Reviews for Albergo La Rocca
Review 1:Very warm and friendly owners in a very quaint Italian village. We were looking to spend a night in the Italian countryside and Brisighella proved to be an excellent choice. My wife developed a special bond over dinner upon discovering that she and the owner were both retired teachers. Brisighella is in an excellent location and could be used for a longer stay and a home base for the many cities and interesting sites in the immediate area. The hospitality and friendliness of this hotel would make for a memorable stay.
Review 2:Brilliant location right in the heart of this pretty town, everything within short walk. Staff very welcoming and provided a town map and lots of tourist information.
Review 3:Nothing!
Review 4:Set in the center of a charming and unspoiled little hill town in Emilia, this family-run establishment offers clean, nicely appointed (freshly re-done) hotel rooms. The ground floor restaurant has its own covered loggia and great food. We loved it--you will too.
Review 5:Nothing
Review 6:The manager was very nice and very helpful. The view was great from our newly renovated room. The meals in the restaurant were very good and very authentic Italian.
Review 7:Warm welcome. Excellent dinner at the hotel restaurant. Room with a nice view of the street and the square below. Several hours walking about the town's fort, clock tower, and shops was most enjoyable.
Review 8:This is a charming family run old fashioned hotel, good restaurant, lovely location, and I have absolutely no complaints. It is not a luxury hotel but is value for money by any standards. I have been before and I would hope to do again.
Review 9:The cleanness of the room was not spot on with some cobwebs and old stained furniture. Bathroom facilities in particular could use a new look, the toilet had an inconvenient incorporated bidet instead of a separate fixture.
Review 10:Good restaurant for both food and ambiance. Location is excellent for exploring Brisighella on foot. The room was impressively large, my mother and I were given a triple with separate bedrooms even though we had booked for a double.
Review 11:Very helpful owner, spoke good English, very informative and made suggestions for places to visit. Bathroom spacious with a double shower. Beds comfortable.
Review 12:Location at the heart of Brisighella, kind owners, good local restaurant
Review 13:Very friendly owners + staff
Review 14:The restaurant was closed! However, La Rocca recommended a fine substitute.
Review 15:Centrally located in the village, very friendly and comfortable.
Review 16:Very helpful and accommodating throughout. We also ate very well. The owner and chef cooked a brilliant meal...it was a very quiet period and we could hear him whistling as he worked.
Review 17:Very good value for money, kind staff (hotel run by a family) always available to help and give a tip. Perfect location in the very centre of Brisighella and excellent restaurant.
Review 18:My room was probably in need of a makeover or it will soon be shabby, and it was not air-conditioned. Brisighella is hot in summer and the fan provided couldn't really cope.
Review 19:The hotel staff are excellent and helpful. The location is right in the historic centre and free parking is at your door. The wifi works is all rooms! If you ant to eat in house there is a nice restaurant.
Review 20:This hotel is very much past its best and needs complete refurbishment.
Review 21:The owner is trying his hardest to keep this hotel going and although we would not stay in it again, we thought Brisighella was a real gem of a town.
Review 22:La Rocca is in a great location in the middle of an interesting old town. It has been run by the Valgimigli family for 3 generations, and the current generation were very friendly and helpful.
Review 23:It was my third stay at La Rocca and everything was perfect as ever.Brisighella is one of my top places in Italy and I will keep returningthere. Thank you again danielle!!!
Review 24:Location, restaurant, friendliness. Homeliness, very helpful owner. Excellent food in restaurant, nice breakfast
Review 25:The owner was extremely kind and nice, and the dinner at the hotel restaurant was very good.
Review 26:All of it. The family staff are all lovely.
