Condo Hotel Ilios and Irene sells fast on our site. Ilios and Irene air-conditioned apartments are in a garden of bougainvilleas and roses, a 5 minute walk from Mastichari Beach. The units offer private, furnished balconies overlooking the Kos countryside.
Each spacious apartment features a kitchenette with fridge, stove and a dining area. Most apartments feature 2 balconies with both sunrise and sunset views.
Guests are greeted with a welcome platter full of local delicacies. The restaurant serves breakfast and dinner and you can enjoy a drink at the bar. There is a lobby with free access to a satellite TV, game consoles and a small library.

Review 1：The owner and his Mum made us very welcome and were always attentive and helpful. The service offered was very good and accommodation highly recommended.

The room was perfect, comfortable and big, an appartement for 4 persons with our own terrasse and it was really clean. Our late arrival was no problem, even at our early leaving we could just let the key behind. Thank you very much for the offering and the nice time in your hotel! :) We hope to come back soon. :)

Review 14：Socrates and his staff were so welcoming and friendly, from receiving his welcome email, which added to our enjoyment from the start, the welcome tasty mezes when we got there, the conversations and helpful tips he gave us during our week and the fresh flowers in our room every day, all made up a fantastic week for the memory book! We can't wait to go back!

Review 15：A wonderfully welcoming host who greeted us with an ouzo, soft drinks forthe kids and a delicious plate of food on the house. The breakfast was a feast! Nothing was too much trouble and tho we only stayed one night we were given a jar of kos honey on leaving. Our apartment had all we needed. Overall a comfy hospitable experience

Review 18：No balcony (Two were expected), no wifi on room (It is in the lobby), a really, REALLY bad view from the window... I guess we were given one of the worse rooms, since we were only staying for a day, but this studio was just plain depressing after Kalymnos. Mastichari is just awful too as far as places to stay go. A single huge crowded beach, a couple of empty tavernas, nothing nice to look at. You might as well go to the mainland. Do yourself a favor and go to Massouri on Kalymnos instead. Or get yourself a car and just spend the bare minimum of time in Mastichari.

Review 20：Apartments are clean and spacious. Socratis and his staff work very hard to keep the apartments and grounds to a high standard. Everything you need is included in the price - air conditioning, safe, iron and hairdryer. The kitchen is fairly basic but we had everything we needed - who wants to cook on holiday anyway! Lots of extra finishing touches including tissues and ample toilet rolls (which can be flushed - we much prefer that don't we!), basket of toiletries, washing up liquid and sponge, all reflect the caring approach the management gives to its visitors. Previous reviews mention the cost of coffee and bread and the quietness of the location. Neither was a problem for us - we loved the peace and quiet and had to remind Socratis to include items on the bill he had forgotten. The pool was close by and ideal for us and our 14 year old son. It seems a lot of people only book short stays but we enjoyed our two week holiday immensely and we would love to go back. We hired a car locally and visited all of the islands resorts and Mastichari was, in our opinion, by far the best! One of the nicest holidays we have ever had - thank you.

Review 21：The accommodation is very relaxing and quiet, especially after the loud noise we faced in the capital Kos. The apartment was comfortable and I enjoyed spending the mornings on the terrace. The hosts were very friendly: they welcomed us with season fruits and gave us local souvenirs at the end of our vacation. The location is pretty close to the beach which has the best sand I have ever felt.

Review 22：The staff is very friendly and helpful; I arrived very early in the morning and asked if they could keep my luggage until my room was available, they told me they would clean immediately a room already free and in half an hour I had my keys! And the apartment was bigger than the one I had booked! The house is very near the centre and the beach of Mastichari and each apartment on the ground floor has a little green garden with a table and some chairs.

Review 28：Although this was just an overnight stopover before catching our plane (just 5 miles away) the welcome and hospitality from Socrates was very generous, including fresh fruit from his garden the moment we arrived, and huge breakfast. Our apartment had a separate very well equipped kitchen and dining room and its proximity to the traditional Greek seaside resort and tavernas and sandy beach makes it a good destination for those wanting to stay longer

Review 37：Friendly welcome with ouzo and a plate of nibbles. The apartment was very well equipped (even washing up liquid/cloths were supplied) and everything worked! Breakfasts were fresh, varied and excellent value.

Review 38：Smell in the room was awful - like 10 bottles of cheap different scents poured - unbearable. No hot water in a cold and windy weather. Not easy to find, no signs, no nice surroundings, far from town. Not prepared for cold season at all!

Most apartments have 2 balconies and built to a high standard.ilios & irene is located in a scenic quiet location 5 minutes from the beach and the lovely taverners in Mastihari. My wife and I are no strangers to ilios & irene,we have been coming here for 15 yrs and looking forward to seeing Sokratis and his team in 2015.

