Review 1：Bathrooms are a little cramped and beds were quite hard but they wouldn't stop me recommending the place.

Review 3：Hotel was beyond our expectations. The journey on foot (15 minute walk) to Kolymbari village was along a poorly lit road next to the beach. Would be interested in returning when investment in the surrounding infrastructure has been made. The beach area also needs development from pebbles to a sand base. However please see this as constructive criticism of the resort as the hotel as value for money is our best ever in several years visiting Greece. The friendliness of bar owners and staff in the village is a credit to the resort. Wouldn't expect anything less from Crete !!

Review 5：The location was okay. It's hard to pick a good location in Crete because you must drive around anyway. This was away from the tourists yet close enough to a touristy spot with great restaurants. Still, if I had to choose again, I'd pick somewhere closer to Chania town.

Review 9：Mattresses are cheap. You will feel the springs. No shower curtains in the bathroom. You will be walking in puddles when going to the bathroom.

Review 11：The nearby beach was a real disappointment - dirty and untrnded an right by the open bins! A little care would go a long way here / some sun beds provided by the hotel and maybe a walkway to the sea as some of the other hotels on the beach have. And move the bins! A board walk or promenade along the beach ( avoiding the eye sores of open bins and derelict buildings with their strewn rubble and rubbish) from the hotel into kolimvari would transform this resort.

Review 12：The staff are just lovely - everyone is friendly helpful and welcoming. The setting is gorgeous and the standard of accommodation is the best Ive ever experienced in Greece for the cost. Incredible value.

Review 13：Trying to book a spa service was near to impossible. You had to book directly with the provider and she was never around. I even came back to the hotel early two days and she had left for the day.

Having said that they were very good value and there were plenty of alternatives about a 15 minute walk away.the rooms were comfortable and immaculately clean. Having a fridge in the room was a definite bonus. The pool bar was great with a good selection of snacks and drinks available.

Review 42：All the staff within the Hotel were extremely friendly and helpful at all times. This made for a very relaxing break. Variety at breakfast was fabulous. Our room was very comfortable and the cleaners took pride in their work. The maintenance man was always on the go attending to anything which required attention. It was early in their season but it was obvious everyone attached to the Hotel took care to ensure their guests enjoyed their stay at the Chryssana including the front desk and the manager who would make time to speak with you. First rate, thank you all.
