Review 1：Furnishings seemed a bit dated. Bathrooms need renovation. I'm turned off as soon as I see shower curtains - they're a dead giveaway that renouvation is overdue!

Review 2：Our stay towards the end of the season meant that it was very peaceful. Staff was friendly and helpful.

Review 3：The small details. As long as you don't get too close it looks nice. Little things, like the robes at the spa being totally worn out and dirty. The toilet is disgusting and the bath and shower are both not good. The bath plug doesn't work, the water is yellow and you can't get under the shower because of the curb of the tub.

Review 5：I didn't enjoy having to use the key for electricity as the rooms does get quite hot. Better airconditioning throughout the hotel would be great also.

If you have time have a massage at the day spa. Staff were extremely professional. Excellent location. Highly recommended to all travelers.

Review 7：Rooms were not clean sheets for the bed were just placed on the bed not tucked in if you sat on them they would come off and it is just the mattress showing.. Bathtub had hair in it , clearly wasn't cleaned properly.. Wifi didn't even work I don't know why this hotel even advertises "free wifi"

Review 9：The room was not very nice and seemed very cheap. Toilet did not work well, air conditioning was very weak. If you want to avoid walking many steps to upper rooms, request a lower floor room.

Review 17：We needed to checkout before 8, in order to go to the port on time for 8.40 departure, after first delivering the rental scooter too. The manager was the only person at the reception desk at the time (7.30) and he didn't know how to do the checkout process in the PC terminal. By the way, prepayment had already been done and no minibar consumption had been made. He called to wake up the receptionist girl, and was abrupt and rude to her on the phone, while it was clearly not her responsibility, since her shift started only at 8. Obviously the hotelier was cheap in saving the cost of a night/early morning shift. This is unacceptable for a €250/night hotel. Moreover, the wifi was slow as hell and unusable.

Review 18：The personnel was accommodating and cheerful. The bed for the junior suite was king size. The location was up to expectations created by the booking.com website.

Review 19：We stayed in a room which is located at the back of the hotel which is a good 200m hike, takes a good 5-10 minutes to walk to front desk if the 2 elevators aren't working.

Review 26：The first night there was a big party in the room above ours with a lot of noice. We called the reception twice and it was 00.30 hours when it was ended. You don't expect this in a luxery hotel.

Review 32：In the standard rooms, one's neighbours can look into the room, so there's basically no privacy at all. Several light switches were also broken and were not fixed (or even looked at) despite assurance that they would be.

Review 42：The staff here were incredible the hotel was beautiful on a cliff edge overlooking the beach with stunning views. Rooms cleaned daily and food was incredible and very reasonably priced. Hotel was 5 mins max in a taxi to the main square of bars and cost 5 euros to get there. Staff will do anything for you!!! Truly one of the best places I have ever stayed would go back 100% and would reccomend it to anyone we're were a group of 4 youngs girls but adults would througly enjoy it tooo could not speak highly enough thanks to all the staff love the Brighton girls!!!

Review 44：The resort was amazing. It had everything you need from great staff to multiple pool facilities. As a group of 6, it fulfilled everything we each wanted in Ios - only leaving the hotel twice - to eat and paddle board!

Review 45：We stayed at Ios Palace Hotel from 14-20 Sept 14. I have to say it was perfect. We had room 108, which was a superior room. It was large and comfortable with an amazing view of the upper pool area and of course the beach and sea. It was a bit of a trek up to our room, with two lifts involved, however we were fine with that because it was worth it due to the view. People with mobility issues could request a lower floor. The staff were very friendly and welcoming and couldn't do enough for us. Breakfast was really good with everything to offer all tastes. We had lunch there a few times which was also very good. The best part of our holiday was the spot the hotel is located, idyllic!! The beach is beautiful, with a scattering of good bars and restaurants to choose from. The bus stop is located just by the hotel with an excellent bus service to take you to the lovely village. We loved this hotel

Review 48：The rooms were large and nice. There were two pools and the lower level pool overlooks the Sea. The staff was helpful and they offer a shuttle service to and from the port, which is extremely helpful since there is a taxi shortage during high season.

Review 49：THE WASPS... they were everywhere.. also if you have a room right up the top, the lifts regularly stop walking so you need to walk up 100+ stairs (not the best in 30+ weather)

The TV at the main bedroom did not work. The balkony was never cleaned. the stairs to the room were never cleaned. All these are not exactly what you expect for a room that you pay 330 euro per day...

Review 53：The hotel is 30 years old and very little investment has gone into the hotel since then. The pipes in the bathroom were so old they smelt, the elevators are old and clunky and the floors/walls are discoloured at places. Parking is extremely difficult near the hotel. Way too expensive for the price.

Review 55：We were staying in a family suit at the top of the hotel and this meant our hot water wasn't just unreliable it was pretty much absent. When we reported this problem we were told there we just too many people drawing on it and it should be back in 20mins or so. It never was. In a hotel of this standard and a room of this price range hot water should not be an issue. I will not hurry back for this reason.

From what we saw IOS palace was Definetly the nicest hotel situated in the main immediate region of town. Would highly recommend. Review 63：The treadmills in the fitness center were not operational. The hotel will need to replace them otherwise they cannot claim the existence of a fitness center. The parking in the hotel premises has a very difficult access (only for experienced drivers).

Review 64：The staff of the hotel was exceptional. Willing to go the extra mile to help the guests. We were impressed. The location, the breakfast, the facilities (with the exception of the fitness centre and the parking) were great. Fantastic view, nice pools.

Review 65：This hotel was amazing! It was in a great spot and the hotel it self was perfect. We went on out honeymoon and it was everything in a hotel that you could ask for!! Can't wait to go back.

Review 66：1. unprofessional and completely unfriendly, uninterested staff. 2. seems that they still use seawater for the (toilet) flush -> horrible smell/stench in the whole room. 3. balcony without sunshade -> unusable during the whole day. 4. the internet access was inexistent, very bad wireless receive. in the 21th century a no go. 5. the pool isn't recommendable. a strange mix of briny/salty and too chlorinated. 6. is there any hotel or guest relation manager? to sum up: an average 3-star-hotel with questionable price-performance ratio and untrained staff.

Review 68：The majority of the staff was ok. However, we found annoying the fake interest of the PR or something girl. Moreover, we were overbooked and only let know upon arrival that we need to move hotels during our stay. The reception girl was trying to be nice though given the circumstances.

Review 73：The hotel is beautiful. Clean, unique and in a great location by the most popular beach in IOS. There are two beautiful pools and a private pool if you book a honeymoon suit. The breakfast is also amazing so much variety.

Review 74：The barman at the pool bar has no idea of how to make margaritas or mojitos. (too watered down) No room service after 11pm - a shame since young people can get hungry any time during the night :P The suite we were promised for 4 people was a little smaller than expected - a regular double room with 2 small couches serving as beds. No "do not disturb" or "please clean my room" signs.

Review 75：The spa pool at the top of the hotel had an amazing view, and the salt water in the pool was so refreshing. The Breakfast was absolutely delicious. Bed and pillows were very soft and comfortable. Good wifi signal, and free! The staff were incredibly helpful, friendly, welcoming, even refused to take tips! The view was breathtaking and the bushes around the balcony served as cooling foliage.

Review 76：Intrusive staff who kept interrupting our conversations and pushing local excursions etc. the room needed many repairs throughout, even the seal on one of the main windows had broken so we could not see out. Noisy air conditioning and noise throughout the night till early morning as people returned from nightlife in town.
