Connemara is just such an incredible area with outstanding beauty and views at every Town. Clifden is a lively bustling place with an excellent variety or Restaurants with an excellent standard of food served!
Review 56:Noisy. We were there at Easter time and one of the nights we could hear talking/banging after 11pm from the B&B host family members on the floor below our room.
Review 57:Beautiful location, nice views. Spacious and comfortable room with lots of light (skylight in bathroom of our room). Impeccably clean and new. Easy to walk to town. Tasty breakfast, which you order the night before and are served at the time you specify (not a buffet).

Review 64:This was definitely the best b&b we have stayed in so far. The location is perfect: quiet, but only 10 minutes max to walk to the town centre. The b&b itself is lovely. The rooms are spotless, the owners are very welcoming and so are the two dogs :) breakfast is delicious and all you can do is lean back and relax.

Review 69:After two weeks in Ireland in the lower half of the country, we felt this was one of the top two places we stayed the entire trip. The rooms were brand new, the house was gorgeous and clean and simple, and the family was outgoing and very friendly. We felt like we were staying at our own home. The location to town was perfect, and the atmosphere the most relaxing. Great distance to Connemara National Park, and a great deal for all the luxuries of the lodge. Thank you Anita!!
Review 70:This is the ideal place for touring across Connemara. Just an hour bycar from Galway and by foot ten minutes down to the beautiful town ofClifden. Plenty of nice restaurants and last not least cosy little pubs. The breakfast in racecourse lodge is just out of this world. Smokedsalmon and fresh brown bread for breakfast, that's what I need earlyin the morning. Our hosts were more than friendly and helpful. We wouldlike to come again, thanks for everything.
Review 71:Staff lovely. Everything to perfection. Breakfast room nice. Up a steep hill so nice view. Clean with big bathroom, hairdryer.kettle in hall. Tv. Generous breakfast with good choice.
Review 72:Nothing, everything was perfect.
Review 73:Warm welcome from the hosts, they provided us with tourism information. The house and the rooms have nice contemporary looking design. Very comfortable rooms. The house is located in the country side upper the village, 5 minutes walks from Clifden main street (pubs and restaurants). The location is rest full. Breakfasts were excellent with a large choice and fresh cooked breakfast.
Review 74:Extremely thin walls. We have been woken up by people in other rooms doing their morning hygiene, certainly not a sound you would like to wake up to. I guess it's less of an issue when the house is not fully booked, for us however that was THE unpleasent experience.
Review 75:The B&B is very nice and modern, probably one of the nicer ones we stayed in in Ireland, very clean. Breakfast is great, offers a couple of options as opposed to the classic full irish, a nice treat. It is in walking distance to the city center, so no need to take the car when heading down to Clifden for a pint.
