Review 1：Marcos Beach is in a perfect location. 5 minute walk to the beach. Our room had beach views. Rooms are quite basic but it was such a good location and the staff were so friendly.

Review 11：Prior to booking we informed Jacquie of our height (6ft 3' and our desire for a bed that suits us), on arrival she had organised us a bug enough bed (and comfy) along with another mattress on top - double the mattress double the comfiness! 60 second walk along a down hill path and your at the beach. One of the most relaxing days we had in Ios was spending a day at the hotel. Sitting by the pool, tanning, swimming and being able to use the wifi. Transport was organised from the ferry to the hotel free of charge. The staff are all great, Jacquie is always available for a request or advice/help, even squeezed in a couple games of Uno with her one night when using the wifi near the bar :)
Review 12：There is an optional breakfast for 5 € which is not really worth the price. Wifi in the rooms is not working very well.
Review 13：We had an amazingly nice time at Marcos Beach! The owners were very lovely and always helpful! The Bar close to the pool had convienient opneing hours and a happy hour as well. Furthermore the location was very good as the main beach 'mylopotas' was just a couple of steps away from the hotel. The bus, ran every 15 Minutes to the town and the port. Good connection to free wifi at the pool. And at the end, the best thing was the pool itself!!! Relaxing atmosphere and an awesome view over the coastline.

Review 17：It's a nice hotel with wonderful view on the sea. The hotel is located 5 min walking from a very beautiful beach: Mylopotas. About 10 min by taxi from Chora and the port. The hotel has everything one would need: TV, AC, swimming pool, bar.
Review 18：Staff went out of their way to ensure we enjoyed our stay. They ordered a takeaway dinner for us, provided us with everything we needed and were always welcoming us home in the early hours with a smile.
Review 19：I stayed here with my brother, the staff were absolutely lovely and extremely helpful. Location is really good, about a 5 minute walk to the main beach. Stay here if you want to be close to the beach, to walk to the village where all the bars are is about 20 or so minutes - but buses run quiet frequently. Overall this place was comfortable and relaxing, not a party place. It was a bit pricey but it was too be expected during peak season.
Review 20：Although the hotel isn't far from the beach, the walk down a sandy/rocky, unlit passageway isn't ideal. We had to purchase a torch as it's pitch black at night. Probably wouldn't advise if you have small children. The shower curtain in the bathroom was very basic and due to the fitting my partner couldn't stand under it as it was so low.
Review 21：The hotel is situated back from the main beach strip which does provide more privacy and also means it can be reached easily by taxi. The room was comfortable and we had a nice view from the balcony. The staff were friendly and quickly dealt with any queries.
Review 22：The rooms are very naked and boring and sporadicly renovated. The beds are very uncomfortable!! No pick up og transport to the port. The sunbeds are ridiculessly filthy and should have been in the dumpster ages ago. Poor wifi connection.

Review 24：Marcos Beach just needs some money spent on it. The bed was tiny - not big enough for two adults and not at all comfortable (I woke up with backache every morning). The bathroom was far too basic (even by usual standards). Charging an additional €8 for a breakfast that consisted of cereal that had the taste and consistency of cardboard, some slices of plastic cheese and watery ham, orange juice that was either watered down or just plain squash and a few forgettable pasties was daylight robbery. Marcos Beach could be so much more if it wasn't so dilapidated.

Review 28：The breakfast which, is €8, is very poor. Only 2-3 types of cereal, sliced bread and sliced Ham and cheese. No way worth €8! However the lady that runs the place did tell us this and advised us to go to the beach restaurants or to those in the town for a better selection and better prices. The shower was a little on the cool side at times but was fine most of the time.
Review 29：Really friendly staff. Pool area was great but could do with some extra sun beds. Good selection of smoothies and cocktails and drinks at the pool bar. Perfect location for the beach and there's a bus stop 3 minutes away that will take you into town. Only takes 5 minutes. rooms are spacious and clean. Overall we really enjoyed our stay here and would definitely come back or reccomend to a friend!

The drinks at the bar were budget-friendly and the room was very spacious. IT's a good place to stay for your visit to IOS if you want some quiet and relaxed stay next to everything. Review 52：1. The owners and staff of the hotel (Mrs Jackie and Ms Melina) were very kind. They picked me from the harbor upon my arrival and transferred me to the hotel. Furthermore, they were keen to answer my inquiries and ready to assist me with anything I wanted. 2. The location of the hotel was excellent, 3 minutes walking to the magnificent beach of Mylopotas. 3. The rooms were spacious though very simply furnished and decorated. 4. The roof garden, next to the pool has a very nice view and a quiet, relaxing atmosphere.

Review 56：I'm very glad we chose Marco's Beach as our accommodation forIos! The Mylopotas beach is only a 3 minute walk from the hotel. Thestaff were by far the best we have encountered midway through our 3month Euro-trip. They were extremely friendly and helpful. Theowner's son even took us out on the first night! Drinks at the barwere incredibly budget-friendly, and they even had happy hour (whichwent for two hours) just before it closed. The rooms are very spacious(even bigger than our friends rooms who were paying over $300eu anight!) Breakfast is complimentary, but if you want to purchase anEnglish Breakfast, it will only set you back $3eu! On Wed there's agreat masseuse who comes by the pool, and only charges $10eu for 30mins. All in all, I can't say enough good things about Marco'sBeach, and wouldn't even think about staying anywhere else if I wasvisiting Ios once again.
