Review 1：Badly maintained splash pool. Concrete missing. Grit on the bottom of it. On our last day we learned of a much larger pool in a 200yd walk from the hotel. No one told us until we complained about the bad condition of the splash pool. Only scrambled eggs on offer for a hot breakfast. Good coffee!

Review 3：A+ stay. Hotel staff very attentive and gracious. Upgraded our room on arrival due to reservation indicating it was our 30th anniversary. Accommodations, restaurant and spa excellent. Front desk staff very helpful with sight seeing recommendations and directions. A definite recommendation to friends and family, no doubt a place to return to in the future!

Review 12：It was far out in the boonies! Far from all main attractions. We went there thinking it was near all the good wineries and that we would be able to take some great wine and olive oil tours. The reception sent us out with one tour that did one winery tour and not the wine we like. So that was disappointing. If you are looking for a quiet desolate type of place then this would be the place for you.

The room didnot have tea/coffee, though free fruit juice and croissants wereavailable in the lobby area all day. The tv was old and had nointernational channels.

The room was veryspacious and well appointed with great views out over the Tuscanycountryside. The staff were excellent, friendly and helpful with goodEnglish in the main. The restaurant food was good quality and verytasty, and though the menu was a little limited, the service was greatand the ambience excellent. Restaurant prices were on the high side butcomparable with other restaurants in the area.

Review 16：Village does not have too much choice of restaurants so be prepared to drive to Epernay for dinner unless you want to stay at Castle.

Review 18：The place is situated on a top of a hill. There is noting you can do around. There is a BIG differance between the pool you see on Photos and the actually pool. There is no pool just a little thing where you can put your legs.
