Reviews for Sandycove House Bed & Breakfast
Review 1:Wonderful B&B in front of the sea. Very nice view, the possibility to walk along the sea. Peaceful place. Room very cleam and confortable with a wonderful view on the sea. The owner is very kind. 2 km far away there is a village with a pub that serves excellent food.
Review 2:Words cannot really describe this place! It must be one of the best guest house locations in all of Ireland! The secluded setting in a spectacular bay is really the ultimate escape - it really has that far off hidden feeling which makes one feel so privileged just to be here. Rooms also have the same spectacular views, and are decorated in a warm homey style which suits the house and landscape. Breda and her father gave us a warm Irish welcome and we felt right at home! Breda is very friendly and chatty - we loved our chats with her - and she cooks a super breakfast! Lovely spaces in the house to enjoy your book or a glass of wine. The views from the breakfast room has to be seen to be believed! There are amazing nature walks in the immediate surroundings with spectacular views - beautiful little sandy cove with sandy beach just below the house. Beautiful rocks to have a picnic, or strolls on foot paths amongst the wild flowers. The pub in the lovely nearby town, Castletownshend, is great for lunch or dinner! This place is our number 1 destination to return to when we do our next trip to Ireland, and this time we will stay much longer! Thank you so much Breda - your house and hospitality are really just awesome! We cannot wait to return.

Review 23:Once we arrived at the Sandy Cove House the view took our breath away. . Extremely clean and comfortable room . Views from our room are stunning, and also in the dinning room to eat your breakfast. You can also use the dinning room for an afternoon drink to enjoy the view as well. Hosts are fabulous! A perfect breakfast with lots of fresh fruits and full Irish breakfast was wonderful. The pub/restaurant Mary Ann's in Castletownshend was perfect! Nice fresh fish and shellfish. You can swim next to the b&b , there are a few nice small beaches. We saw seals right in front of ou b&b.
