The 4-star Thirides Beach Resort is a complex of stone buildings featuring a swimming pool, restaurant and 2 bars, just 100 feet from the beach of Mavrovouni.

Review 1：Wifi is pretty scarce in the rooms. However, it gives you a reason to enjoy the outside areas :)

Review 2：Love the small, quaint feel of Thirides... along with the local port village. We had a multi-family gathering there and the staff was very accommodating to all of our needs. The beach is just across the narrow dirt road and lounge chairs are provided.

Review 5：Charmingly designed hotel, uniquely combining traditional architecture with minimal elements and luxury. Amazingly pleasant stay in a clean, quiet room with comfort bed, high quality furniture and linen and all the facilities meticulously chosen. Very delicious breakfast as well as the restaurant's menu. Last but not least, never have I meet such a friently and polite staff.

Review 7：Great location, on the beach, newly built but classic style. The town of Gythio is a short drive away and has many good restaurants. Lots of sights within a short drive.

Review 8：The sea was beautiful, the food made by the hotel had nothing to be jealous of funcy restaurants. Nice view from the room's balcony. At night we had some tasty cocktails by the pool. The hospitality was great and the personnel very friendly.

Review 9：Rude receptionist. People not resident at hotel using pool, loungers etc. pool not open for long enough for adult use. Dusty road, not well signposted, scruffy area. Poor restaurant choices, lots off the menu. Not made to feel welcome.

Review 11：The hotel does not have a proper swimming pool. The pool is not maintained properly and there is no proper water filtration system (a type of 'vacum' is placed in the water to filtrate it. The pool water is salty. There is no porter service nor a trolley to transport luggage! We needed to offload and transport the luggage to our rooms ourselves! There is no kids play area, kids are absolutely ignored and left with no dedicated area to play. There is no WIFI in the rooms, they noted that the walls made of rock are to blame for that... The outside area of the hotel is absolutely not developed and even the road outside the hotel is not tarred. Overall, the hotel is clean however it did not justify its 4-star rating.

Review 33：For a 4 star ... no garage, no parking, pool not perfectly clean, no washing machine, laundry proposed far too extensive (8 € for a T-shirt ...), no real restaurant, bed too narrow. No facility for handicapped people to the swimming pool or to the beach. Room for handicapped people promoted as "best deal" to anybody. Bath room very slippery. In summary not a good deal and not the friendly atmosphere as you could find in a family managed hotel.

Good taverna kyra mankoulis in the little town mavrovouni, if you are looking for fish taverns go to gythio, best, fresh octopuss served there. The food recomondations of the owner were very helpful and good. we loved to stay at this hotel

Review 46：Hotel's amenities are offered free of charge to everyone: locals, visitors, neighbors etc. As a result, the beach, the pool and the restaurant are always full of unattended kids and noisy people who are taking for free all the facilities you pay for. Furthermore, sometimes you have to negotiate with not-so-friendly people, in order to find a sun-bed on the beach, which makes the whole experience kind of a nightmare. It's wiser to rent a cheap nearby room and take advantage of the hotel's amenities, than pay its expensive prices.
