Review 11：I didn't like that although it is all inclusive- we didn't get free bottles of water and we were asked to re-fill it in the bar (the water wasn't tasty and eventually we bought water outside). also the GYM id 5 euro per day which is not reasonable for 5 stars hotel , especially with all inclusive program.

Review 12：we had the deluxe suite which was excellent- 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, very beautiful and wide. generally it was a good vacation in this hotel. the variety of restaurant (especially the Italian)

Review 13：Excellent! I mentioned that we were coming for our honey moon, and we received an upgrade for our room! The bed was decorated and there was also Champagne, fruit and a very warm welcome letter. The couple travelling with us also got an upgrade from a room to a bungalow, so that they were right next to us! The staff was very nice, everything was very clean, good food, beautiful hotel, best value for money! RECOMENDED!

Review 24：The food require major improvement, the food is eatable, but, in bad quality, not tasty. The food verity is large! Alcohol drinks are in very low quality, if the hotel improve the alcohol and the food quality the Hotel will be the perfect hotel.

The late departure room was particularly useful, which was a room with showers, towels, and changing rooms that could be used until departure from the hotel after checking out. Lots of beautiful and well maintained pools, which weren't busy (in May).

Review 35：We have spent 7 nights at Creta Maris Beach Resort and had a really great time. The hotel and site is extremely well run. The rooms were very good, clean, comfortable and spacious. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The restaurants are well staffed and it was never a problem finding a table. The beach and every single pool area were well kept and beautifully clean and there was a poolside bar to go with each pool. We had a fantastic time and can't thank Creta Maris and its staff for making us so happy whilst we were there. We will be back one day!

Review 36：Located on the edge of the town but it's not the busy part of Crete. The a la Carte restaurants must be booked in advance and as we were only there 4 nights we found them difficult to get into.

Review 37：The facilities were excellent and plentiful. Food was great (buffet standards) and had amazing variety. There were lots of activities and entertainment from the animation team. All in all the perfect the escape.

Review 39：Staff extremely helpful and friendly. We asked when moussaka was on the menu and although it wasn't on the rota during our stay chef made one especially for us. The restaurant manager of the day served it to us himself and there was an extra special dessert and glasses of chilled ouzo to go with it. Now that is what I call 'going the extra mile'. Nothing was too much trouble for anyone. Our room was kept spotlessly clean and the shower was brilliant. Because there are so many swimming pools (8) not one was too crowded and therefore very pleasant to use. There was a vast amount of food and drink available (we were all inclusive), which meant we never had the same meal twice. Thank you Creta Maris Hotel Resort for a wonderful stay. We will be back.

Review 40：the stones at the entrance to the sea - in calm weather they are clearly visible, but in waves You can get hurt. No pedestrian walkway on the road in front of the hotel, if you want to walk to the city of Hersonissos (5 min walk), should beware of passing cars

Review 41：almost everything - location, friendly and helpful personnel, clean and well-appointed room (we stayed in a first-line bungalow and actually it looks like small appartment with entrance hall and cloakroom), large balcony, hotel territory, choice of food, pleasant music - not too loud (may be old fashioned in terms of youngs, but very suitable for solid adults and little children )

Review 42：Changing pool towels more often (also in the morning time). Have shuttles services(bus of taxi) from the hotel to the airport and back round.

Their is an option for late checkout. even thought you leave your room, you can use all the facilities of the resort including special showers for late checkout guest with clean towels, food the beverage and also the pool and the sea.

Review 45：We went as a family to Creta Maris for a few days of relax and no hassle and this was definitely satisfied. The hotel has fantastic facilities, wan we were very impressed by their handling of the restaurants, it is no easy task! We got into all the restaurants we wanted to to book by booking one night ahead. There was a very wide selection of food. The rooms were very spacious and functional but not luxurious. The pools were great and we never felt bored in the 4 days we stayed although we didn't really go out of the hotel. The shows every evening were cute and entertaining and all categories old and young participated. Wifi was good in this hotel

Review 48：- the main beach had lots of algae and the staff was just pushing it aside in the evening : not great! - not many English-speaking people in July, our daughter found it hard to find playmates - no lunch baskets! These come really handy when planning an excursion outside the resort...

