Review 48:Airconditioning not working properly in our room , no parkink like Was written on the hotel internet site
Review 49:Location breakfast
Review 50:Some staff around the hotel does not speak good English which can be a problem for people who only speak English and nothing else. But again, everyone is very friendly and will try to understand you. At the front desk there are always some English speakers. There is only one over-priced company that provides trips around Eilat (like Dead Sea, etc) beside a check-in desk. Before making a decision, keep in mind that you can check out and compare prices for the same trips at the malls and at the beach (there are people walking by in red shirts).
Review 51:One minute away from the beach. Clean Polite and attentive stuff View from the room was amazing, and every room has an sea view. For us, it was an important criteria. Great value for money because nearby hotels charged the same price or more, but not providing as much.
Review 52:I was happy staying at this hotel. My name is Lilia , Saint Petersburg!
Review 53:I stayed at this hotel many times and love it very much! Perfect location, nice staff, very good food at breakfast and dinner! Love!!!
Review 54:staff never smiles look at you like "what are you doing here"? never say hello nor welcome
Review 55:room with seaview and balcony comfortable bed excellent breakfast
Review 56:The hotel can hardly be given 5 but good 3 stars. The room is small and the sea view is partial contrary to the booking. No slippers, dressing gowns are provided. The lobby is if very simple design as well as hotel.
Review 57:Location. The breakfast is if great choice.
Review 58:A hotel of 5 stars should supply wi-fi without a fee.WHEN I BOOK 5 ROOMS FOR 5 DAYS AND ASK FOR FREE WI-FI, I SEE NO REASON TO REJECT THIS REQUEST. I STAY IN 4 STAR HOTELS IN SERBIA THAT SUPPLIES FREE WI-FI TO ALL ITS ROOMS.
Review 59:The food was very good with a very large selection, bot for breakfastand for dinner..
Review 60:Very long Check In Too many kids Too much loud music during the day around the pool non stop No mini bar Very small bathroom Room very small and not charming at all Our bed looked like someone just slept inside before us
Review 61:Because I come from South Africa and I speak English with a little Hebrew, the staff, particularly at the reception were not very friendly or helpful and seemed to avoid communicating propertly. They came across as very impersonal. The lady at the tour desk was the most friendly and helpful staff member. The dinner was overpriced and I did not like the children touching the food with their dirty hands and then putting it back for the next person to eat. That should be controlled both by the parents and the staff members.
Review 62:I like the atmosphere of the hotel, and the position. The food and variety of food was excellent. The comfort was great.
Review 63:Rooms above the market on the beach promenade can be noisy late at night.
Review 64:Centrally located close to the North beach Very nice pool. Good buffet for breakfast and dinner.
Review 65:The breakfast, in the morning was excellent but dinner at eveningbreakfast was excellent, but we didn't always like dinner at evening. It was too spicy and oriental for us who are european people! My husband was always waiting for your pastries which he loved very much..
Review 66:We know very well the Rimonim Hotel we have been coming there for thefift or six time. We can see the sea from each room and it is very welllocated..The staff is very nice, even the room cleaners try to do theirbest to satisfy us.
Review 67:Room service didn't call back 3 times, people were smoking in nearby rooms, one of the receptionists was extremely rude (the others were superb).
Review 68:Location, attractions desk, food (especially breakfast)
Review 69:Big israeli groups taking all the lobby and very loud... The animations were just for them... No Houmous, no Tehina for breakfast, very sad for people who come from abroad. No free wifi ! But around the hotel, you'll find plenty of bars and places with free wifi... don't worry !
Review 70:The attentive care of the staff. Kind and considerate. Being on the tayeleth, the view from the room and balcony. We loved our stay, and we will come back !
Review 71:I didn't like you announcing on the first page of your site that theroom costs ns645 and then saying that it costs $188 with us finallypaying ns695. These are dirty tricks and I am very sorry about you.
