Review 4:Foyle's hotel is charming, elegant and very well maintained. The room was spacious and worked well for our family. The complimentary breakfast was a delicious full Irish with an assortment of fruits, juices, tea and coffee as well. Overall, this is a lovely hotel and an excellent value for the money.

Review 8:Food choice , service, location.

Review 9:No parking except on street. No lift making it difficult if you have mobility issues and you are on second floor. Rooms tired and dated in need of refurbishment. Bathroom cold and grubby.

Review 10:Central location in the town. Great restaurant.

Review 11:The hotel was fabulous, it had beautiful decor with fabulous staff who were friendly and were exceptionally attentive at all times. Room was huge and had everything you would need, and at breakfast the choice of food was unbelievable. The restaurant was like a 5 star restaurant and the staff were amazing. I cannot fault this hotel, we had an amazing few days in a beautiful hotel right in the centre of Clifden.

Review 12:Very poor water flow from the shower head. The double bed sloped to one side giving the feeling of rolling out of bed and which was corrected by placing a pillow behind me.

Review 15:Great location, very friendly and welcoming staff. We had dinner in the restaurant which was absolutely delicious. Couldn't have asked for a better stay

Review 16:The bathroom was with mold and looks vary old. The shutter in the bathroom was very dirty, we even take a shower there. And when you come into the room smell very mold but I did not find any mold in the room only in the bathroom

Review 17:The only good in this hotel was space in the room, it was a big room

Review 18:Fabulous hotel but it's glory days are over. Needs about £7 million spent on it.

Review 19:Great location and old world charm. In it's faded decor, a strong sense of the past.

Review 20:Hotel has real charm, staff are brilliant - friendly, helpful, professional and all seem very happy which is always a great sign and makes it easy to relax. The location is great, as is the bar. There's nothing super fancy about Foyles but it has plenty of character and if you want somewhere that has a history over a place with modern trappings, I would recommend it.
