Review 1：The beach is not as near as they tell us in their description. The surrounding area is a bit run down but the hotel gardens are spacious lovely and clean.
Review 2：Large room, large balcony, excellent bed and bathroom shower. Very friendly and helpful family-run hotel. They'll do anything for you!
Review 3：on the beach there is a possibility to use deckchairs and beach umbrellas but you have to order drinks in a beach bar and these are quite expensive. Otherwise there is little space on the beach which is clean and where you can lie down. A broom was missing in an apartment.
Review 4：this stay was just amazing. Hotel Paraktio is family hotel led by two brothers. They were super kind to us. They took us to a supermarket by car, borrowed us a beach umbrella for free and I could continue with other things like that. I felt like home. The room was newly equipped, nice and clean. The hotel is suitable for those who love quiet places and do not mind to go 20 minutes to the centre. The hotel does not have a restaurant but there is a possibility to take a very cheap food delivery.

Review 6：The feeling of freedom in excellency, the bed, the big balcony with perfect view, the sandy and handy beach, the vicinity of a charming small town with an open market for everything ( certain days of week ) including freshly caught fish from the sea which you can prepare in built in shade barbecues ( more of them ) where your hospitable hosts will provide the wood too....

Review 8：The location is perfect. Near to beach, excelent sea view.it was great, peacefull and freandly. The host was also great, he give us a lot of relatives about the near touristic objectives. Are a lot to visit. The cave is the moat spectaculos objective but alao the city of Thesaloniki. Nea kallikratea is not expensive.
Review 9：Pillows were to thick for my liking, ended up using a towel to rest my head on. Is not very well equipped apartment. I had to ask for coat hangers, only one loo roll so had to buy from Lidl. No washing cloth or liquid which makes cleaning plates difficult. Again, I bought. Only one pot and small flying pan, only one decent knife. I could go on. Jist of it is, I was hoping to cook and there were just not enough facilities to allow this. You will also have to ask the maid for bin bags as I asked her to clean apartment as she hasn't within the week and when putting all toilet tissue in the bin, it is nice to have enough bags to regularly throw the rubbish away. If you want quiet beach holiday, this place is ideal.
Review 10：Fab location. Steps from the sea with a beach bar and free sunbeds and brolly. (just buy a coke or something and you can lie there all day) Easy to walk into Nea Kallikratia but do go early or late as the heat of the day can make the walk exhausting (as it did to me at 3pm one afternoon) There is a land train at 8/9/10pm, was going to investigate if you could flag it down to ride into town but didn't get round to it. View from balcony is amazing, a sight to wake up to and eating breakfast out there is a huge pleasure. The host was very accommodating. His brother drove me to Lidl on the first day to buy enough supplies for the week. Definitely nice to see that family run businesses still exist. Dimitris (the host) was always asking if I needed anything.
Review 11：Great location, about 1km away from the city where there are supermarkets, stores, restaurants, and bars. The rooms are clean and spacious, with a great sea view from the terrace. There's a very nice garden for relaxing throughout day or night. You can use free wifi which may be fair in the room, but strong in the lobby and the garden. Free parking space available. The hosts are extremely nice and helpful, they do their best to make you feel at home. There's a beach with a bar across the street from the hotel. All in all, perfect for a relaxing vacation.
Review 12：It can be a bit tricky to get to the nearest town without a car. It is about a 30 minute walk from the hotel to the nearest supermarket and it can be quite hot in the midday sun. However, the personnel offer a drive to a supermarket for the guests to stock up on food during their stay.
Review 13：The hotel is run by a family who is very attentive to its guests and provide excellent service. The rooms are facing the ocean and the architecture is typically greek. Very cozy and quiet. The personnel are very open to providing any assistance that you may need.
Review 14：The best place to stay with kids on seaside! Absolutely unique friendly atmosphere, amazing owners, nice guests, great area. New furniture and bathroom, huge balcony with sea view. Kids feel really happy and free there, as well as parents:). Sea is 1 minute on foot - you can go to beachbar with chairs or stay on your own. Beach is not overcrouded even on weekends. To Nea Kallikratia center - 12-15 mins on foot with a stroller and music in player;-). If you need to relax with kids - it's the best place.

