Review 1：Everything was fine with the hotel. I just wish there was a hook to put the shower head into on top of my head so I don't have to use shower wand in my hand. It's easy to take a shower when the water is just falling on top of my. Silly suggestion but that's all really.
Review 2：The hotel staff was some of the nicest folks I've ever met. They picked me up at the port and brought me to the hotel. Hotel is right across the street from the beach and the perfect location. Would 100% stay here again when I'm in IOS.
Review 3：We were in a ground floor room that over-looked an informal car park. Although there was a small balcony there was no privacy. The room was also not as clean as that which we have experienced at other hotels on the islands.

Review 5：The hotel is really close to the Milopotas beach, one of the best beaches of Ios. The owner, Nikos, is incredibly nice and really helpful with customers. The rooms are clean and comfortable. Strongly suggested.
Review 6：The owners of this hotel are the friendliest people we have come across since being in Greece. Their hospitality exceeded our expectations, and we left there feeling like part of the family. They even asked for our emails to send us Christmas cards! And we cannot fault the hotel. Beautiful pool, clean, traditional rooms, fantastic central location in mylapotas (and bus stop right outside makes it super easy to get into town) Thank you niko and family for a wonderful stay :)

Review 8：We came here as part of our honeymoon break across Greece. The hotel location was perfect - literally a stones throw from the beach. Lots of good restaurants and cafes within walking distance (although many closed during the week of our stay as the season ends mid Sept). The hotel was spotless, Niko extremely helpful and the pool and sunbeds were lovely. We really enjoyed our time at Aegeon and would thoroughly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing break.

Review 12：While the exterieur is amazing, the room itself is just average compared to other Greece hotels we have been. It's rather old-fashioned and the bathroom is rather tiny. However, it's clean and everything else compensates more than what you have to pay for this hotel. Thus, for this price you cannot get anything better on Ios. (Side note: This location is not adequate for partying throughout the night, as there is no night bus to the Chora. But we didn't need that anyway.)
Review 13：The very beautiful outdoor area with the green gras and the pool. It looks very moderne. Moreover, the staff is very welcoming and brings you to and from the port for free. Furthermore, the beach is just nearby. No need to take anything with you. You just can walk home if you need something.
Review 14：We just stayed at the Hotel Aegeon a few nights ago (end of August) for 5 nights. Great location right in the middle of the Mylopotas Beach strip and basically on the beach. Nikos was an excellent host and his family was very welcoming from pick up at the port all the way to our departure. He would help us call for taxi service and was around whenever there was something we needed help with. Would come back just to give Nikos a visit! We are a young couple in our mid-20s and we enjoy going out to party and meet new people. We loved that Hotel Aegeon was close enough to all the action but still quiet at night to rest. We had an amazing stay at Hotel Aegeon and would highly recommend this hotel to everyone as it is couples/singles/family friendly!

Review 17：Great location, close to the beach, shops and restuarants. Nikos is an excellent host and picked us from port & dropped is back without any issue. Lovely restaurant called harmony on the hill! We didn't eat breakfast there as we found a cool cafe at one end of the strip & enjoyed wandering up there to sit and enjoy the view. Wifi is good in all areas. Pool was super clean & loungers are comfy & we had no trouble getting them any day! Would definitely go back!

Review 23：Unbelievable location especially for younger people interested in a fun holiday. Right down the road from far out so you have it on your doorstep without the noise polution. The beach is literally on your doorstep, as was the bus stop. The pool was lovely and never packed full of people! And finally the owners were the most helpfull, accomodating people!
Review 24：Shower curtain wasn't functional at all so the bathroom floor was always flooded and there was no shower head holder and these two things make taking a shower at least difficult. What's more, walls and doors are paper thin. I kept being awaken by people going out/coming back from a night out/cleaning lady or even closing door and to be honest I couldn't wait to sleep somewhere else.

Review 31：I was welcomed at the Port by Nikos, the owner. He was exceptionally friendly and helpful throughout my stay. He offers a free pickup and dropoff service, and goes out of his way to make sure his guests are happy. The location is absolutely perfect!! A few min drive from the port, and a few metres from the beautiful beach. Many restaurants, minimarts, bars etc within walking distance. I highly recommend this hotel, Ios was by far the best hospitality I received in Greece. Thank you again Niko and family for everything.

The rooms were comfortable and the pool and surroundings pristine! The location is excellent, right on the beach and close to great restaurants and a handy mini-mart. Review 34：I travelled with my brother and our children who are between the ages of 18 and 23. We all had an amazing time in Ios and were extremely pleased with this hotel. Niko and the rest of his family were amazing in every way possible. They picked us up and dropped us off at the pier and brought our 6 heavy suitcases up to our rooms. The rooms were very well equipped and Niko's high tech gadgets make the hotel a safe place for young travellers. The hotel is beautifully situated right across the beach and there are a number of restaurants all along it with a spectacular view! I would definitely recommend this hotel to any one and am greatly looking forward to returning; I sure know the kids will be going back soon!

Review 37：The only thing I was disappointed in was the bathroom. You could not help but soak the floor as the shower curtain was too short, which made it a bit slippery.

