Review 1:the bed was too small for a family of four they should have given us a king size bed instead or should not have charged for the extra bed

Review 8:The lift was jammed . The lights went out and was in between floors . Although i pressed the bell no one came . It happened trice in one ride down the lift . No one came to enquire or help .

Review 9:I went ealier but was checked in. The room was spacious and clean . The concept was like on a cruise ship . Was beautiful .

Review 10:The breakfast needs a lot of improvement both in terms of taste and variety. Also, we are allowed to check in only at about 2.40pm instead of 2pm as the room was not ready. Such delay is unpleasant but we understand that such delay is likely during peak period.

Review 11:We enquired about two things. First, we enquired about places of interests on 31/5 between 11.30am-12.30pm and the front counter staff advised us happily. Second, we enquired about our return ferry tickets in 1/6 between 9.30-10.30am and the front counter staff called the ferry company to help us enquire and they did so happily.

Review 18:It was stated that the check-in time was at 2pm. When we arrived there, the front office staff said that the room wasnt ready and told us to wait probably around 30 minutes or so. After 45 minutes, he didnt even approach us to update about the room. When I approached him, he told me to ask the other front office staff -.- After check in, me and my buddies decided to go for a swim. The pool was of appropriate size. No complains. The jacuzzi, I find that the water was too hot so I went back to the pool. Guess what guys, they charge 100,000Rph for us to get a towel each after our swim.

Review 19:The staffs working at Pacific Palace were really friendly and helpful. Breakfast was great, there was a variety of food to choose from. Credits to your staff, Elva for making us feel welcome. When we came down for breakfast, she greeted us with a warm smile. When we settled into our seats, she immediately set up our cutleries to eat. The rooms were very spacious and comfortable. We even have a balcony facing the pool!

Review 20:It is common in Indonesia that they cannot make half boiled egg. Here, I rejected six eggs. Finally I settled with 2 almost raw eggs.

Review 26:Rooms - cig burns on carpet and some bedding/ cochroaches!!!! /location not great. Staff wanted to charge 30 percent more for an extranight despite it being cheaper to book on booking.com! Stupid staffwith no concept of customer service or common sense. Loud nightclub onsite running until 5am! Ridiculous! (I'm english so don't minda club but this is just bonkers the level of noise even in a quiet roomwas way too much)

Review 32:For the price, its really not up to the standard. This was my first time booking this hotel. Was kinda disappointed. There is cheaper hotel out there but better. Room flooring was dusty upon checking in. bed sheet looks dirty. cupboard, drawer etc are old. And there was baby roaches in the room! No wifi in the room, u need to go lobby to use wifi. For the price and the awesome looking ship, I was expecting more but neh it was just fair..

Review 39:It was the first time my colleague & I stayed in your Hotel though we make regular trips to Batam and the experience we had was bad. First, it's unbelievable how my colleague had been given such a dirty and poorly maintained Executive suite. The sofa was badly stained, carpets were dirty and the wardrobe had a bad smell. The room was also dimly lit and the TV was also not working & we had to get it fixed. When my colleague asked for a room change (to a Superior Room), he was denied initially but after much insistence his request was finally granted. This ordeal was aggravated when he checked out and were told that he had used the mini bar and an amount of close to RP350,000 was payable from the Exec room he had vacated almost instantly after check-in. On his behalf, I had to explain that how could this happen and again, the Duty Manager had to step in to resolve as there's no way my colleague will pay for expenses that he has not incurred. In addition, the bath towels in my Superior Room was filthy & I only realised it after I used it and took a close look.

Review 40:I had asked for an additional pillow..but they took more than 2 hours to deliver it. The gro at recept do not greet guests. Poor customer scvs

Review 42:Their jacuzzi pool was a disappointment, the temperature for the cold pool is way to cold and hot pool is way too hot. PH level for the swimming pool is too high. Breakfast buffet spread so-so only, not up to standard.

Review 46:Beware when you check in this hotel as they demanded a 2.000.000 deposit from me. They did not get it as I am a seasoned world traveler and I said okay there are hundreds of hotels I can stay at so I will go there. I booked through www.boobking.com and as you don't actually pay until you arrive they demanded this deposit so my advice is pay in advance and tell them that under no circumstances will you pay a deposit. they told me its for the mini bar or if I order room service. my mini bar was empty and even though the hotel is nice its not somewhere you would want to eat lunch or dinner as there are lots of better places around the area.

Review 47:I enjoyed my stay here greatly the staff were very helpful and breakfast was okay for Batam the location is ideal also if you want to realize humility and humanity go to the local shanty village just a 2 min walk outside hotel turn right, it is inspiring and amazing but the biggest bonus are the people that live there as they are so chatty and welcoming and although they live and have nothing they never ask for anything or beg. It is a nice gesture though if you are to experience their way of life and village to offer one of the families that are friendly a little token gift.

Review 48:Checked in at 6.30 pm with a booking.com reservation. They asked if I wanted a non-smoking room, to which I replied yes. I had to wait in the lobby with mosquitoes buzzing around my head until 6.50 at which time they gave me a smoking room
