Reviews for Hotel L'Argine Fiorito

Review 1:Access by car from Amalfi is roundabout but on foot is much easier (if using the pedestrian tunnel between the two communities and assuming you travel light). A number of steps to the entrance must be negotiated. This hotel is NOT for the aged and/or mobility-impaired! Staff was business-like and courteous enough but not particularly friendly or welcoming.

Review 2:Very quiet location at the back of Atrani village, yet easily accessible from Amalfi (if you're not mobility-impaired!). Good breakfast

Review 3:We coped ok but if you are less mobile you may struggle with the steps to get to the hotel.

Review 4:Beautiful setting in a gorge with stunning views. Close enough to Atrani to walk in for beach and restaurants.

Review 5:Pillows were very hard.

Review 6:We stayed for 3 nights, room had a view of the sea and was clean and quiet. Breakfast had a nice variety and cappuccino was served fresh. Provided ice on request.

Review 7:The best value for money deal i've ever met! Owners are very friendly and helpful, clearness, beautiful view, authentic atmosphere. Highly recomended!

Review 8:The breakfast we thought could have more variety, but considering they have a very small kitchen (I guess) it's fine.

Review 9:Atrani is a beautiful place and extremely close to amalfi (5/10 mins wall from the hotel).. Therefore is a great place to stay for someone who book at the last minute like us. The hotel staff is extremely accommodating and welcoming. They gave us great tips for our vacation and were very helpful thereby making it value for money especially during season and for last minute bookings like ours.

Review 10:Lovely stay in Atrani which is in walking-distance from Amalfi and is a charming beautiful little town with its own beach and a number of restaurants. You have to walk quite some steps to get to the hotel but it is no problem really and the hotel has quite a lovely entrance with a small kitchen garden. The room and breakfast was fine and everything worked as it should. Would definitely recommend a stay in Atrani which gives you a more local feel. The staff helped us if we had any questions but I must say they were not very talkative or smiling - only "hello" - "goodbye" - but I am sure they would help you out with any recommendations or questions.

Review 11:It was a little surprisint to see a notice on th door saying that any laundry is strictly forbidden and those who do not observe this rule will be charged an extra 10 euro a day. I understand that it was meant to prevent turning the hotel into some laundry subsidiary, but still it is a little confusing, as i haven't seen anything like that anywhere else.

Review 12:The main thing: it is a really good variant in a very quiet town of Atrani. Atrani itself is quieter than th nearby Amalfi, and the hotel is in its back streets, which makes it really relaxing. The room is furnished with style and care, all utilities operate well, the internet connection is good. The staff is really helpful and friendly, they do everything to make the guests comfortable. The beach is quite near. Atrani is really lovely, and for a more touristy pastime Amalfi is quite near - just across a pedestrian tunnel.

Review 13:The attitude of the staff needs improvement - lack of patience, and lack of smile and positive approach.. the B-fast has no diversity and veggies. The parking arrangement is too costly - 100 E for 5 days!. Wi-fi is not working at night

Review 14:I liked the classic building and the small town of Atrani

Review 15:Nothing really. Just a recommendation on how to get there... Even though recommended by the owner, the hourly bus from Salerno is a no go! I would recommend taking the ferry to Amalfi and then either walk or taxi it to Atrani (which is just around the corner).

Review 16:What a wonderful location! The hotel is located at the end of the one little 'main street' of this nice & peaceful village Atrani. On the one town square, there are a few very nice restaurants and during the day you can have lunch in one of the two main cafe's. There is a beautiful beach and it is only a 10 minute walk from Amalfi. I would highly recommend staying in this town, rather than the busy touristic Amalfi. The hotel is very clean (room cleaned thoroughly daily), breakfast is okay and the staff is friendly. The views from Maria del Bando church high up in the coastal hill are unforgettable. This hotel in this beautiful smallest village in Italy made our last days in Italy very special. I wish I could have stayed here forever!

Review 17:Walk to the hotel and stairs with luggage and an 82 year old , as no cars permitted up from square. Going down was ok. Taxis to Amali we used as our family was staying there, some drivers only charged 15 euros, but others charged 25 or 30 they were charging for empty car coming to collect us. So check cost when you phone .

Review 18:Hotel was lovely clean. Atrani we found was much friendlier and nicer than Amalfi the square had enough restaurants beach was good would visit again

Review 19:Rather high humidity inside the rooms because of near small river, also a little bit noisy.

Review 20:Very nice and kind-hearted owner, good location. Good breakfast.

Review 21:A fridge in the room would have been useful, but everything else really good.

Review 22:Lovely family run hotel tucked away from the busy tourist area of Amafi, but only a few minutes walk away in Atrani. Good fresh breakfast, clean rooms & friendly owners.

Review 23:Location, pillows and the loud coming from reception.

Review 24:Clean rooms, nice breakfast.

Review 25:Excellent location in quiet spot of the Amalfi Coast. Courteous and professional owners.

Review 26:Typical two bed design (in our room) and th walls were a bit thin.

Review 27:Excellent location in Atrani. The nearby waterfall was extremely peaceful.

