Review 1：feeding doesn't correspond to 5* hotel (food's quality was quite good, but quite limited). We were in 4* hotels where feeding was much better.

Review 2：Like I said, it was very comfortable, but it could have been a bit warmer - in the building and the pool. It was early too cold to use the outside pool in October. A overall renovation is also needed within the next few years.

Review 3：The Staff is super friendly, the facility is clean. They are flexible, because we wanted to stay the Sunday and enjoy the spa as well on our last day. We could check out at 4pm without additional charge. Food is great as well!

Review 4：1) Internet connection was horrible I went and sit outside our room in hallway to get connection! 2) we arrived at about 8:00 PM, except one receptionist NoBody was there We have carried our own luggages and when we didn't like the room, we changed the room BUT we had to carry our sheets and etc by ourselves from the first room to the other

Review 10：- not a 5* hotel, rather 4* - no privacy in the room; it was the first time, when I put outside the information "Do not disturb" and sombody knocked and tried to enter the room!!!! And the day earlier sombody knocked once and just after without waiting - enter without asking!!!! Strange and unacceptable!!!! - Have to ask waiters many times for preparing the table for meal

Review 23：Everything. Only the receptionists spoke English so communication was a huge problem. Dinner finished at 9 pm promptly so if you had only just arrived at the hotel, bad luck. The menus were in German or Hungarian only so trying to order was impossible. The wine menu was extensive but again without an English translation. The decor was old and tired; the carpets were scruffy and stained. However, the majority of the guests were there for the spa and "taking the waters" and they seemed happy enough. Where the 5 stars came from is a mystery to me.

Review 29：We did not like transfer on the way back from Heviz to Budapest airport. The driver did not know about repair works on the autobahn and despite of leaving hotel 5 hours and 15 minutes before the flight we could hardly reach the registration. The driver keeping central line did not even manuver to use faster track. He also did not know very well the auxillary roads to Budapest. Usually in all civilized countries a special services inform you about heavy traffic on the way. It seems the driver did not really care about it.

Review 30：Staff of SPA center and therapy is perfect, very friendly and knows its job, food is very good for a person who wants to go light and healthy. We liked very much the location: you can easily reach the Lake and town but at the same time feels as if you are in a green forest.

Review 59：Facial was very nice but I would suggest to do some shoulder or handmassage whilst mask is on face rather than leaving us there in the roomfor 20 mins until the mask gets dry. Hairdresser is lovely but it isvery pricey, huf 4900 for a blow dry. In Budapest, I paid huf 1850 andmy hair looked lovely. Rooms are nice and clean but not many dryingfacilities for wet bath suits. Quality of bathrobes is fading, I suggestto replace them with new ones. Quality of towels is good but not 5 starstandards. Live music can be heard in room until 11pm. Beauty staffcould be more attentive. We were left at the salt cave over 1.5 hrs,instead of 45 mins which is great but we were told that they would comefor us after 45mins. Not suitable for English guests. Activityprogrammes are in only German, Russian and Hungarian. Food selection isgreat but the cooked food was disappointing sometimes.

Review 61：We only booked this hotel to enjoy the in-house massage/spa facilities but they need early bookings due to lack of capacity so eventually we could not use any of it. The price of a room (180euro) for a night is too high considering what you get for it.

Review 63：A service charge was added to every single bill. It's not a huge amount but it soon adds up if order a few drinks throughout the day, a charge was even added to drinks you bought at the bar yourself! The size of the soft drinks are ridiculous, you only get 200 ml kids size soft drinks even when it's boiling hot during the day. And they pour it in a 300ml glass!) The hotels main clientele is German and Russain and as such they seem to cater for them, there was no English menu at the dinner table (although to be fair the food was labelled in English at the buffet area), a lot of the hotels literature such as beauty/massage pamphlets were devoid of English too. Something that is not made clear but should be given that this hotel is a spa and most guests will go for that reason is that you have to go naked in the various sauna and steam rooms. There is no issue with that other than it should be made clear as us prudey English might get a bit of a shock!! The hotel is definitely not a 5 star hotel by English standards, the rooms and general areas including all pool/spa facilities are a little dated. The buffet style food is fine but again not what u would associate with a 5 star hotel.

Review 64：The location and the spa area were nice. The archery lesson was good. The staff at the restaurant are very good, they politely show attention when needed. Generally the hotel staff are very friendly and helpful. We loved the little freshly made chocolate croissants at breakfast.

Review 65：Cycle hire was expensive but it is a good cycling location. The "no costumes" rule in the sauna and spa areas is horrible, is it really necessary? It effectively puts these facilities out of bounds to lots of people who don't want to strip off.

What makes this a wonderful hotel is the staff, from the front desk, to the concierge, to the bar, to room service. They are always friendly, kind and willing to go out of their way to ensure that your every need is taken care of. I received a complimentary upgrade to a room with the view of the pool which was a very nice sunrise. I have stayed at this hotel 3 times and it was nice to see that they reward loyalty for their repeat customers. I also informed the kind gentleman upon check-in that I had to leave at 5:00 a.m. for a flight. He quickly offered to have a carry out breakfast waiting for me at check out the next morning. This hotel is first rate and it the facilities are amazing. The property is located on its own private land with plenty of walking trails and scenic trees. I look forward to many stays at the Lotus Theme Hotel and Spa. The hotel is modern, clean and the staff always makes the experience enjoyable. Good air conditioning and comfort. There was a live band on Saturday night that was extraordinary!

Review 82：Upon arrival, in a 5 star rated hotel at a room rate of 206 Euros, I expect to be greeted in an exceptional friendly warm manor. There were 3 people on reception when I checked in. A young man smiled and was friendly, a senior member of staff was friendly but was on the phone so couldn't serve us. Unfortunately we were served by the other member of staff who was unfriendly. Reception staff are the first port of call at a hotel. They need to be friendly. The manager needs to address this situation and train staff accordingly. It is no excuse that this is the cultural way of Hungarians because most of the other staff were able to give good service. Unfortunately we were unable to have treatments because it was full. So book treatments in advance.

Review 83：The swimming pool facilities are excellent and extremely clean. The food is good standard and good quality and there was a vast variety of dishes for everyone including children. For breakfast and lunch. The guy who took our bags to our room was extremely friendly and informative. The hotel should look into upgrading his suit so it fits him as he is an asset to this hotel. Review 85：There is no facility in the bathroom to dry swimming costumes, so theywere always wet. The water pressure in the shower and especially in thesink is very weak. Unfortunately it's allowed to smoke in the bar area,but I've heard that it won't be the case in 2012.
