Review 1：Despite our frequent visits, the recpt girl gave us a hard time and said we needed to give 24 notice for ferry terminal pickup citing their hotel taxis are busy. She eventually agreed to pickup but we have to wait. Ended up we had to call several more times upon arrival, and waited for over an hour. We asked the driver if they had been busy over the past hour and he said not at all. Waiting around. Recept girl did not inform until a few minutes ago. All the goodwill built over many months of our patronage destroyed by a junior staff. Not smart ! Easy fix - better staff training in customer service in so called hospitality industry.

Review 3：The water in shower room. Sometime hot sometime cold. Very difficult to use. The toilet door in room 512 was broken, cannot lock.

Review 5：Breakfast spread is minimal but soft boiled eggs are good. For the price, the breakfast is considered just a throw-in, so it's bearable.

Review 9：From Batam Centre Ferry Terminal to your Batam City Hotel cost Rp70000. But your hotel charged Rp85000 vice versa. All other taxis on the road also charged Rp70000. If you can reduce to market rate I believe many of your guess will use your hotel service.

Remember this is a 2-3 star hotel and your expectation should be moderate and you will be happy. If you have high expectation, find a 4-5 star hotel. I am very happy with this hotel. Review 16：I book 2 rooms. The one i was staying was pretty good. My suggestion would be take the rooms facing First Choice Massage. The another room that my friends were staying didnt have warm water to shower and there was a pillar in the centre of the bedroom. Toliet paper was refilled immediately upon request.

Review 17：Good location. Directly opposite First Choice Massage and near to BCS Mall and A2 Food Court. Staff's services were prompt and polite. Overall room and toilet was clean, but hubby commented towel is smelly. Pricing is affordable and hotel even provide a simple breakfast. For the price of the hotel, i would say it is worthy.

Review 20：Flash flooding on the first day. Road in front of hotel became a one-foot deep river. But it drained off quickly after the rain, so no need to panic. Taxi service monopolized by a few operators charging premium prices. Have to walk down the street to pick up outside taxi, or negotiate reasonable rate.

Review 38：The hotel was built in 2014 but can find little chips on the chair hand rest, anti slip bathroom floor, bathroom door. The bedsheets and pillow case have little stain, the spare pillow is yellowish. Towels are not clean white. At the back of our large double bed, it has power plugs at the center. My son bang on it a few times when sleeping. The staircase steps are very high, difficult to walk. Better use lift even if rooms are at 2nd floor. The view indicate "face park" but we only see rubble. Haha

Review 39：The large double bed is equivalent to King sized bed which is sufficient for Me to sleep with my 11 and 5 years old kids.

Review 40：There is only 1 lift. The are some stains on the bedsheet and towel. The breakfast meds to be improved.The topup time needs to be managed. Alot of times the food are empty.This included the staple food like rice, mee and imagine even the bread counter is empty and we have to wait 10-15min before they topup. That's how slow the topup for the food is.

Review 41：The hotel provide 1 way pick up from the ferry terminal. Just email your arrival timing and the hotel will arrange a driver to pick you up. The driver will display your name using paper. Before we arrive the hotel called us to inform that the transport will be 15 min. Good service. Hotel is very near BCS mall and the reborn massage is very good. They have a promo 2hrs for $188,000 rupiah which I think is a good deal.

Review 43：The staffs were very helpful. They picked me up at Harbourbay Ferry Terminal with a 7 seater car. Assist to join my twin bed because queen bed rooms were not available. They attended to all my questions very promptly. Location was good, first choice and reborn massage as just within 1 min walk. BCS and A2 food court just a small road across. Room service was very affordable. They also take orders for kueh lapis and have it delivered to you upon check out. Transport can be arranged at a reasonable fee.

Review 50：I had expected the hotel room rates to be charged to my credit card when I booked online. So when the staff took Rp 1 mil from me (100k for deposit and 900k for room), my finances were messed up as I had only changed enough money for my food and shopping. My friends and I didn't want to bring back any Ruppiahs with us back home so we didn't change any extra and had to live with whatever we had.

The hotel is not facing the main road and it's about 20 mins away by taxi from Batam Centre Ferry Terminal. Breakfast spread was minimal but ok, so don't expect too much.

Review 56：Booked the hotel during early December requesting for queen bed but ended up getting twin bed and reason given by reception fully booked. Ok understood as it was CNY season. When requested to keep us in KIV upon availability of room bed queen, reception brushed us off saying not possible. Whereas next day we saw queen bed room available after 1pm. Next there was no proper housekeeping service, when we gave our dirty towels at 3pm and requested for new ones, we only managed to get at 7.45pm after several calls to reception. Basically this will be our first and last stay in this hotel.

Was surprised the service was like a five star hotel and i dare to say it was even better than a five star. Staff was excellent in service. Mr arief was helpful in my entire booking and enquries...will sure to be back soon. Happy to know that the opposite site was reserved for a new wing of hotel that has swimming pool.

Review 74：Was really shocked to see such poor maintenance for such a young new hotel. Wall papers are peeling off, switches are not working, leaking and water marks all over the building. Staff are friendly though. Buffet spread was very limited.
