Review 1：In the centre of the genteel, orderly seaside resort of De Panne in West Flanders on the North Sea, very handy for the port of Dunkirk, this is a charming hotel, four generations in the same family, now run by the ultra-capable fille de métier, Anne, with the help of her brother and mother, and a small staff, for all of whom no praise can be too much. The rooms are state-of-the-art hotel luxury (2013). The breakfast buffet is magnificent. The three restaurants recommended by Anne just round the corner are a superb reminder of what the cuisine used to be like down the coast in France fifty years ago. Thank you Anne!

Review 2：Stylish facade of the restuarant and terrace was backed up by a modern, recently refurbished room. Although not the biggest room it was perfectly adequate for our stay. The breakfast table was both varied and well stocked.

Review 3：Breakfast was ok, but strange egg and ham combination provided where the ham was hard gristly chunks. Also found it wrong that the coffee provided in the bedrooms was chargeable!

Review 7：Staff was extremely friendly, also to my 3 year old daughter - location at 300 m from the beach is ideal + restaurants nearby. Comfortable room. I can recommend this hotel.

Review 8：I didn't like the fact there was very limited parking. I also didn't like that the coffee facilities in the room had a charge of €3 per coffee.

Review 12：Stylish hotel (old style), modern and clean room with all the necessary comfort, a very short walk from the sea and metroline, very friendly staff, good quality food (breakfast and diner). We even got a telephone call to check whether we liked the proposed half-board menu!!!

Review 14：The lady that owns the place was most helpful with everything! From instructing us how to find nearby free parking to arranging for a table for 3 for breakfast both days. Moreover, the location of the hotel doesn't get any better! We really enjoyed our stay and would gladly return.

Review 26：less nice part was with breakfast - a lot of fruits but no vegetables at all, no white cheese, not a coffee/milk corner, and only 2 types of salami. Coffee is brought at the table in some very hot recipients, impossible to handle. No milk for coffee. No napkins. The lady owner makes a horrible noise with her heals on that floor and this is all time long at breakfast. But she is nice and you can forgive all these.

Review 28：Arrived late, very late, midnight in fact but no problem as the night manager effortlessly got us checked in and to our much awaited bed with the minimum of fuss. The hotel looked like it had recently undergone a refurb as the room was a delight. Contemporary design (which can go oh so wrong) was excellent, relaxing, plenty of space (junior suite), large bathroom, reasonably priced mini bar, comfortable – the adjectives go on and on. Suffice to say that for the money this was first class accommodation and it was a pity we didn’t have more time to spend here. Breakfast was a huge spread and open till 11.00am (English hoteliers please please note!). Plenty of sustenance for a stroll along the promenade which lies only 100 metres from this little gem. Great service, friendly, welcoming and obliging. If all hotels were like this then the world would be a better place.

Review 29：Our booking was for an appartment and a room in the hotel. Fantastic, we had peaceful nights, our daughter, son-in-law and grandson had plenty of space and we all could socialise in a wonderful large, well proportioned appartment. We were able to babysit in comfort to allow them a night out, with just a short stroll back to our room at the end of their evening out. For any other family considering such a break we all would highly recommend this hotel. An added bonus was the superb advice given by the hotelier on where to park our cars free of charge, and avoid the otherwise high parking costs in De Panne,

Breakfast has a great choice and Is such a huge treat to look forward to. Hotel has been run by same family for a few generations but they surely know what they are doing. It's good value for money too.

Review 37：Parking is far from the hotel (if you have a lot of bagage better to leave it first in the hotel) and not comfortable (underground) and expensive (25 euro per day). And also I couldn't open the garage box by myself and the hotel staff was busy and couldn't help me immidiatly. Only after about 40 minutes driving around the area I found another parking place and went to the hotel. That was very exhausting. In general this is too much expensive hotel for this level.

Review 38：Rooms are big, comfortable and clean (but there were some dust on a bed's back). Breakfast is tipical: eggs, bread, ham, cheese, koffe, nothing special.

Review 42：Aparentment was huge and had everything. Close to everything around the hotel and a few minute walk to the beech!! QUIET AREA!!(no nightclubs) We travelled to Ostende for the night out which was brilliant and only €3 each on the tram!

Review 51：Despite the fact that I turned up close to 10 PM and in a bit of a rush to finish up some pressing work, the proprietor greeted me warmly and got me into my well equipped and comfortable room quickly. The room was very well appointed and comfortable, with good free wifi. Breakfast the next morning was also quite enjoyable and well stocked.

Review 59：A year after a previous visit we were recognized and warmly welcomed by the very pleasent efficient lady manager. We were very pleased to be given the same room with balcony overlooking the main street. Quiet road with very little disturbance. Breakfast is wonderful with buffet style service and lovely cakes and pastries. Highly recommended and will definitely return. Car parking free in road directly opposite the hotel.. instead of battling the traffic to Cornwall etc try a short trip across the channel to a wonderful sandy beach..