Review 28:Bring mosquito spray as it is situated beside a river

Review 29:We spent three wonderful days in this small, beautiful and very peaceful town of 907 inhabitants. Atrani is a little treasure – no souvenir shops, no tourist crowds, no traffic noise, just the cock-crowing and the relaxing roaring of stream. This family managed authentic hotel is simply fantastic and one of the best I ever seen in my previous travels. Very friendly, helpful and calm stuff (and Pinko – young and extremely curious pinscher-dog), nice breakfast, good wine (grazie Elia!), amazing view, beautiful room with balcony, five minutes from the beach, bars and restaurants, fifteen minutes from Amalfi. Just hope to come back again!

Review 30:My family booked out this entire bed and breakfast (5 rooms) for my wedding in Atrani in mid June. This place was perfect! Alfonso was extremely professional and welcoming. I felt they went above and beyond to make sure our stay was wonderful. The rooms were exceptionally clean and the breakfast was the best that we had in Italy. The rooms all offered a fantastic view of Atrani as well as the Mediterranean. The walk into Amalfi was only about 10 minutes and it was just down the street from Atrani's restaurants and beach. If you're looking for a quiet place with great service, I highly recommend staying here! Thank you L'Argine Fiorito for the great memories. We hope to back sometime in the future!

Review 31:Nothing we loved it here.

Review 32:This beautiful little gem in the town of Atrani is situated 500 metersfrom Amalfi and is one of the best hotels we have stayed in our manytravels! A very quiet and serene location with the sound of the adjacentstream, yet only 3 minutes walk from the central piazza of Atrani and a15 minute walk to Amalfi. We spent 4 fantastic nights here in late Julyand from this great location we managed to easily travel to Positano,Ravello, Amalfi and even Capri without using our car. Buses and ferriesare conveniently located either above the piazza or in Amalfi. Yes thereare some steps but on the Amalfi coast you must expect steps! It is thenature of the landscape, that is why we all visit this pristine part ofthe world. Secure parking is available at a discount rate through thehotel and yes it's 300 odd meters away but you can drive up to thesteps of the hotel and drop of your bags then park your car and forgetabout it till you are ready to leave. Parking is an issue in these townsso it's better to use transport anyway. This family operated hotel is a quaint little treasure, beautifully decorated and presented. The rooms are individually decorated, our room had a balcony with a view of the town and garden. Breakfast was great quality with a good range to suit all. There is no air conditioning however we did not need it even though it was very hot and unusually humid, the hotel is shielded by the surrounding mountains and the walls are so thick that the heat is not an issue. The staff are extremely welcoming and very hospitable, Alfonso, Elia and Pinko the little dog made us feel at home and we were sad to leave! We had a fantastic time and will definitely return and stay here again.

Review 33:was very hot - could use air conditioning or fans for the bedrooms; parking is difficult - thorough instructions on parking should be provided to guests prior to visit

Review 34:Location was amazing; good breakfast variety; very clean; friendly staff

Review 35:Friendly and helpful staff (and Pinko the dog); relaxed and peaceful atmosphere; big, beautiful rooms with balcony; relaxing sound of the river; wonderful view; delicious buffet breakfast; 5 minutes from the beach

Review 36:Parking here is beyond a chore, but it's worth the hassle when you are in this setting.

Review 37:It was great to be in this beautiful setting--it's hard to believe this hotel was a former pasta factory! The sound of the nearby waterfall and the ocean breeze made it one of our best night's sleep. It had a lovely breakfast. We wished we had stayed 2 nights. Atrani is where real people live on that coastline--much more subdued and humble than neighboring towns.

Review 38:Rien.

Review 39:Superb location 250 metres from beach and village piazza. Cooler because in steep-sided valley shielded from sun morning and evening. No need for air conditionong. Atrani is beautiful.

Review 40:Nothing

Review 41:Everything! We had the most wonderful and relaxing time! A beautiful and comfortable room, beautiful hotel, and an authentic, beautiful town! Not touristy in any way! The staff- Alfonso, Elia and Pinko were so friendly, helpful and accommodating we just had an amazing stay and will always come back. It's close to the beach and restaurants (sooo yummm) just a stroll down the street. Amalfi is an easy 20minute walk. Buses stop frequently (just above square) for day trips to other parts of Amalfi coast/Sorrento etc

Review 42:Lovely place, family run and very nice staff - who have an extremely cute puppy. Rooms comfortable and quiet. Bit of a walk up from the Atrani square with some steps. Very peaceful location. Great breakfast! Hope to come back.

Review 43:The temperature, unseasonally cold for May - but that was freak weather.

Review 44:The location in a cul-de-sac at the end of the village where the roadmeets the cliffs beside a waterfall - no traffic noise, just the subduedroar of water. Although joined to Amalfi by a tunnel, Atrani is off thetourist trail and very unspoiled - no tat souvenir shops, just friendlybars and restaurants with excellent, not over-expensive food.

Review 45:Very helpful , good location to meet local people .

Review 46:A very nice clean Hotel that made me feel very welcome

Review 47:Lumpy pillows

Review 48:Beautiful location

Review 49:Very rude staff Dirty rooms Bugs