Review 49：I would overall recommend Creta Maris if you are looking for full board experience - with 7 restaurants and 3 bars it's as good as it can get. I particularly recommend the bungalows over the rooms - it's a new area and it has a much nicer vibe. The beach near the bungalows it's smaller but the water is much cleaner - that's important if you don't care much about the swimming pool like us

Review 50：The hotel should either enforce or eliminate the rule against reserving lounge chairs at the pools. The existing system in which it's banned but most people do it anyway penalizes the minority who actually follow the rules, leaving them doomed to be completely shut out of seating at the main pool. The children's pool with the waterslides should be lifeguarded. Our kids enjoyed the pool a lot, but we witnessed numerous dangerous situations in which unattended children were running up the wet and slippery slides at the same time other children were coming down; young children were being pushed down the slides by impatient older children; etc.

We were quite nervous about the rooms after reading negative reviews on here. But our two rooms (renovated bungalows looking out on one of the quieter pools) were both beautiful.

Review 81：What was advertised didn't really match what was there ie 6different restaurants....some were not open and the one that was servedthe same food every night. The indoor swimming pool had no water init....only sun lounges! It was too cold to swim in outside pools so wespecifically booked somewhere with an indoor pool.

Review 85：The beds were a bit firm for my liking. Unless you really prefer mixed drinks for the flavor, not the alcohol content, I'd stick to beer/wine/Sangria. The water in the sea and pool was cold (but I realize it was mid to late April). As the occupancy dropped after Easter, for most of our trip there was only the buffet and one al a carte option (the italian restaurant was never open during our stay).

Review 86：The bungalow was updated, nice and very quiet. I was given a new bottle of water every day. There are also water coolers available and if you want additional bottled water it was less than 2 euro for a liter. The chairs at the beach had plenty of umbrellas and the sun loungers around the pool were high quality (and also had umbrellas). The staff (restaurants, bars, kid's club and animations team) were very friendly and the resort is definitely kid friendly. The shows the animations team put on after the mini disco were excellent. I was traveling alone with my 6 yo daughter and managed to get several hours each day of alone time to read by the sea and go to the Spa :). Also one time my daughter (a perfectionist) dropped a plate of pasta when leaving the buffet and was in tears, I tried to calm her but the staff telling her it was not a big problem with a genuine smile helped. The food in the main buffet restaurant provided lots of choice, the local soft drinks were different, but there is water, tea, coffee, hot chocolate as well as wine and beer on tap. If you are looking for name brand things, they are available in the store for affordable prices. All in all, I always managed to find something tasty to eat for every meal. At the end of the trip we both wanted to stay longer!

Review 87：The all inclusive package which was limited and poor quality local branded spirits and soft drinks. 1970 _ 80s music which streamed constantly in the bar and pool area needs to be updated. Lack of choice of restaurants only one other option than buffet each night (same one Pithos) open. Lights in toilets at pool not working.

Review 88：The room, a one bed suite with sea view was lovely although could be noisy as above disco. .Some of the staff very helpful particularly the reception who helped us with day trips outside of the hotel and young Stephanie who worked at the romantic bar. Good quality sunbeds and umbrellas with plenty of choice. Beach and sea very clean but cold in April ( as was the pool)

Review 90：Went back after 5 or even more years. Everything was as good as i expected. Especially i like the management decision to renew the hotel. It is really unspecific for Europe. A lot of activities and friendly staff. My 3 years old daughter especially liked the mini disco and mini aqua park.

Review 91：we definitely enjoyed the food. the resort offers few a la carte restaurant , besides the main food court. As a young couple we enjoyed the quiet pool near Steki rather then the main pool. The staff was are very friendly all day (and night time). The resort is very closed to Hesronisos town. we went for a walk and a cocktail at the sunset which was beautiful in every way. The board walk offers a variety of restaurant with sea view.
