Reviews for Masseria Capocaccia
Review 1:We had trouble finding the place but apart from that it was great.
Review 2:The warmth of the hosts. They had limited English but spent time talking to us and telling us about the property (which is very interesting) and the area. They also gave us supper for a very reasonable price and ate with us. Supper and breakfast included homemade and locally made produce. We very much enjoyed our brief stay. It would be nice to go back.
Review 3:Fantastic location and conversion of trulli house into modern accommodation, but still respectful of the original design. Lovely views out over olive groves. Run by lovely, helpful couple. A wonderful retreat and opportunity to explore the area's history, caves and agrotourism
Review 4:We did not like the fact that there was no fridge in the room and so had to use the one in the main reception. There were millipedes found throughout the apartment, no tv in the room and no facilities for the kids.
Review 5:The owner was very pleasant and helpful, the breakfast was nice too.
Review 6:The room was new, clean and nice, but could use better furnishings to be more cozy. I would have prefered to stay in a trulli room to get a better idea of the traditional architecture. We had a little trouble finding the place even with GPS coordinates.
Review 7:The Masseria setting was nice and typical of the area. The farm had dogs, cats and horses around and places to relax outside. The trulli architecture is amazing. Our room was nice and clean but very sparse. It was is in the newer part of the complex. If you have a chance to eat dinner here, we highly recommend it - the food was wonderful and it was served directly by the internationally-trained chef who really loves to cook and please people. It was the best meal we had during our trip! The location is good for driving to Alberobello, Martina Franca, and other nearby towns.
Review 8:First of all, the owners were very nice, helpful and what I consider to be very good hosts. Second, the location is beautiful in the middle of nature, the clean air and nice landscape plus relaxation it brings is inspiring. My kid loved the animals he saw there, did not want to leave (my toddler baby girl was also entertained). It's a place I will certainly return to. I am sure I could find similar landscapes and traditional buildings in the region, what makes me want to come back here are the hosts. Please make sure to pinpoint the location on your GPS beforehand, it's worth the effort. Then everything is fine.
Review 9:No WiFi in the room - but not a problem - available in the public area
Review 10:Claudia & Diego are among our top 3 hosts ever! Extremely open, friendly, helpful. Location Very quiet, ideal to relax! Breakfast good - dinner - if you have a chance - extraordinary!!!
Review 11:The directions you gave how to reach the place, even the gps couldntfine thé place, till the owners came to company us to their place.
Review 12:Thé place ,thé facilities, the people running the place
Review 13:We asked Klaudia to make us dinner. She prepared 3 course dinner, and it was delicios. You can actually see stars at night.
Review 14:There was nothing to deslike...it was awesom!
Review 15:Wormth of the italian host.
Review 16:The trulloes and the Masseria are placed in a piece of gorgeous countryside, and the coast is not that far (Polignano is worth a special visit!). Everything was nice (room/breakfast) and the owners very friendly and kind. In a word, Apulia is wonderful!!
Review 17:• pretty much humidity in the room (due to the weather?) • no doors between the rooms • expensive in comparison with the Trulli apartment
Review 18:• hospitality of the family • daughter speaks competent English, the couple a little bit • very helpful • a feeling of coming “home” in a quiet and peaceful area • simple authentic interior • they had just Wi-Fi in the breakfast room • pleasantly quit music at breakfast
Review 19:Very well located, the trullo is very clean and it is a nice experince. Good beakfast provided by the owners which are very helpful and kind! We will definitely return!
Review 20:Not easy to find the sign off the main road, drive slowly or you'll miss it
Review 21:An amazing setting in the countryside off the beaten track yet not top far from the coast and picture perfect nearby towns with great restaurants. The dogs are very friendly and we also saw the horses in the stable block. A comfortable room and excellent breakfast which we had out on the terrace. Not too expensive, we even tipped them.
Review 22:Prepare well and enter booking.com’s indicated location into your GPS – the sign is kind of hard to see, and the GPS won’t find it correctly just by the address. If we hadn’t done our homework, we would have had a bad time finding it.
Review 23:The Masseria Capocaccia is a B&B consisting of a number of authentic trulli located on an olive farm. Our unit consisted of a huge apartment inside 3 trulli, with a sizeable living room, a master bedroom, a large kitchen (with utensils, dishes, pots, etc), a bathroom (which was unfortunately accessible only through the kitchen), and another small bedroom. It provided unique experience of living in a genuine trullo. The hosts are friendly, and did their best to tell us the farm’s and trulli’s stories. There are a number of animals living on the farm, who are all friendly.
Review 24:Having to leave after such an enjoyable stay.
Review 25:Claudia and Diego are splendid hosts and offer a great service with alovely home-made rich breakfast. The location is beautiful and theaccomodation very charming clean and comfortable.
