Review 1：Although we always stay during the same week in September we were disappointed to find some facilities had already finished this year.
Review 2：This was our eighth visit to this fabulous place, but it is now under new management. The location is perfect and we had lovely stay but it was different from our previous stays.
Review 3：A perfect hideaway for all those looking for a quiet vacation close to a beautiful beach but far from the raging crowd. Also very convenient as starting point to explore western Crete.

Review 6：This accomodation is for the peace and quite lovers. We had a two bedroom appartment which was excellent. Even though it was August we sometimes had the pool to ourselves. There are pool towels provided, a hairdryer, an iron,etc.there is also a washing machine onsite.The property is kept very clean by hardworking ladies..We feel you need a car, although there are two small supermarkets along the main road, if you had to walk this with shopping it is far. The beach is absolutely beautiful and within walking distance. There are a few tavernas by the beach. You can hire sun beds and umbrellas. This property and the beach will also be good for families with small children as there is a playground and lovely paddling pool. Because we did hire a car, we drove into Chania most nights for dinner and we were able to see a lot along this coastline of Crete which is stunning.One of our best holidays!
Review 7：Lovely quiet area on a busy island. Manager was excellent, and cleaning staff superb! Clean swimming pool with great vista. Good wifi by the pool but not in a couple of the apartments...small price to pay for a lovely stay. Beautiful gardens, and table tennis a bonus. Close to beach and eating out.
Review 8：My only niggle is that we sometimes could not enjoy the pool as much as we would've loved to due to cigarette smoking around the pool area. May be a bit of a turn-off for non-smokers especially those with kids.
Review 9：Loved the grounds, the pool and the apartment we were in (Levanta). The positioning of the apartment allowed us to enjoy the pool and ocean view. We particularly enjoyed late night sitting/ dining on the balconies soaking in the ocean breeze after a hot day of exploring or at the beach. The staff were so lovely in everything.
Review 10：The Ukrainian Bar man was extremely cold. Although we could cook and eat in our apartment we weren't allowed to bring food near the pool, which might be alright IF the patio next to our room didn't smell of sewage. The landscaping of the bottom floor rooms didn't allow our bathing suits to dry. You should also have a car to be able to get from this hotel to other beaches or downtown.
Review 11：The landscaping, proximity to the beach, and pool were awesome! I also liked having the option to cook on vacation.
Review 12：Internet connection was not always working. It might be to the fact that all at once tried to log into their pc's. But that was the only issue that we have experienced over the period of 2 weeks.

Review 14：We stayed at the "economy one bedroom" apartment which was half below the ground floor and maybe because of that the wi-fi was very bad. There were days when we couldn´t use the internet at all. The space also felt a lot smaller than 42m2, the pictures gives a false image. When we arrived, there was a plate full of instant coffee/sugar/teabags/jam -nice , but underneath all of them sticky old liquid glued to all the stuff... which made a not so nice first impact of the cleanliness. The patio is covered with beautiful flowers but it sounds as if you are underneath a bee nest! At first it was very scary to walk through the patio to get to the room because there really were so many bees flying around the flowers all the time, but at the end we got used to it.
Review 15：Rooms were very clean and also poolside was nice and clean + safe for the kids (there are two pools , one for children and other for adults). Rooms were cleaned every day (except on Sundays). Surrounded by mountains and sheeps/goats , very peaceful. Not so far away from Stavros beach - about 10min walk. Would recommend a car though.
Review 16：The bathroom wasn't brilliant. The shower is too small to be practical and unpleasant to use.
Review 17：We liked the quiet location and enjoyed the sound of the sheep and goat bells. You do need a car if you stay here. The beach is 3 minutes drive and it's easy to get into Chania. Cottage is well equipped. Swimming pool is lovely. Property in good condition, neat and clean.
Review 18：Friendliness.. Jeanie and her team were wonderful. Price..very reasonably priced Cleanliness.. Very clean rooms and the hotel environment Facilities were excellent. Lovely pool. Location. In Stavros. 15 minute walk to the beach. View of 'Zorbas mountain' we didnt have a car, and didnt need one.
Review 19：I'm traveeling through Greek Islands a bit booking studios for max 25€/person. It is the first time where I cannot complain. Spacious studios, well equipped and spotless !! Swimmingpool - big for Greek conditions. Really. The place reminds me a mini egiptian hotel/village (of course this good one), but it's not a hotel.More as a place with atmosphere of pension and nice staff. I was travelling through Crete by car and wanted to come back there for last 2/3 nights but there was unfortunately no place. We found this Artemis Studios the best. I do not comment the neighbourhood and surroundings etc. Each person wants sth else from its vacations, has different expectations. I dislike comments like : far away from beach, no transportation, no night life. ( by the way that's Stavros is quiet and peacefull- at least in September). I'm always trying first to read about the place before I go somewhere In the end - artemis Village was super I hope I land there in future
Review 20：- Stavros itself is not a typical touristic place - not much to do there, apart from nice beach and 2-3 tavernas, but it can also be an advantage :)

Review 24：Great place close to the beach where Zorba the Greek was filmed. Symphony of goats bells which is audible all the time, and of course great people. Close to the market and bus to Chania. We will definitely come back to visit this place and this people again.

Review 28：We stayed here in the first week of July 2014 and it was even better than we've expected. The studio (No 15 - Rodia) we've booked was lovely, with a fully equipped kitchen and with a big terrace with pool and mountain view. At our arrival, we've found a welcome basket with a delicious homemade cake, a jar of strawberry jam, a bottle of red wine, coffee and tea. The furniture and the room look exactly as the pictures on the website. The accommodations are fully emerged in a beautiful garden and the poolside is very nice. The manager was very helpful and kind. Stavros beach is nearby. There are also 2 supermarkets in the Stavros village. If you are looking for a quiet and relaxing holiday, this is the place to be. We will return to Artemis Village Apts next time we'll be in Crete.

Review 30：Artemis is surrounded by beautiful olive trees and bouganville, in the quietness and silence. The only "noise" were the neighbor's goats and cicadas. The pool is nice and well kept, with gazebo and sun loungers for guests; pool towels were provided free of charge. The owners Manolis and Ellie are very kind, and they are careful to any need of their guests. They proposed us to install a gate on the stairs, in order to help us to keep under control our 2 years old baby. Upon arrival we found in the room fresh water and wine, and a cake for breakfast. The room has furnishings average for Greece, and has and all you need. Bathroom is small but adequate, with bath foam and soap provided. Cleaning almost daily. Wi-fi is free. Stavros beach is a few minutes walk away, and the sea has clear and transparent water. Finally, great value for money.
Review 31：Do not hesitate, choose this accommodation, you won't regret it. The apartments have everything you need, are spacious, have à lovely patio or balcony and are very clean. The swimming pool is very nice and clean. The new management is doing a very good job, superb hospitality. You can walk to a very nice beach within 10 minutes. We will definitely go back. We have had a lovely stay!

Review 47：The apartment is short walk to the local beach. It is a secluded oasis in rural area, away from main commercial tourist tracks. One does need a car for trips to explore Chania and region. Very clean, spacious and private apartments, well maintained garden and pool. Management helpful and pleasant.
Review 48：Perfect location, very peaceful and relaxing with lots of privacy. Close to the beach, with great view on the Zorba mountain and the sea. Safe and friendly for kids, with enough space to play. Apartments were perfectly clean and well equipped - kitchen appliances and everything one needs to cook. Towels changed very often and always snow-white and nice-smelling. It is the best place we have ever been to in Greece! And last but not least - Jeannie! Our great hostess! She is the heart and the soul of this place! We felt like home.
