Reviews for Centrohotel

Review 1:Seems, it has been quite a good hotel in 1955. And seems it has not been renovated since. A bit smelly. Strange interior. And there was no bread during breakfast :( OK, we went before closure, but lack of bread is difficult to comprehend...

Review 2:It had a place for overnight stay, which is kind of difficult there in August. And you can easily reach sea.

Review 3:Bathroom was old and little bit thirty and there was bad light. Breakfast was not good!

Review 4:Location was great. Room was big and we had two balcony with nice view.

Review 5:Con eniently located by the train station so central to Bordighera and very easy to travel to nearby Monaco and France for very little cost. Good parking available for 2€ a day.

Review 6:The bathroom cannot be described with proper words. It is very small. It is so small that they invented moving sink. It is right above the toilet. So if one wants to sit down, one has to move the sink. It is not all. One cannot sit straight because legs dont fit. The wall is in 15 cm from the toilet. It is something I would not want to see again in my life.

Review 7:Location was good 1 min from the beach. Shop is nearby. All kinds of things one would need are all very close.

Review 8:Breakfast was tasty but poor (no meet or cheese, only croissants),every day was the same all the week.

Review 9:The location is perfect, next to the beach and train station.Bars and reastaurants are close to the hotel. Room was clean with a little balony with seaview. Staff is friendly. Was wifi in the room.

Review 10:VERY loud bar open 24/7 across the street. Only the young girl at reception in the morning spoke English. The sourly man and the other girl didn't speak English and were difficult to deal with. Warning-signs and posters were posted everywhere: sign in lift about leaving the fan on - and how this has caused numerous fires in the past(!); several signs in the room about not using towels in the wrong way (?!), leaving the fan on and about smoking. Warning sign about consuming any bottle of water or other drink which had not been bought at the hotel. The breakfast was sparse. The afternoon-girl tried to force us to leave the room-key at reception when we left the hotel for dinner, but anyone could walk in from the street and pick up a key behind the reception desk when this was not staffed throughout the day – hence our insurance would not have covered theft. The night porter even placed all the keys on the front desk for anyone to help themselves. Very loud classical music in the breakfast room in the morning. A small dog (!) lives in the reception area.

Review 11:They gave us a new room on the second night after we complained about the absurdly loud music from the bar opposite.

Review 12:Wifi did not work in room. Could do with a simple set up for making a cuppa in room. Had to request for fridge and airconditioning to be switched on. Need instructions in English to use safe.

Review 13:Convenience of being so close to train station, cafes, supermarket and beach. Very helpful and friendly staff.

Review 14:The breakfast could be improved with more warm food options and better coffee.

Review 15:Great wifi, location and service!

Review 16:Noise from yrain station, but then to be expected due to proximity.

Review 17:Next to Stazione & beach.