Review 16：Our hosts were the most polite and kind people we have ever met. And this all applies to the whole Chalkidiki peninsula. If i ever consider returning to Chalkidiki i know where to stay :) And the prices were low. And we loved the sight from the room and the balcony. And the sea is so close to the hotel. We liked the frappe. And i am sure i forgot a lot of things to mention :)
Review 17：The place is realy good for people with child . The view from each terrace is unique. There is barbecue,plece for children to play. And the owners are realy friendly and helpfull.
Review 18：Me and my father booked an apartment and a studio, that turned out in the hotel, were a bit far away from each other. Thanks for the flexibility of the owners, instead of these we got two studios side by side, in addition without paying extra price for the more expensive studio. The owners were outstandingly attentive, helped us to order food, taxi and offered a lot of other things we hanent resorted (take to the supemarket, etc.). The location is perfect and calm, the markets and restaurants are a bit far away (in exchange the nights are really peaceful, aside from the dogs, that a few paople mentioned, but they didnt bother us at all), but although the owners offered to took us to a mall we had chosen walking, because of the view one can enjoy during. Probably in july and august the hotel is not as calm as in june, but those who seek a quiet place to stay Paraktio is much better choise, than an accomodation in the noisy village.
Review 19：1. Kitchen was not complete (no sink; poor stove..) so I had to wash dishes in the bathroom; 2. balcony was not clean when we arrived (full of watter and dirty); 3. the paking space was muddy 4. the beach was very narrow and full of big and sharp stones 5. none of noted issues were noted on the site (e.g. it said that rooms have fully equiped kitchen, etc.)

Review 21：One of the best family run hotels we leaved in different countries ever. Very nice calm place to relax at a 15min foot-walk distance from the noisy (but cosy!) Nea Kallikratea. Amazing sea view through beautiful garden. Very kind and helpful staff - friendly family, they make this place and our leisure unforgettable. Good starting point to explore Halkidiki by car. Highly recommended to stay here! We'd like to come back..

Review 24：Our room was equipped with a defect in the kitchen block was bad. Could not cook and the kitchen and the bathroom was quite dirty.Apart from these I recommend the hotel to others.
Review 25：The boss whose name is Dimitris was very friendly and helpful. Our date of arrivel he came to us his car and he took me to a grocery store. Because there aren't shops near the hotel.The village center is about one and a half kilometers from the hotel.The "LIDL" store is abouth two and half kilometers from the hotel. The hotel environment is nice and the sea is very beautiful. when we were in the sea was calm when the water ripples will be a bit confusing but it is not at all a problem.
Review 26：The hotel had noisy visitors that did not respect rest hours (noon and evening) and this was encouraged by the owners that were participating. We were unfortunately right above the "restaurant area" so we couldn't really sleep well. We were had to request bedsheets/towels change after 4 days and were given 1 towel short and single bed sheet for double bed. You cannot pay with credit cards or debit cards, only e-banking on the spot or cash. We had asked for a baby-cot when booked at booking.com, and we weren't provided one, not even after the personnel was "asking friends and families for one of their own".
Review 27：The location is nice, walking distance to beach bars and beach, which is ok for adults and kids alike. The rooms are big enough. Balcony (sea) views include Mount Olympus. Some facilities and toys for kids and general "family" environment, which is great especially if you speak serbian. In general owners are cooperative and pleasant, but definitely not proactive. Plenty of parking space.

Review 33：It's been a very pleasant vacation. The owner and his family are extremely available ( he offered to pick us from the centre of Nea Kallikratia and bring us to the hotel, he joined us at the LIDL supermarket for our groceries, he took us to the airport). The view to the sea from our room was absolutely amazing. Big room, comfortable bed, a kitchenette with everything you might need, a fridge. I am definetely coming back to this hotel again.

Review 36：Limited amenities in the rooms (even basic stuff - no soap in the bathroom, no dish-washing detergent in the kitchenette), but fortunately there is a Lidl supermarket some 2-3 minutes by car.
Review 37：Very peaceful location, perfect for a relaxing holiday as it is some 3-4 km away from the center of Kalikratia, so there is no noise during the day or night. There is a nice, albeit small, sandy beach just across the hotel down the stairs, with a beach bar, sun chairs and umbrellas, and nice chill-out music. The garden of the hotel is great, with lots of trees and shades. Some of the rooms have a great sea view. The staff is extremely nice and helpful.
Review 38：The beach is not the best one - small and narrow. There is however another big one in Kallikratiya city.
Review 39：Located in very calm area, but just 1 km from the nearest city with taverns and supermarkets. LIDL is very near by. Very friendly and responsive owners, good wireless Internet in common areas of the hotel. The beach in the weekdays is almost empty - very relaxing atmosphere. One of the best hotels I have visited in Greece. Very good for families with small children.
