Review 1：The food was really really nice and the staff each and everyone of them were so pleasant and very polite, the hotel itself was very nice design and well maintained, the reception and bar was so homely, I would definetly reccomend and already have to friends

Review 6：The room was very comfortable and quiet. The staff were lovely, very friendly. We didn't have dinner in the hotel but the breakfast was excellent. B&B represented very good value for money. I would happily recommend this hotel based on our experience.

Review 7：No value for price at all: Smell from the kitchen in the whole building, unfriendly and incompetent staff, worst breakfast ever (we didn't get any information what was included, scrambled eggs were green, got the wrong order...), no isolation in the rooms at all (we could hear every single word from our neighbours), sink should be repaired --> bad smell in the old bathroom, warm water took for ages, W-Lan was not accessible since private data were required (in any other normal hotel you just get a wifi password), crooked floor

Review 14：The photo of the hotel on booking.com was very misleading. It made out that the hotel frontage was on the river bank as the photo had been taken at an angle.

Review 15：Only disappoint was that he discovered on the first morning that the shower was faulty and only supplied cold water. The receptionist was very helpful and immediately offered us another room which we subsequently moved to for the remaining nights.

Review 16：Charming riverside hotel a few minutes from the little town centre with friendly helpful staff. We used both the restaurant which served a good selection of dishes and the bar that had a good choice of local tipples.

Review 29：Loved the actual building and thought it must have been lovingly restored by a builder and excellent architect for displaying its lovely location on the river by means of large panels of glass. I loved the bevelled glass in the dining room also...staff excellent and food.

Review 53：Rooms aren't sound proof. Beds were ok but bed bases were dirty. Curtains were filthy and room tiny and not relaxing. I would certainly stay again but would insist on a better room.

Review 61：The first room we were shown to was not acceptable. However the receptionist was professional and showed us two alternative rooms. We chose a room with a river view, but it was quite small and only one dining style chair. A double room should have two comfortable armchairs as it's not acceptable to have to sit on the bed.

The eggs kennedy for breakfast were tasty and made a lovely change from the normal bacon and eggs. A good place to stay on the way to West Cork. I wouldn't recommend for a longer stay as the rooms could be more comfortable.