Review 72:I like that it takes only a 3h drive to arrive from the winter ofJerusalem to the summer of Eilat
Review 73:We had two beds joined together - we prefer a double bed. We were to get a room facing the sea. There are such rooms. We had a room partly facing the sea.
Review 74:The service is excellent. The food is superb. The hotel is located on the sea front in the center of Eilat.
Review 75:in spite 5* it looks and feels like 3 or 4 at most. A lot of facilities that not necessarily used - makes it 5* (spa, pool, conference halls, etc.) but all over - it was very unpleasant stay.
Review 76:We were able to check out later than usual, but the housekeeper kept on bugging us about leaving our room in spite of the fact that we got permission to check out an hour later. Irritating otherwise no negative critic to give.
Review 77:Helpfull personnell at the reception, easy to book tours around the area and Israel. Breakfast is fantastic. View from hotellroom is absolutely breathtaking.
Review 78:There was very poor decorum in the hotel over Friday night/Saturday. There were a lot of very loud guests. The situation was made worse by loud music in the lobby on Friday night and loud entertainment in the lobby.
Review 79:Food was excellent
Review 80:Having to shout at the receptionist over the kids screaming. The Children were at a Holiday organised event in the Lobby - its more of a family hotel
Review 81:Room was large and bed comfortable. Shower was extra large. Neat balcony
Review 82:The facilities were excellent. There were all kinds of activities at the pool and in the main lobby if you spoke Hebrew. The pool had lots of lounges and nearby food availability. Beautiful view of the sea and surrounding hills.
Review 83:This hotel is not a five star hotel in any shape or form. I would think it would struggle to be a three star at best. The staff can barely speak English, which is not so good for an International hotel. It took three days to get any washing done, once we could find someone who new how to get your washing picked up! The staff were generally uninterested in helping you or were clueless as to how to get things done. The Lobby area each evening hosts what can only be described as a bad Butlins style entertainment fiasco. Transvestite singers, guys dressed up as Moses wearing shades, sing alongs, bingo, musical chairs.. you name anything naff you can think off and this had it. A cacophony of noise that you had to run through to get to your room. Such a shame as it was actually quite a nice space that would have been nice to have a drink in or catch up on e-mails. Why they couldn't have put this awful show in a conference room is beyond me, awful! You only got 1 hour of free wifi a day, then they charged a fortune (better to go to a local bar where it was usually free). The pool area would have been nice where it not for the terrible music blaring out. Or the loungers packed so close together you cant help but become close to your neighbour. The Pool bar is great, as long as you like your food deep fried and your drinks sugary. The hotel is squarely aimed at the package tour type holiday. We were expecting a little luxury 5 star accommodation and unfortunately got more of a package deal place. However I think this kind of sums up Eilat, it relies on faded glory where once it was quite a sophisticated destination, it has now faded and is squarely targeted to the discount package market.
Review 84:Good location in the Centre of Eilat. The rooms are a good sized and are kept clean. The Hotel has a private beach area with loungers etc which is handy as the beach can get busy. Expansive choice of food for breakfast and the lobby bar does a surprisingly good Salad.
Review 85:It is way too noisy for people without young families and not wanting to be disturbed by boisterous guests at the pool throughout the night.
Review 86:Most staff did their best to respond pleasantly and helpfully and with a willingness to accommodate our requests. One reception staff member stood out as being rude and overwrought and another person at the reception desk was simply incompetent.
Review 87:We had a (relatively expensive) 2 room bedroom. The bed in the second room was a sofa and it was very uncomfortable. Since it costs almost as much as 2 separate rooms, the beds should also be comfortable in the second room! Otherwise nice hotel!
Review 88:The gym could have been cleaner. It looked like it had too much sweat onit - especially the mats and the weights.
Review 89:The room was a double with a separate room, although both rooms wererather small. It has a balcony overlooking a very large pool. Thebreakfast was a typically Israeli feast. There was even pizza and icecream offered at breakfast. Both the pool and the beach facilities werevery nice. Nice room, good location, free parking, free wifi, decent gym(could have been a bit cleaner) but overpriced, in my opinion. As anfyi, the Rimonim hotels, appear to be more geared toward Jewishtravelers, than some of the other Israeli hotels.