Review 44：A beautifully designed hotel with a glorious pool. The owner Nikos cares passionately for everything and has high standards. It's a step away from the fabulous Mylopotas beach. Frequent buses stop outside and it's a short ride to Chora where the main party action is though there is some in Mylopotas, which is why it is a great bonus to be able to escape to the Aegeon and it's lovely surroundings.

Review 46：We got to the port to find out that the hotel had organized a car service to bring us to our hotel! We were very happy because we were planning on paying for an over-priced cab! Once we arrived the owner was VERY nice along with his son, who helped us move all our luggage! The room was VERY clean, and the owner showed us EVERYTHING that was necessary to ensure that our stay was perfect! Warm welcomes every morning, and even when we got home late at night! Answered all our questions and I suggest that you book here!!!! Its 30 seconds away from the beach!!!! WONDERFUL place!!

Review 58：Although not really something that was negative for us, when the door to the balcony is open, the air conditioner will automatically shut off (since you are letting hot air into the room). I see most of the automatic energy saving features as a plus, yet some may not like this. As with many hotels we experienced throughout the Greek Islands, the mattress is good, but not what you might find at a highly rated western hotel. We slept just fine and the linens were changed daily.
Review 59：A few hours after booking our room I received a "welcome email" from Nikko, the owner, asking about our ferry arrival time, so he could be there to pick us up at the port. During our entire stay he and his staff's friendly smile was there to greet us, share local history, stories and keep us abreast of local events We had a room on the second floor (#10) in the rear of the building, although since the building is not parallel to the shore line we had both views of the mountains and the sea from our balcony. With just enough space to move around and be comfortable, the room had everything we needed. If you ask, you can get a coffee maker (highly recommended to bring your own coffee and filters (#4)), as prices for coffee is relatively high, and not what the westerner may be accustomed to. The magnetic card for the room activates the electricity and also shows a green light at the front desk, so they know not to clean your room in the morning until you are out (light goes red). The pool area is clean and welcoming. The temperature is pleasant, a few degrees above that of the sea. With cushioned lounge chairs it is a great spot to relax before meeting friends for a night out on the town. The bus stop, going into town, stops right in front of the hotel making it an ideal location. When we decided to stay an extra 4 nights, Nikko arranged for us to stay in our current room and said if there wasn't anything available "You will sleep in my bed." Truly our most enjoyable part of our visit to the Greek Islands, we will be back in years to come to enjoy the perfect location, 45 seconds from the beach, excellent hospitality, and clean quiet accommodations.

The hotel has a pool with many day beds and there are restaurants within walking distance. Review 64：Shower head was attached at waist height unless you hold it, made showering a little difficult and water goes everywhere, but this seems the norm in Greece and wasn't a massive problem. Wifi also worked intermittently in the room, sometimes stopped, however connection is great at the pool.

The beach and local restaurants, cafes, mini market are right next door (not even a minute's walk!). You have everything you need at the hotel, the rooms are bright and clean, with balconies overlooking the pool. The owner is super friendly and helpful, and made our stay even more enjoyable. I would definitely go back to this hotel and I highly recommend!

This was a hotel where Nikos would go far beyond what is necessary to ensure his customers we happy. The fact that I could walk 5 metres to the pool and 50metres to the beach was ideal. I couldn't recommend this hotel enough to anyone interest in staying in ios and will be back again in the near future!

Review 95：Owners overwhelmed by high turner over of rooms, so chaotic check in. Our room had only a view of other rooms. Noise (shouting) from other rooms most of the night and early morning as pre-drinking groups got ready to go out and then came back hours later. Being in our early 50's we should probably have avoided this island altogether!

The location of the hotel is amazing, just across the road from the beach and right next door to the mini market. The hotel has a beautiful pool with lots of sun lounges. Niko and his family were extremely lovely, even giving us a bowl of cherry tomatoes fresh from his garden. It really does feel like a big family and we would highly recommend staying here when in Ios!
Review 109：Perfect location next to the beach & bus stop to go to the village at night. Lovely family run hotel, Nikos & his family couldn't do enough for us. They picked us up from the port & dropped us back when leaving. Nice few bars/restaurants along the beach which we found good for food & drinks. Bus to village takes 5mins & they come every 15mins (bus stop is outside the front of hotel) & taxis back late at night/early morning are €5. Couldn't say enough good things about this place, will be definitely going again!
Review 110：Aegeon is family friendly hotel located between a convenient mini mart and Italian restaurant/lounge. The hotel offers a relaxed atmosphere and sits right next to the beach. The owner could not be more friendly, he is always there to welcome his guests with a smile from ear to ear. Chora (the main town where all of the bars are located) is a 3-4 minute taxi ride uphill. All in all, Aegeon Hotel offers a calm, cozy setting in a prime location for all activities that Ios has to offer. Thank you Nikos for a great stay in Ios!
Review 111：Owner and his family are great! Really look after you! Nice chilled environment with Hotel but excitement and craziness just around the corner if you want it! Everything you want/need in one location. Would recommend to anyone!!
