Reviews for Leonardo'S
Review 1:The breakfast - very plain and small Annoying part was getting from Napoli to Agerola or I guess we were not well prepared. The SITA bus stops just on a street next to Garibaldi train station and we asked so many people to get there. It is not even on the central bus station. Then it turned out that we need to wait 2 hours as the buses are not very regular.
Review 2:The place is very good to stay and I would recommend it. You maybe cannot image what an advantage it is to have an English speaking host, a very friendly one. There are some things it is good to expect in advance so that you come with the proper expectations. San Lazzaro is located high above the coastal line and the bus takes you only to Amalfi (50 min) or to Napoli (~80min). From Amalfi you can go everywhere by bus or ferry. The travel to Amalfi is fantastic and the views take your breath and drive your adrenaline up as the roads are crazy tight on the edge of the cliffs. If you are like me and you would love to climb for the view you are fine and happy with the travel 2 times a day. If you are like my husband who gets irritated by the curves and time lost in travel, look for something on the main road. There is also a fantastic stairway that starts next to the hotel and brings you to Amalfi by foot. The rooms are good for its class. The rooms terrace is very nice and the sea view is just adorable, especially from this height. Generally, in this location you should not overspend your time in a room :) You can try the Path of Gods pathway, 3 hours in the mountain with best from the Amalfi coast views. It starts from the next neighborhood Bomerano, 5 min by the bus and ends at Positano. I had the best lasagna ever on earth prepared by our great host Vincenzo in the Leonardo's restaurant. Thanks for it, I will ever remember it :) If you come to Sofia, please be my guest and bring some with you :) :) :)
Review 3:it is a little bit far to explore costa amalfitana, it takes 45 min to reach the coast and 45 min back.
Review 4:Wonderful view from the room balcony, polite staff, nice room
Review 5:Nothing, apart from having to go home after an amazing week.
Review 6:The view from the room's balcony was stunning. The people were so friendly and helpful. The food at the restaurant was fantastic ate there every night. The location was good for Amalfi, Positano and the rest of the coastline and we found it quite easy to find.
Review 7:Be aware this property is a large restaurant and function centre first and foremost. Whilst it was fascinating to see locals celebrate first communions, 18th birthdays, engagements etc. it can be noisy......nothing ear plugs can't fix!
Review 8:We enjoyed the views and being away from the tourist crowds of the usual spots. It was also centrally located to reach Amalfi (town), Capri, Positano and Pompei. Friendly and a good budget choice.
Review 9:Everything was perfect, the room, the view from the room, we also had dinner at their restaurants and it was very good also, with a very reasonable price! A perfect place to rest in the way of Amalfi cost!
Review 10:the access by car was not as easy as expected, take a map or a gps with you and it became a lot easier; once you arrive you have an amazing surprise!
Review 11:Location, nice pizzeria in loco, the romantic balcony over the mountain and the see, the warmth of the hosts
Review 12:The place, the view from the balcony (600 metres above the sea!!), restaurant in the pension offers good food for great prices.
Review 13:Internet connectivity was very poor.
Review 14:The view from the room is amazing.
Review 15:Absolutely nothing.
Review 16:We stayed at Leonardo's for a week to discover the Amalfi coast and absolutely loved it. Our room was clean and spacious, with a balcony and seaview. From the terrace and the street right next to Leonardo's, you have an amazing view over the Amalfi coast. Leonardo's is also a restaurant, and we ate "at home" every night because food was delicious and at a very good price. The host of both the B&B and the restaurant, Enzo, is very friendly and helpfull in anything you need. If you are by car, Agerola is nicely situated at about 45 min driving distance from Positano, Amalfi and Napoli, but it is not so touristic itself which is nice. Also, Leonardo's is also close to the starting point of the famous "path of the gods" in Agerola. We highly recommend Leonardo's for visiting the Amalfi coast!