Review 90:Unfortunately not all rooms are well maintend.
Review 91:The hotel is good situated on the beach with fantastic view on the sea. Thanks to Mr Shmulik, deputy general manager, who has ability to solve immediately every and each problem. He helped as to be ubgraded with a junior suits with large balkony. The breakfast is great - varied, very delicious, in large quantities. Don`t miss the Coral beach and Aquarium - the marvelious places to be in Eilat! .
Review 92:The hotel is really very nice, it is situated in the centre of the cityand the beach is also very near to the hotel! The staff of the hotel isvery nice and polite, supportive! The food is also nice at therestaurant! So the rest in Eilat was perfect thanks to the comfortable, cosy and hospitable of the people working in the Rimonim Eilat/formelyknown as Neptune/ hotel! Many thanks! Good luck to you!!!
Review 93:Except for one notable exception, the front desk staff were very abruptand can be rude. Also the pool area is very noisy.
Review 94:It's a great location with great views and an excellent breakfast. Theroom was very clean and the bed was very comfortable.
Review 95:everything was beyond expected. The room is very elegant and clean. Only had breakfast and it was great. hotel shop has reasonable pricing
Review 96:The staff especially Israel in the reception which give you theimpression that hotel gust are the only thing that interrupt whatotherwise will be a wonderful day.
Review 97:Location, location, location and wonderful breakfast!
Review 98:- The hotel does not match the declared status of five star hotel. In my opinion, its level is between the three-star and four-star hotel.- Despite the fact that we've been there in March, before beginning of the tourist season in April, we have been refused in the late check-out. We asked about access to our room until 6 p.m. in advanced, when I booked the room, and after that I wrote email to administrator, who answered me that this problem will be decided at the check-in. - ALL additional services including a gym are not free. - Not enough sun beds and umbrellas on the beach. - It's very noisy at night, at least in the rooms overlooking the sea.
Review 99:- Convenient location near the sea, close to both the tourist area and the city center.- Own private beach. - Proximity of supermarkets and shopping centers. - Good breakfast. - Balcony in the room.
Review 100:The Rimonim is not a five star hotel as advertised by booking.com! Maybe it was 20 years ago. I would say its a very expensive 3 star hotel.
Review 101:Breakfast buffet.
Review 102:We only stayed 1 night as a stop over before continuing to Petra,Jordan. All were very accomodating and hotel very clean. Would probablystay again if in the area.
Review 103:Rooms were small, and hot later in the day. There could be noise coming from the pool at night.
Review 104:It has a great location, right near the beach of the Red Sea. The staff are friendly and helpful - we didn't organise a breakfast box for our day trip to Petra, but one was organised for us anyway. When we arrived back from a mad 24 hour trip across the desert to Cairo, there was a cold meal waiting for us. Rooms were clean, comfortable.
Review 105:Breakfast was very nice!
Review 106:service,
Review 107:Do not believe the negative comments they are untrue and are mainly cos of picky local guests. Otherwise great hotel
Review 108:no free wifi
Review 109:great breakfast
Review 110:A very good hotel. Perfectly situated near the Red Sea. I will go there again.
Review 111:A wonderful place. Right next to the sea. Perfect staff. Very friendly and helpful. Thank you.
Review 112:the staff is terrible and service is not a word they know
Review 113:the hotel is nice and location very good
Review 114:Small rooms.
Review 115:Good breakfast and evening entartement, friendly staff.
Review 116:your check out is to early. has to start from 12:00
Review 117:Location and service
Review 118:Price ,too expensive
Review 119:Very good location, animation , food
Review 120:Room was very poor and small. Looks like 3 star hotel.
Review 121:Location of the hotel is very good.
Review 122:Sheets kept coming off the bed
Review 123:Breakfast was wonderful
Review 124:Wi-fi only in the lobby.
