Review 1：The lady at reception was very helpful and welcoming. We arrived early and were very tired but she made sure we could get into our room as soon as it was ready.
Review 2：Unhelpful staff. WIFI did not work for us. I have never left a negative review before now but I recommend NOT staying here. Room thermostat/control panel was not working and the heating was stuck on permanently making the room unbearably hot. The solution from reception was to turn the room master switch off cutting all power to the room including the heating. We therefore had no lighting, no TV and showering was difficult. Recharging mobile phones was also difficult. Hotel did not fix the problem and would not give us another room. They insisted we still pay in full despite uncomfortable stay.

Review 4：In the first room we were given the air conditioning would not work - this turned out to be because the sensor magnet on the window was missing so the system thought the window was open. We were given another room but why hadn't this been picked up before? The shower hose above the bath was not long enough to reach the wall bracket properly - a minor thing but it detracted from an otherwise excellent re-furbishment.
Review 5：The room we were in had been newly renovated to a generally high standard with separate bedroom, toilet and bath. It was quite large for a double and felt very luxurious. The staff at breakfast were quick to replenish stocks at the buffet as they were used. Car park at back of hotel was convenient for parking
Review 6：room was not clean (hair on bed frame pillow, dirty heater in shower, mould), the air con did not work (couldn't been turned off, down or up); the entire house has seen its best days long ago. Breakfast was OK, if you don't expect a large choice.

Review 13：Hotel has gone through refurbishment but not fully complete bedrooms has new furniture but safe didn't work (no batteries) no phone no table or chairs. Bathroom had new sink toilet but batch was old and not shower holder There was a bar but it wasn't open. There were very few staff who multitasked but 2 or 3 people can't run a hotel. Hotel Parking was available but unusable die to the steepness of entrance. Breakfast facilities were chaotic doe to layout with guests bumping into each other trying to access the breakfast area

My advice don't stay there go to another hotel as Aostais well worth visiting