Review 49：The welcome and attention to detail by Socratese, the manager. The accommodation is very good and the tranquility is brilliant. This is our third stay at the Ilios and Irene Hotel. It is a very convenient place as the start or finish of an Island hopping holiday as it is only about 5km from the airport and Mastihari has a ferry to Kalymnos from which you are able to springboard to many of the Dodeconese Islands.

Shower head could not be fixed and dropped on onces head when taking a shower. Management very unfriendly and no help at all. Manager wanted more money after all for accomodating our child. When askes for the reason, we got the answer: I changed my mind.

Review 58：Everything. Very friendly and helpfull staff. We had a big 2 room appartment with 4 comfortable beds. The pool in the close by bar is nice. A great breakfast for a good price.

Review 59：We were disappointed that there wasn't a pool at the hotel, even though it said so at booking.com, instead we had to go to a pool bar. The hotel itself was nice and well-kept, but the outer surroundings were not as nice to look at.

Review 67：We enjoyed our stay here very much! The Hotel is not a five star resort, if you need this you´re definately wrong here. Rooms are simple, but very clean and have evrything you need for your Holidays. Rooms downstairs have even two terraces , at the front door and at the balcony door on the other side. The air con was the best we had on our whole trip. There is no swimmingpool, but Ilios and Irene have a coorperation with a bar where you can use the swimmingpool for free if you consume something. The breakfast is very good, you should try!!! Sokrates tries to fullfill all your wishes and assists you in every question or Little Problem you may have. You feel like home away from home. Very Close to Ilios and Irene ( Sun and Peace ; ) you will find a lot of tavernas, Pizzerias and cafes and bars, , supermarkets and of course the beach, where you can see the most beautiful sunset on Kos, even at your dinnertable. Sokrates helps to arrange a car rent for great Price! We were very satisfied. The surrounding of the Hotel is very peaceful and quiet. It is a bit far from Kostown (around 20 minutes by car), but there is a bus leaving somewhere close to the Ferry in Kostown. And it is absolutely worth it, you will get paid back with a very relaxing surrounding on the lively Island Kos. The Hotel is very close to the Airport though. The Drinks at Ilios and Irene are very fair-priced, like everything. So you wont be dissapointed, but very very happy. You can also buy drinking water from Sokrates, so no need to carry around heavy bottles. The coffee is very good! I loved the staff too, they are all amazing. The We definately recommend Ilios and Irene to all tourists who love the relaxing way, without missing any thing. We definately will come back when in Kos. Thank you for very great 4 Nights and 5 Days!!!!! ; )))) We miss you.

Review 68：The owner Socrates is a warm friendly person nothing is too much trouble. The rooms are spacious and spotlessly clean. Breakfast omelette on the veranda is a relaxing start to the day. Everyone is so friendly and I recommend the BBQ the food is beautiful.

Review 74：We stayed at Ilios & Irene at the beginning and end of our holiday. It is very convenient of course for for the port of Mastchari. Right from the start, Sokrates makes his guests very welcome, with an ouzo and few nibbles; his high level of service continues throughout your stay and nothing is too much trouble, either for him, or for his excellent team of staff. The apartments are large (each with 2 rooms) and are kept spotlessly clean. They are also very well equipped, with not only everything you need for the kitchen, but also nightlights, an iron and ironing board, and all-important mosquito vapour machines. Each apartment has two balconies, which means that there is always a choice of sitting in the sun or the shade. (They each have a drying facility too). The quiet location also means you should get a good's sleep. Breakfast is good value at €4.50 each, and the dining area is also the venue for barbeque nights, which are held every 10 days or so. At some places, we might avoid such events, but not here! For a start, the food is a great deal: €10 per head for a buffet of 15 or so dishes and meats, all really well- made and in greater quantities than any reasonable person could eat. Wash it down with cool beer in chilled glasses, and enjoy Sokrates and the others teach you to dance (sort of - with tsiftateli especially for the ladies). It is a really good night for anyone with any sense of fun at all. So many thanks to Sokrates, Serva and Soula, for a great service in excellent apartments. We would recommend Ilios & Irene very highly.

Review 75：We stayed here in 2011, the improvement to date in the running of the apartments is down to Socrates, the owners son. The apartments are spacious and clean, and in a very quiet area. There is a small bar on site and breakfast is offered each morning at €9 for two. The centre of the resort is only a 5-10 minute walk away.

Review 76：A great hotel to spend the holidays in Mastichari. Sokratis and his team are extremely friendly and do everything to satisfy the guests' needs and offer great tips! Rooms are very comfortable and clean. Excellent breakfast, more that we could expect. Only 5 minutes on foot from the center of Mastichari. Would definetely stay there again on a next visit to the island, highly recommended!
